广州图书馆

广州图书馆是由广州市政府设立、为所有公众服务的公益性公共文化与社会教育机构，以纸质文献、音像制品、数字资源等各类知识信息记录的收集、整理和存储为基础，提供资源借阅与传递、信息咨询、展览讲座、艺术鉴赏、文化展示和数字化网络服务及公众学习、研究、交流空间，开展社会阅读推广活动。

广州图书馆新馆坐落于珠江边上、广州城市新中轴线和珠江景观轴线交汇处的花城广场。花城广场是广州市政府着力打造的“城市客厅”，而广州图书馆正是这“城市客厅”的文化窗口。新馆以“美丽书籍”为设计理念，依托城市新中轴线景观，采取东西走向、南北塔楼、独特的“之”字优雅体造型，突出层叠的建筑肌理，寓意书籍的重叠和历史文化的沉积，同时融入骑楼等文化元素，体现了岭南建筑艺术特色。

总建筑面积10万平方米，广州图书馆总馆藏658万册(件)，阅览座位4000个，供读者使用的计算机数量500台，有线网络节点4000个，无线网络覆盖范围100%。实现藏、借、阅、咨一体化;全面应用无线射频识别技术(
RFID
)、文献自动分拣系统、自助服务设备，实现高效精确的典藏管理与便捷服务;设置综合服务区、大众服务区、对象服务区、主题服务区、交流服务区、藏书区等功能区域，具有鲜明时代风格和浓郁岭南人文蕴涵。

The new Guangzhou Library is located in Huacheng Square on the edge of the Pearl River and at the confluence of the new central axis of Guangzhou and the landscape axis of the Pearl River. Huacheng Square is the “city living room” created by the Guangzhou municipal government, and the Guangzhou Library is the cultural window of this “city living room”. The new museum takes “beautiful books” as the design concept, relies on the landscape of the city’s new central axis, adopts east-west direction, north-south towers, and unique elegant style of the word “Zhi”, highlighting the layered architectural texture, implying the overlap of books and the deposition of history and culture. at the same time, it integrates cultural elements such as arcades, reflecting the artistic characteristics of Lingnan architecture.

With a total construction area of 100000 square meters, the Guangzhou Library has a total collection of 6.58 million volumes (pieces), 4000 reading seats, 4000 computers for readers, 4000 wired network nodes and 100% wireless network coverage. Realize the integration of hiding, borrowing, reading and consultation; fully apply radio frequency identification technology (

), automatic document sorting system and self-service equipment to achieve efficient and accurate collection management and convenient services; set up functional areas such as integrated service area, public service area, object service area, theme service area, exchange service area, book collection area, etc., with distinct style of the times and strong Lingnan cultural implication.
