中央社会主义学院

学校简介

中央社会主义学院是中国共产党创办并领导的统一战线性质的高等政治学院，是民主党派和无党派人士的联合党校，是党和国家干部教育培训体系的重要组成部分，在党外代表人士教育培训工作中发挥着主渠道、主阵地的重要作用。

学院创建于1956年10月，迄今已经走过了五十多年的光辉历程。这所承载着中共中央领导集体深切寄托和各界非中共人士亲切期望的高等政治学院，是中国共产党领导的多党合作和政治协商制度的生动体现。

毛泽东亲自为学院确定了名称，周恩来审定并批准了学院的建设方案。在改革开放后统一战线工作全面拓展之际，邓小平又为学院亲笔题写了校名，江泽民为学院题写了“爱国、团结、民主、求实”的八字校风。

2006年，胡锦涛同志在为中央社会主义学院建院50周年发来的贺信中指出：“希望你们坚持以邓小平理论和‘三个代表’重要思想为指导，全面贯彻落实科学发展观，继承和发扬优良传统，进一步探索办学规律，不断提高教学和科研水平，充分发挥学院作为统一战线的人才培养基地、理论研究基地、方针政策宣传基地的作用，为开创新世纪新阶段统一战线工作新局面，为实现全面建设小康社会宏伟目标和中华民族伟大复兴作出新的更大的贡献。”

1997年初，经上级批准，成立了中华文化学院，与中央社会主义学院是“一套机构，两块牌子”，主要通过弘扬中华文化和介绍中国国情来开展面向港澳台同胞和海外华人华侨的文化交流活动，促进实现祖国完全统一和中华民族的大团结、大融合。

Brief introduction of the school

The Central Institute of Socialism is a United front higher political college founded and led by the Communist Party of China, a joint party school of democratic parties and personages without party affiliation, and an important part of the education and training system for cadres of the party and the state. The college was founded in October 1956 and has gone through a glorious course of more than 50 years. This higher political college, which bears the deep trust of the leading collective of the CPC Central Committee and the cordial expectations of non-CPC members from all walks of life, is a vivid embodiment of the system of multi-party cooperation and political consultation under the leadership of the CPC.

Mao Zedong personally determined the name of the college, and Zhou Enlai examined and approved the construction plan of the college. At a time when the United front work was comprehensively expanded after reform and opening up, Deng Xiaoping personally wrote the name of the college, and Jiang Zemin wrote the school spirit of “patriotism, unity, democracy, and seeking truth” for the college.

In 2006, in his congratulatory letter for the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Central Institute of Socialism, Comrade Hu Jintao pointed out: “I hope you will adhere to Deng Xiaoping Theory and the important thought of ‘three represents’ as the guidance, comprehensively implement the scientific concept of development, inherit and carry forward the fine traditions, further explore the laws of running a school, and constantly improve the level of teaching and scientific research. Give full play to the role of the college as a talent training base, theoretical research base, and principle and policy propaganda base for the United front, in order to create a new situation in United front work in the new century and new stage, to make new and greater contributions to the grand goal of building a well-off society in an all-round way and to the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. ”

In early 1997, with the approval of the higher authorities, the Institute of Chinese Culture was established, and the Central Institute of Socialism and the Central Institute of Socialism are “one set of institutions, two brands.” mainly by carrying out cultural exchange activities for compatriots in Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan and overseas Chinese and overseas Chinese by carrying forward Chinese culture and introducing China’s national conditions, so as to promote the complete reunification of the motherland and the great unity and integration of the Chinese nation.
