宁夏师范学院

　　宁夏师范学院坐落于宁夏南部六盘山下历史名城——固原市，是宁夏唯一一所师范类本科院校。学校隶属自治区人民政府管理，是自治区教育厅和固原市政府共建单位。

　　学校前身为1975年经自治区党委批准建立的六盘山大学，全国政协原副主席、时任固原地委副书记胡启立先生任六盘山大学筹备小组组长、党的核心小组组长。1978年经国务院批准在六盘山大学基础上建立宁夏固原师范专科学校，1993年更名为固原师范高等专科学校，2006年2月经教育部批准更名为宁夏师范学院，升格为本科院校。2012年11月获教育硕士专业学位研究生培养资格，2013年5月成为宁夏首所师范生免费教育试点学校。学校先后2次被国务院授予“全国民族团结进步模范集体”称号，被原国家教委授予“全国民族教育先进集体”称号，被自治区党委、政府评为“全区民族团结进步模范集体”，是国家语言文字委员会授予的首批国家级语言文字规范化示范学校，是自治区级“文明单位”“依法治理示范单位”和第四届“全国文明单位”。

　　建校40年来，学校深深根植于“西海固”这片热土，以服务民族地区、贫困地区基础教育和区域经济社会发展为己任，几代宁师人恪尽职守，风雨兼程，诲人不倦，薪火相传，始终发扬“艰苦奋斗、自强不息”的办学传统，秉承“学高为师、身正为范”的校训，倡导“勤奋、求是、创新、奉献”的校风，“敬业爱生、博学力行”的教风和“勤学善思、知行合一”的学风，为宁夏及周边地区累计培养各类人才26898人，其中中小学师资18538人，被胡启立先生誉为“六盘山下人才基地，宁南山区教师摇篮。”

　　学校现有两个校区，总占地面积928000平方米，总校舍建筑面积177877平方米。教职工515人，其中专任教师373人，教授、副教授155人，占专任教师总数的41.55%，有博士16人，硕士245人，硕士及以上学位的教师占专任教师总数的69%。有首届国家“百千万人才工程”一、二层次人选1人，全国五一劳动奖章获得者1人，全国模范教师2人，全国师德先进个人1人，全国先进工作者1人，全国高等学校优秀骨干教师1人，教育部“新世纪优秀人才支持计划”1人，2人获国务院特殊津贴，2人获自治区政府特殊津贴，3人入选自治区“313”人才工程，4人被评为自治区级教学名师，2人被评为“自治区优秀教师”，5人获自治区“9·10”奖章，1人被评为“六盘英才”。学校面向全国招生，有全日制在校生6019人，其中专业硕士研究生45人，本科生5864人，少数民族预科学生110人。有成人高等学历教育在籍学生3493人。

　　学校设有12个教学单位和网络管理中心、教师教育实训中心等直属单位。有教育硕士语文、数学、英语、思想政治、物理、化学、小学教育7个学科方向研究生培养点，有教育学、文学、历史学、理学、工学、艺术学、法学、管理学8个学科门类26个本科专业。有国家级实验教学示范中心1个，国家级特色专业建设点1个，国家级本科专业综合改革试点专业1个，国家级大学生创新创业训练计划项目3个，自治区级重点学科3个，校级重点学科6个，校级工程(研究)中心6个。2006年以来，获立自治区级本科教学工程项目154项，获立国家自然科学基金、国家社会科学基金以及省部级等科研项目248项，发表学术论文3239篇，出版专著(教材)87部。图书馆馆藏纸质图书55.65万册，电子图书50万种，现刊655种。《宁夏师范学院学报》面向全国公开发行，是首届全国“百强”社科学报。

　　学校积极开展对外交流合作，与宁夏大学实现联合办学，同东北师范大学、曲阜师范大学、西安音乐学院、西北师范大学、青海大学和斯里兰卡东南大学、印度沙迪大学、英国东泰晤士学院、韩国又松大学等国内外高校有良好的交流合作关系，同湖北大学建立了对口支援关系。有国内首家“中国外语教学行动研究实验中心”，开辟了我国外语教学行动研究与实践的新领域。

　　今后一个时期，学校将大力实施“质量立校、人才强校、科研兴校、特色名校、文化荣校”战略，坚定不移走科学发展、内涵发展、特色发展之路，立足宁夏、面向西部、辐射周边，服务基层、服务基础教育、服务区域经济社会，努力把学校建成师范性、地方性、民族性特色鲜明，多学科协调发展、西部地区知名的教学型师范院校。

Ningxia normal University is located in Guyuan, a famous historical city at the foot of Liupan Mountain in southern Ningxia. It is the only normal undergraduate university in Ningxia. The school is under the management of the people’s Government of the Autonomous region and is a joint construction unit of the Education Department of the Autonomous region and the Guyuan Municipal Government.

The school, formerly known as Liupanshan University, was established with the approval of the Party Committee of the Autonomous region in 1975. Mr. Hu Qili, former Vice Chairman of the CPPCC National Committee and then Deputy Secretary of the Guyuan Prefectural Committee, served as the leader of the preparatory group and the core group of the Party of Liupanshan University. Ningxia Guyuan normal College was established on the basis of Liupanshan University in 1978 with the approval of the State Council, changed its name to Guyuan normal College in 1993, and changed its name to Ningxia normal College with the approval of the Ministry of Education in February 2006. He was qualified for a master’s degree in education in November 2012 and became the first pilot school for free education for normal students in Ningxia in May 2013. The school has twice been awarded the title of “National Model Collective of National ethnic Unity and Progress” by the State Council, and the title of “National Advanced Collective of ethnic Education” by the former State Education Committee. it is rated as “the model collective of ethnic unity and progress of the whole region” by the party committee and government of the autonomous region. It is the first batch of national language standardization demonstration schools awarded by the State language Commission. It is the autonomous region-level “civilized unit”, “legal governance demonstration unit” and the fourth “national civilized unit”.

Since its establishment 40 years ago, the school has been deeply rooted in the hot land of “Xihaigu”. It is its duty to serve ethnic minority areas, basic education in poor areas and regional economic and social development. Several generations of Ningshi people scrupulously perform their duties, go through both wind and rain, teach others tirelessly, and carry forward the tradition of “hard work and continuous self-improvement”, adhering to the school motto of “learning high as a teacher and being a model”. Advocating the school spirit of “diligence, seeking truth, innovation and dedication”, the teaching style of “respecting work and loving students, being knowledgeable and practicing” and the study style of “diligence, thinking, knowledge and practice” have trained a total of 26898 talents for Ningxia and its surrounding areas. among them, 18538 primary and secondary school teachers are praised by Mr. Hu Qili as “the talent base under Liupan Mountain and the cradle of teachers in the mountainous area of southern Ningxia.”

The school has two campuses, covering a total area of 928000 square meters and a total school building area of 177877 square meters. There are 515 faculty members, including 373 full-time teachers, 155 professors and associate professors, accounting for 41.55% of the total number of full-time teachers, including 16 doctors and 245 masters, and teachers with master’s degrees or above account for 69% of the total number of full-time teachers. There are 1 candidate for the first national “10 million Talent Project”, 1 winner of the National May 1 Labor Medal, 2 national model teachers, 1 national advanced teacher ethics, 1 national advanced worker, 1 excellent backbone teacher of the national institution of higher learning, 1 person of the Ministry of Education’s “Outstanding talents support Program for the New Century”, 2 people received the special subsidy of the State Council, and 2 people received the special allowance of the regional government. Three people were selected into the “313” talent project of the autonomous region, four were awarded as famous teachers at the autonomous region level, two as “excellent teachers of the autonomous region”, five as the “9.10” medal of the autonomous region, and one as the “six sets of talents”. The school enrolls students across the country, with 6019 full-time students, including 45 professional postgraduates, 5864 undergraduates and 110minority preparatory students. There are 3493 adult students with higher academic qualifications.

The school has 12 teaching units and network management centers, teacher education and training centers and other directly subordinate units. There are graduate training points for master of education in Chinese, mathematics, English, ideological and political science, physics, chemistry and primary education. There are 26 undergraduate majors in 8 disciplines, including pedagogy, literature, history, science, engineering, art, law and management. There are 1 national experimental teaching demonstration center, 1 national characteristic specialty construction center, 1 national undergraduate specialty comprehensive reform pilot major, 3 national college students’ innovation and entrepreneurship training programs, and 3 autonomous district-level key disciplines. there are 6 school-level key disciplines and 6 school-level engineering (research) centers. Since 2006, it has won 154undergraduate teaching engineering projects at the autonomous region level, 248scientific research projects at the national natural science fund, national social science fund and provincial and ministerial level, published 3239 academic papers and 87 monographs (teaching materials). The library has 556500 paper books, 500000 e-books and 655 current periodicals. The Journal of Ningxia normal University is published to the whole country and is the first top 100 social science journal in China.

The school actively carries out foreign exchanges and cooperation with Ningxia University, and has good exchanges and cooperation with Northeast normal University, Qufu normal University, Xi’an Conservatory of Music, Northwest normal University, Qinghai University and Southeast University of Sri Lanka, Shadi University of India, East Thames College of the United Kingdom, and Yosong University of South Korea, and has established counterpart support relations with Hubei University. There is the first Chinese Foreign language Teaching Action Research Experimental Center in China, which has opened up a new field of action research and practice in foreign language teaching in China.

For some time in the future, the school will vigorously implement the strategy of “establishing schools with quality, strengthening schools with talents, invigorating schools through scientific research, famous schools with characteristics and honoring schools with culture”, and unswervingly follow the road of scientific development, connotation development and characteristic development. based on Ningxia, facing the west, radiating the periphery, serving the grass-roots level, basic education and regional economy and society, we will strive to build the school into a normal, local and national characteristic.
