中山火炬职业技术学院介绍

中山火炬职业技术学院创办于2004年4月，直属中山市人民政府，并由市政府委托中山火炬高技术产业开发区管理。中山高新区的七大国家级产业基地、五大主题产业、四大新兴产业、1000余家企业为学院提供了丰富的实习实训资源，为毕业生提供了优质多元的就业岗位。

师资力量

根据2014年学校官网显示，该校有教职工460余人，专任教师340人，兼职教师260余人，客座、兼职教授50余人。“双师型”教师比例达50%，博士及副高以上职称教师达30%以上，研究生以上学历的青年教师达70%以上。

馆藏资源

根据2014年学校官网显示，该校图书馆共收藏纸质图书37万余册，期刊900种，报纸100种，电子图书550804种，电子全文数据库2个，以及软件通计算机技能数据库、万方专利数据库、超新名师讲坛数据库、读秀知识库等电子资源。

Introduction of Zhongshan Torch Vocational and Technical College

Zhongshan Torch Vocational and Technical College was founded in April 2004, directly under the people’s Government of Zhongshan City, and entrusted by the municipal government to manage Zhongshan Torch High-tech Industrial Development Zone. The seven national industrial bases, five theme industries, four emerging industries and more than 1000 enterprises in Zhongshan High-tech Zone provide rich internship and training resources for the college and provide high-quality and diversified jobs for graduates.

Teachers’ strength

According to the school’s official website in 2014, the school has more than 460 staff, 340 full-time teachers, 260 part-time teachers, and more than 50 guest and part-time professors. The proportion of “double-qualified” teachers reached 50%, more than 30% of teachers with doctoral and associate higher professional titles, and more than 70% of young teachers with postgraduate degrees or above.
