福州英华职业学院

福州英华职业学院前身为清末教会创建之“英华书院” ( 俗称“英华斋”
)，至今130多年。先后培养了二十多位科学家与院士，如化工之父侯德榜、数学家陈景润等，他们为现代中国的发展，作出了不可磨灭的贡献。书院还培养了中共福州市委第一任书记方尔灏等革命烈士40余名，政治精英国民党元老、中华民国政府主席林森也曾就读英华书院，书院久负盛名，享誉八闽。

自复办以来，学院在省、市教育有关部门的关心指导下，坚持校企合作，产教融合，深化“工学结合”的教学模式改革，在为海峡西岸经济区建设培养较高职业素质、岗位技术熟练，适应生产、建设、管理、服务第一线需要的技术技能人才道路上取得了可喜的成绩。2001年成为首批普通高等职业学院，更名为“福州英华职业学院”，并纳入了国家统一招生计划;2010年学院顺利通过教育部人才培养工作水平评估;2011年列入福建省非营利公益性高职办学制度改革试点院校;2012年当选为福建省高教学会就业管理与指导专业委员会副理事长单位。学院先后被授予“教育百强学校”、“社会满意学校”、“省诚实守信示范单位”、“福州市高校先进基层党组织”、“平安校园”等荣誉称号。习近平总书记在福建工作期间为我院感慨题词“海外赤子，魂萦八闽”。

学院拥有新老两个校区，占地300多亩。现办学地点位于福州市仓山区城门镇，设有建筑工程系、计算机科学系、经济管理系、英语系、公共基础部等5个教学单位，校内教学、科研、体育运动场所、师生生活设施配套齐全，教学、生活和工作条件良好，各类教学、行政、管理、安全等规章制度健全完善。

Lin Sen, a veteran of the political elite Kuomintang and chairman of the government of the Republic of China, also studied in Yinghua Academy, which has long enjoyed a high reputation.

Since its resumption, under the care and guidance of the relevant provincial and municipal education departments, the college has persisted in the cooperation between schools and enterprises, integrated industry and education, and deepened the reform of the teaching mode of “combination of work and learning”. Gratifying achievements have been made on the road of training high professional quality and post skills for the construction of the economic zone on the west coast of the Taiwan Strait, and to meet the needs of production, construction, management and service. In 2001, it became the first batch of ordinary higher vocational colleges, renamed Fuzhou Yinghua Vocational College, and was incorporated into the national unified enrollment plan; in 2010, the college successfully passed the evaluation of the talent training level of the Ministry of Education; in 2011, it was listed as a pilot college for the reform of the school-running system of non-profit higher vocational colleges in Fujian Province; in 2012, it was elected as the vice chairman of the Professional Committee of Employment Management and guidance of Fujian Institute of higher Education. The college has been awarded the honorary titles of “Top 100 Education School”, “Social satisfaction School”, “Provincial honesty and trustworthiness demonstration Unit”, “Fuzhou University Advanced Grass-roots Party Organization”, “safe Campus” and so on. During his work in Fujian, General Secretary Xi Jinping wrote an inscription for our hospital with emotion: “overseas naked children haunt eight Fujian”.

The college has two new and old campuses, covering an area of more than 300 mu. The school is now located in Chengmen Town, Cangshan District, Fuzhou City, with five teaching units, including the Department of Architectural Engineering, the Department of computer Science, the Department of Economic Management, the Department of English and the Department of Public Basics. the school has complete teaching, scientific research, sports venues, living facilities for teachers and students, good teaching, living and working conditions, and sound and sound rules and regulations for all kinds of teaching, administration, management and safety.
