北京市回民学校介绍

北京市回民学校是一所具有90年历史的老校。她是在1925年4月24日建校。1949年10月，学校的前身成达师范、西北中学和燕山中学一起，组建了我国解放后第一所少数民族学校——国立回民学院。1958年以前面向全国招生，属华北高等教育委员会与国家民委共同领导。五十年代后期，学校几经变迁。六十年代被一分为二，即回民中学和六十八中;“文革”时期更名为一三五中;1979年6月恢复了北京市回民中学的校名。1981年被列为首批办好的市属重点中学，1983年又办起了民族师范，1985年8月回民中学和六十八中两校合一，改名为北京市回民学校。

办学规模

回民学校地处北京市少数民族聚居的牛街地区。今天的回民学校占地面积87亩，建筑面积3万5千平方米，校园环境优美。教学楼、实验楼、办公楼、图书馆、篮球馆、餐厅、宿舍等组成的建筑群错落有致，富有浓郁的民族风格。学校建成主干千兆宽带百兆到桌面的校园网，全校8座楼均通过千兆光纤与网络中心的主交换机相连，实现了班班通、室室通。数字校园建设已成规模，其中教育教学资源总量已达550G以上，图书馆10万册藏书中有2万册是电子图书。有标准的400米田径运动场和足球场，看台能容纳2000多名观众，看台下面是120米的跑廊。教室内配备计算机、电视机、录音机、放像机、实物投影仪。学生宿舍是高档公寓，设有空调、电视、电话、双卫生间、冷热水、计算机接口到每个人的写字台。餐厅可供800余人同时就餐。学校的教学硬件设施基本完备，办学条件较好。

师资力量

现有教职工259人，其中专职教师164人。区级骨干教师、学科带头人28人，高级教师占教师总数的45%，有著作、有科研课题的教师占37%，有四个区级、一个市级先进教研组。12种少数民族的师生占师生总数的30%以上，各民族师生共同学习生活在一和谐团结民族大家庭中。

Introduction of Beijing Hui School

Beijing Hui School is an old school with a history of 90 years. She founded the school on April 24, 1925. In October 1949, the predecessor of the school, Chengda normal School, Northwest Middle School and Yanshan Middle School, established the National Hui College, the first minority school after the liberation of our country. Before 1958, it was under the joint leadership of the North China higher Education Commission and the State ethnic Affairs Commission. In the late 1950s, the school changed several times. In the 1960s, it was divided into two, namely Hui Middle School and 68 Middle School; its name was changed to 135 Middle School during the Cultural Revolution; and the name of Beijing Hui Middle School was restored in June 1979. It was listed as the first batch of municipal key middle schools in 1981, and set up ethnic normal schools in 1983. In August 1985, Hui Middle School and 68 Middle School were integrated, and its name was renamed Beijing Hui School.

School scale

The Hui School is located in the Niujie area where ethnic minorities live in Beijing. Today’s Hui School covers an area of 87 mu, with a construction area of 35,000 square meters and a beautiful campus environment. Teaching buildings, experimental buildings, office buildings, libraries, basketball halls, restaurants, dormitories and other buildings are scattered, full of strong national style. The school has built a backbone gigabit broadband 100 megabit to desktop campus network. Eight buildings in the school are connected to the main switch of the network center through gigabit optical fiber, realizing class communication and room communication. The construction of digital campus has become a scale, in which the total amount of education and teaching resources has reached more than 550g, and 20, 000 of the 100000 books in the library are e-books. There is a standard 400m track and field and football field, the stands can hold more than 2000 spectators, and below the stands is a 120m running gallery. The classroom is equipped with computers, televisions, tape recorders, video recorders and physical projectors. The student dormitory is a high-end apartment with air conditioning, TV, telephone, double bathrooms, hot and cold water, and computer interface to everyone’s writing desk. The restaurant can accommodate more than 800 people at the same time. The teaching hardware facilities of the school are basically complete, and the conditions for running a school are good.

Teachers’ strength

At present, there are 259 teaching staff, including 164 full-time teachers. There are 28 backbone teachers and discipline leaders at the district level, with senior teachers accounting for 45% of the total number of teachers, teachers with books and scientific research projects accounting for 37%, and four district-level and one municipal advanced teaching and research groups. Teachers and students of 12 ethnic minorities account for more than 30% of the total number of teachers and students, and teachers and students of all ethnic groups study and live together in a harmonious and United national family.
