安徽大学简介

江淮学院是经教育部批准，由安徽大学主办，纳入第三批本科录取的全日制普通高等教育本科院校。学院办学的指导思想是：充分发挥安徽大学的办学优势和民营机制的办学活力，坚持“夯实基础、科学管理、确保优质教育”的指导方针，逐步把学院建设成特色鲜明的应用型本科院校。

学院坐落于国家四大科教基地之一的合肥，占地面积约720亩，分为龙河校区(合肥市肥西路3号)和史河校区(合肥市史河路8号)，合肥十景之一“五里飞虹”横跨学院两个校区。其中，拥有50多年文化底蕴的龙河校区为主校区，校园幽静典雅、景色怡人，自然景观与人文景观水乳相融。学院拥有现代化的多媒体教室、语音室、实验室、计算机房、学术报告厅、图书馆、体育馆和配有宽带的学生宿舍，完善的教学和生活设施为学生提供了优越的学习、生活环境。

学院围绕社会发展需求，不断优化专业结构。申请获批31个专业，涵盖经济学、理学、工学、文学、管理学、法学、艺术学七个学科门类，逐步建立起以应用性学科为主、多学科协调发展的专业体系。为了适应高等教育发展形势和社会发展需要，学院不断深化教学改革，制定了“3+1”教学计划，建立了个性化培养模式：前三年完成基础知识学习，最后一年让学生自我设计，进行个性化培养。对于准备考研的同学，开设英语强化班、专业知识提高班等辅导课程，并采取一系列激励措施，帮助同学们考研;对于准备就业的同学，将专业技能培训、资格认证与培养方案关联，制定“毕业证+学位证+技能证”三位一体的培养计划，开设资格证书培训班，增加实践实习课，在院内创建大学生创业实践基地，并与多家企事业单位签订实践实习和就业创业协议，以提高学生的就业竞争力和社会适应能力;对于有出国意向的同学，学院积极组织出国夏令营、出国学习交换生，与美国、英国等国的多所学校签订合作谅解备忘录。

学院不仅注意对学生的专业培养，而且十分注重提高学生的道德修养。我们感到，现在学生缺少的不是智力而是智慧、不是智商而是情商。因此，我们提出“加强情商教育、优化育人环境”的办学理念。将情商教育融入管理之中、教学之中，在师生员工中传递关爱之心、慈善之心，在全院上下强调以能力为本代替权力至上，权力使用要公正合法、利益分配要公平合理，使学生在温馨和谐的校园里，愉快学习、幸福生活、和谐发展、成长成才。

近年来，学院取得了一系列成绩：英语专业全国英语专业四级(TEM4)通过率常年保持在75%左右，高于全国独立学院37个百分点;近四年来，我院在全国和省级大学生英语竞赛、数学建模竞赛、电子设计竞赛、职业生涯规划大赛等多项竞赛中获奖100余项;每年考研录取率均在10%左右;由于学生资助工作成绩突出，自2008年安徽省实施民生工程考核以来，我院有三次荣获“民生工程高校学生资助工作考核优秀单位”荣誉称号;培养的毕业生深受社会欢迎，每年都保持很高的就业率，在全省独立学院中，我院是唯一一所在2009、2010、2011三年连续获得“安徽省高等学校毕业生就业工作先进集体”荣誉称号;2012年获得“安徽省高等学校毕业生就业工作标兵单位”

Brief introduction of Anhui University

Jianghuai College is approved by the Ministry of Education and sponsored by Anhui University, which is included in the third batch of full-time colleges of general higher education. The guiding ideology of running the college is to give full play to the advantages of Anhui University and the vitality of the private mechanism, and to adhere to the guiding principle of “laying a solid foundation, scientific management, and ensuring high-quality education”. Gradually build the college into an applied undergraduate university with distinctive characteristics.

The college is located in Hefei, one of the four national science and education bases, covering an area of about 720 mu. It is divided into Longhe Campus (No. 3, West Fei Road, Hefei) and Shihe Campus (No. 8 Shihe Road, Hefei). One of the ten sceneries of Hefei, “Wuli Feihong”, spans two campuses of the college. Among them, the Longhe campus, which has a cultural heritage of more than 50 years, is the main campus, the campus is quiet and elegant, the scenery is pleasant, and the natural landscape is in harmony with the cultural landscape. The college has modern multimedia classrooms, language labs, laboratories, computer rooms, academic lecture halls, libraries, gymnasiums and student dormitories equipped with broadband. Perfect teaching and living facilities provide students with a superior learning and living environment.

Centering on the needs of social development, the college continues to optimize its professional structure. The application was approved for 31 majors, covering seven disciplines: economics, science, engineering, literature, management, law and art, and gradually established a professional system based on applied disciplines and coordinated development of multi-disciplines. In order to meet the needs of the development of higher education and society, the college has continuously deepened the teaching reform, formulated the “31st” teaching plan, and established a personalized training model: the study of basic knowledge has been completed in the first three years, and students are asked to design themselves in the last year to carry out personalized training. For students preparing for the postgraduate entrance examination, set up tutoring courses such as intensive English classes and professional knowledge improvement classes, and take a series of incentive measures to help students take the postgraduate entrance examination. For students preparing for employment, associate professional skills training and qualification certification with training programs, formulate a trinity training plan of “diploma + degree certificate + skill certificate”, set up qualification certificate training courses, and increase practical courses. College students’ entrepreneurial practice base is established in the hospital, and practical internships and employment and entrepreneurship agreements are signed with a number of enterprises and institutions, so as to improve students’ employment competitiveness and social adaptability. For students who intend to go abroad, the college actively organizes summer camps and exchange students to study abroad, and signs memorandums of understanding on cooperation with many schools in the United States, the United Kingdom and other countries.

The college not only pays attention to the professional training of students, but also attaches great importance to improving students’ moral cultivation. We feel that what students lack now is not intelligence but wisdom, not IQ but EQ. Therefore, we put forward the idea of “strengthening EQ education and optimizing the educational environment”. Integrate EQ education into management and teaching, convey love and charity among teachers, students and staff, and emphasize ability-oriented instead of power supremacy, fair and legal use of power, fair and reasonable distribution of interests, so that students can study happily, live happily, develop harmoniously and grow up in a warm and harmonious campus.

In recent years, the college has made a series of achievements: the passing rate of TEM4 for English majors has been maintained at about 75% all the year round, which is 37% higher than that of national independent colleges; in the past four years, our college has won more than 100 prizes in national and provincial college English competitions, mathematical modeling competitions, electronic design competitions, career planning competitions and other competitions; the annual admission rate of postgraduate entrance examination is about 10%. Due to the outstanding achievements in student financial aid work, since the implementation of the people’s livelihood Project examination in Anhui Province in 2008, our college has been awarded the honorary title of “Outstanding Unit for the examination of Student Financial Assistance work in Colleges and Universities of people’s livelihood Engineering” three times. The graduates trained are well received by the society and maintain a high employment rate every year. Among the independent colleges in the province, our college is the only one that has won the honorary title of “Advanced Collective for Employment of graduates of Colleges and Universities of Anhui Province” in 2009, 2010 and 2011, and “Model Unit for Employment of graduates of Colleges and Universities of Anhui Province” in 2012.
