贵州盛华职业学院

贵州盛华职业学院(Guizhou Forerunner College)位于贵州省省级风景名胜区百鸟河风景区——贵阳市卫星城，是贵州省人民政府和教育部批准备案的一所全日制普通高等职业院校，也是贵州省唯一“现代职业教育改革创新试点院校”。

学校创建于2011年，是由王雪红陈文琦夫妇秉承其父王永庆先生的教育扶贫理念，捐巨资举办的一所公益性全日制普通高等职业学校。

贵州盛华职业学院图书馆于2011年9月正式开馆，馆藏面积1734平方米，根据需要，图书馆设有藏书区和阅览区。藏书区设开架书库，分为专业性书库和综合性书库，阅览室分为报刊阅览室、盲文阅览室和电子阅览室，其中电子阅览室设有176台机器以供阅览，座位360席，以供读者阅览学习。

馆藏书种类齐全、突出重点，文献收藏遵循服务我院教学的原则，馆藏以计算机、茶学、酒店管理、康复治疗学等专业书为主，兼收文史哲、法经管。馆藏纸质图书约8万册，电子图书26万册。中文期刊100多种，外文期刊近10种，报纸10多种。

根据2015年6月学校官网显示，学校设有互联网营销学院、工商管理学院、数字媒体应用学院、计算机应用学院、茶学院、民族文化传承中心和光明天使学院。

学校有教职工150余名，有来自于美国、英国、加拿大、澳大利亚等10个国家的70余名志愿者外教先后承担了学校英语教学，每年有几十名国外留学生到校交流学习。北航软件学院院长孙伟博士担任学校执行校长。中国科学院、清华大学、北京航空航天大学多位资深教授博士在校教学。

学校本着以“零成本”完成大学扶助贵州和西部地区贫困子弟促教育公平。 学校与中国红十字基金会光明天使基金合作创办世界一流的慈善盲人学生高等学历学院，在全国慈善招收优秀盲人和视障学生并免除学生学费、学杂费。学校引入有丰富专业工作经验的企业人士和大量全球爱心志愿者教学[19] ，为2011年秋季入学的每个学生配发爱心捐赠的笔记本电脑使用。

Guizhou Shenghua Vocational College (Guizhou Forerunner College) is located in the Baiyaohe Scenic spot-Guiyang Satellite City, a provincial scenic spot in Guizhou Province. It is a full-time general higher vocational college approved by the people’s Government and the Ministry of Education of Guizhou Province. It is also the only “pilot college for the reform and innovation of modern vocational education” in Guizhou Province.

Founded in 2011, the school is a public welfare full-time higher vocational school organized by Wang Xuehong, Chen Wenqi and his wife, adhering to the educational poverty alleviation concept of their father, Mr. Wang Yongqing.

The library of Guizhou Shenghua Vocational College officially opened in September 2011, with a collection area of 1734 square meters. According to the needs, the library has a book collection area and a reading area. The book collection area has an open-shelf library, which is divided into a professional library and a comprehensive library. The reading room is divided into a newspaper reading room, a Braille reading room and an electronic reading room. Among them, the electronic reading room has 176 machines for reading and 360 seats for readers to read and learn.

The collection of books is complete and highlights the key points. The literature collection follows the principle of serving the teaching of our college. The collection is mainly specialized books such as computer, tea, hotel management, rehabilitation therapy and so on, as well as literature, history, philosophy and law management. The library has about 80, 000 paper books and 260000 e-books. There are more than 100 Chinese periodicals, nearly 10 foreign periodicals and more than 10 newspapers.

According to the school’s official website in June 2015, the school has an Internet marketing school, a business administration school, a digital media application school, a computer application school, a tea college, a national cultural heritage center and a bright angel college.

The school has more than 150 staff, and more than 70 volunteer foreign teachers from 10 countries, including the United States, Britain, Canada and Australia, have undertaken the school’s English teaching. Dozens of foreign students come to the school every year to exchange and study. Dr. Sun Wei, dean of Beihang Software Institute, serves as the executive president of the school. Many senior professors of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Tsinghua University and Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics teach at the university.

The school is based on the principle of “zero cost” to complete universities to help poor children in Guizhou and western regions to promote educational equity. The school cooperates with the Bright Angel Foundation of the Red Cross Foundation of China to establish a world-class college of higher education for charitable blind students, which enrolls excellent blind and visually impaired students and waives tuition and fees. The school introduces business people with rich professional work experience and a large number of global caring volunteers [19] to distribute donated laptops to every student enrolled in the fall of 2011.
