曲阜远东职业技术学院

曲阜远东职业技术学院是台湾著名教育家、实业家王乃昌博士投资兴办的具有高等学历教育资格的普通高等学校。学校的前身是经山东省教育委员会于1998年7月24日以鲁教台字【1998】15号文件批准创办的曲阜远东工商外语大学，当年招收高教自考助学班。1999年6月11日，经山东省人民政府以鲁政字【1999】142号文件批准，曲阜远东工商外语大学与山东农业大学合作创办的山东农业大学远东工商外语学院，纳入国家计划内招收普通高职专科，2000年10月17日，经山东省人民政府以鲁政字【2000】289号文件批准，并报教育部核准，建立曲阜远东职业技术学院，同时撤销曲阜远东工商外语大学，成为一所独立实施高等学历教育资格的普通高等学校。

学院地处中国伟大的思想家、教育家、儒家学派创始人孔子的故乡——山东省曲阜市。占地面积400余亩,建筑面积10万余平方米，教学及生活设施齐全。校园内山水、林木、古建筑相映成趣，环境幽雅，景色宜人，是读书治学的好地方。建有教学楼、行政楼、图书馆、艺体馆、仁卿礼堂、餐厅、教师公寓、学生公寓和多功能田径场等主体设施和先进的校园计算机互联网、交互式远程教室等公共服务设施。

学院设有本科学院、外国语学院、工商管理学院、计算机学院、电子信息工程学院、艺术学院和技术学院七个二级学院以及一个五年制高职部，共有40余个专业面向全国招生。全校专任教师170余人，其中具有教授、副教授职称和博士学位教师45人，来自美国、加拿大、日本等国的外籍文教专家17人，来自国内重点大学的教授、副教授42人，国内著名大学毕业的青年教师100余人。硕士学位以上教师占60% ，“双师型”教师占50%，是一支职称、年龄和知识结构均合理的教师队伍。学院始终坚持教学工作的中心地位，注重特色办学，贯彻高职教育“学以致用”的原则，培养符合社会需要，具有创新能力的应用型、复合型、外向型人才。

我院优秀学生可享受国家奖学金、省政府奖学金、国家励志奖学金、国家贫困学生助学金。学院同时设有王乃昌奖学金、培德奖学金、万博克姆奖学金、王元晨奖学金。远东集团旗下的曲阜远东铝业有限公司和济宁远东高科技材料有限公司等均在我院设有奖学金和助学金，并开展各种勤工俭学活动，资助贫困学生完成学业。

学院聘请原曲阜师范大学校长、知名学者徐宝庆教授为学院名誉院长，内蒙古大学客座教授、知名学者吴金教授为院长。由国内外知名院校的专家、学者、教授任各处室、二级学院负责人，保证了学院的教学与管理工作顺利进行。

学院与台商协会及100多家台资企业有密切联系，为毕业生提供广阔就业空间，使我院历届毕业生能全部高质量就业。

学院先后与美国加州科技大学、匹斯堡大学、日本青森大学、台湾远东科技大学、韩国加耶大学、启明大学建立了校际关系。并与韩国加耶大学、启明大学签订学生留学协议书。

精心编织“十二五”发展规划，为学院发展规划新蓝图。学院领导在反复研究、征求各方面意见的基础上制定了十二五发展规划。规划强调学院发展要更加体现服务地域社会经济的发展需要，围绕地域经济与社会发展目标，培养生产服务管理第一线高级应用型人才。

Qufu far East Vocational and Technical College is an ordinary university with higher academic qualifications invested by Dr. Wang Naichang, a famous educator and industrialist in Taiwan. The predecessor of the school was Qufu far East Industrial and Commercial Foreign language University, which was established with the approval of document No. 15 [1998] No. 15 by Shandong Education Commission on July 24, 1998. it enrolled self-study classes for higher education in that year. The far East Industrial and Commercial Foreign language College of Shandong Agricultural University, established by Qufu far East Industrial and Commercial Foreign language University and Shandong Agricultural University, was incorporated into the national plan to recruit general higher vocational colleges with the approval of document Lu Zhengzi [1999] No. 289 by the people’s Government of Shandong Province and submitted to the Ministry of Education for approval to establish Qufu far East Vocational and Technical College. At the same time, Qufu far East Industrial and Commercial Foreign language University will be abolished and become an ordinary university that independently implements the qualifications of higher academic qualifications.

The college is located in Qufu City, Shandong Province, the hometown of Confucius, the great thinker, educator and founder of Confucianism in China. It covers an area of more than 400mu, with a construction area of more than 100000 square meters and complete teaching and living facilities. The landscape, trees and ancient buildings in the campus are interesting to each other, with an elegant environment and pleasant scenery, which is a good place for reading and learning. It has main facilities such as teaching building, administrative building, library, art and sports hall, Renqing auditorium, restaurant, teacher apartment, student apartment and multi-function track and field, as well as advanced campus computer Internet, interactive distance classroom and other public service facilities.

The college has seven second-level colleges, including the Academy of Sciences, the School of Foreign languages, the School of Business Administration, the School of computer Science, the School of Electronic and Information Engineering, the School of Arts and Technology, as well as a five-year higher vocational department, with more than 40 majors for national enrollment. There are more than 170 full-time teachers, including 45 professors, associate professors and doctoral teachers, 17 foreign cultural and educational experts from the United States, Canada, Japan and other countries, and 42 professors and associate professors from key universities in China. More than 100 young teachers graduated from famous universities in China. Teachers with master’s degree or above account for 60%, and “double-qualified” teachers account for 50%. It is a team of teachers with reasonable professional title, age and knowledge structure. The college always adheres to the central position of teaching work, pays attention to running a school with characteristics, implements the principle of “learning for application” in higher vocational education, and trains applied, compound and export-oriented talents who meet the needs of the society and have innovative ability.

Outstanding students in our college can enjoy national scholarship, provincial government scholarship, national motivational scholarship and national financial aid for poor students. The college also has Wang Naichang Scholarship, Peide Scholarship, Wanbokam Scholarship and Wang Yuanchen Scholarship. Qufu far East Aluminum Co., Ltd. And Jining far East High-tech Materials Co., Ltd., which are owned by the far East Group, have scholarships and scholarships in our college, and carry out various work-study activities to assist poor students to complete their studies.

The college has established intercollegiate relations with California University of Science and Technology, University of Pittsburgh, Aomori University in Japan, far East University of Science and Technology in Taiwan, Jiaye University in Korea, and Qiming University. And signed a student study agreement with Gaye University and Qiming University in South Korea.

Carefully weave the “12th five-year Plan” development plan to plan a new blueprint for the development of the college.
