江苏省邗江中学

江苏省邗江中学始建于1956年，原名“邗江县中学”。1980年被命名为江苏省首批办好的重点中学之一。1999年被省教育厅升格更名为“江苏省邗江中学”，2000年一次性高分通过国家级示范高中省级验收，2004年被转评为江苏省首批四星级高中。2003年经扬州市邗江区人民政府批准，组建江苏省邗江中学(集团)：由公办邗江中学和民办润扬中学组成。润扬中学是邗江中学全额投资兴办、经扬州市教育局批准、江苏省教育厅审核公布的全日制民办中学。江苏省邗江中学(集团)设有高中部、初中部;民族部、艺术部、国际部。地处“联合国人居奖”获得城市、中国历史文化名城扬州，坐落在风景秀丽的蜀岗西峰、瘦西湖畔。学校占地200余亩，建筑面积13万多平方米，网络系统、通讯系统、闭路电视演播系统、广播系统和保安系统等覆盖整个校园。
