西安交通工程学院简介

西安交通工程学院是经国家教育部批准的全日制普通本科院校，创办于1994年。

学院现由西安市户县主校区和西安市高新校区两个校区组成，占地面积626亩;校舍建筑总面积24万平方米。学院建有2.97万平方米的图书馆，馆藏纸质图书51万册，电子图书50万种。

学院师资力量雄厚。聚集了一大批高学历、高职称的优秀教师，目前，学院有教职工600余人，其中专任教师380人，教师队伍中博士、硕士研究生学历占教师总数的近50%，基本形成了博士硕士群。

学院坚持“质量立校，人才强校，特色兴校，文化铸校”，走内涵式发展道路。学科专业设置以工科为主，形成了轨道交通类、电气信息类、经济管理类三大专业群。现开设6个本科专业、24个高职专业。轨道交通类和电气信息类专业特色鲜明、优势突出。现有各类在校学生万余人。

学院已建成通信技术、城市轨道交通运营管理、电气自动化技术、城市轨道交通控制4个省级重点专业，凸显了轨道交通类和电气信息类专业群建设的优势。“城市轨道交通实训基地”、“地铁车辆结构与运用实训基地”分别被确定为“省级高职教育实训基地”和“省级高职示范性实训基地”。学院建设的“教育部-中兴通讯ICT产教融合创新基地”是教育部与中兴通讯在全国30所高校共建的创新应用技术人才培养模式基地之一，是陕西高校中唯一一所基地共建签约学校。2015年学院成功加入“中俄交通大学校长联盟?中国轨道交通应用技术人才培养联盟”，将与俄罗斯等“一带一路”沿线国家交通高校和铁路企业开展人才培养、科学研究、技术服务等方面的合作。同时，学院还在校外企事业单位建设有22个实习实训基地。

学院采取积极措施，为毕业生就业广开渠道，与70余家企业建立了校企合作关系，近几年就业率始终保持在95%以上。毕业生绝大多数已成为单位的业务骨干，涌现出一批“优秀员工”、“行业标兵”、“创业之星”，不少人已担任分公司经理、站长、主管等职务。

Brief introduction of Xi’an Institute of Traffic Engineering

Xi’an Institute of Traffic Engineering is a full-time undergraduate university approved by the Ministry of Education. It was founded in 1994.

The college is now composed of two campuses: the main campus of Hu County in Xi’an and the high-tech campus of Xi’an, covering an area of 626mu with a total building area of 240000 square meters. The college has a library of 29700 square meters, with a collection of 510000 paper books and 500000 e-books.

The faculty of the college is strong. A large number of excellent teachers with high academic qualifications and high professional titles have been gathered. At present, the college has more than 600 teaching staff, including 380 full-time teachers. Doctoral and postgraduate degrees account for nearly 50% of the total number of teachers, basically forming a doctoral and master group.

The college adheres to the “quality school, strong talent school, characteristic school, cultural casting school”, and takes the road of connotative development. The disciplines are mainly set up in engineering, forming three major groups: rail transit, electrical information and economic management. Now there are 6 undergraduate majors and 24 higher vocational majors. Rail transit and electrical information specialties have distinctive features and outstanding advantages. There are more than ten thousand students in all kinds of schools.

The college has established four provincial key majors: communication technology, urban rail transit operation and management, electrical automation technology and urban rail transit control, highlighting the advantages of rail transit and electrical information specialty group construction. “Urban Rail Transit training Base” and “Metro vehicle structure and Application training Base” are identified as “provincial higher vocational education training base” and “provincial higher vocational demonstration training base” respectively. The “Ministry of Education-ZTE ICT Industry-Education Integration Innovation Base” built by the College is one of the innovative applied technology personnel training mode bases jointly built by the Ministry of Education and ZTE in 30 universities across the country, and it is the only one of Shaanxi colleges and universities to jointly build a contracted school. In 2015, the college successfully joined the Alliance of Presidents of China-Russia Jiaotong University? The China Rail Transit Applied Technical personnel training Alliance will carry out cooperation in personnel training, scientific research and technical services with transportation universities and railway enterprises in Russia and other countries along the Belt and Road Initiative route. At the same time, the college also has 22 internship and training bases in off-campus enterprises and institutions.

The college has taken positive measures to open up a wide range of employment channels for graduates and has established cooperative relations between universities and enterprises with more than 70 enterprises, and the employment rate has remained above 95% in recent years. The vast majority of graduates have become the business backbone of the unit, and a number of “excellent employees”, “industry pacesetters” and “entrepreneurial stars” have emerged, and many of them have served as branch managers, stationmasters, supervisors, and other positions.
