福州理工学院是经教育部批准成立的一所民办普通本科高校,学校致力于建设产业特色鲜明的高水平应用技术大学,建成培养厚德博学、知行合一、信息技术应用能力和工程实践能力兼备的一线工程师的摇篮。学校被福建省确定为本科高校向应用型转变整体转型试点校。根据办学定位,学校着力培养具有工匠精神的一线工程师、具有创新能力的“互联网+”一线工程师、具有产业全局视野的“全链条”一线工程师。

学科专业:

学校面向中国(福建)自由贸易实验区和21世纪海上丝绸之路核心区建设发展的重大战略需求,开设39个本专科专业,涵盖工学、管理学、经济学、艺术学等学科门类,其中工学与管理学为主要学科。不断完善电子信息、土木工程、经济管理、艺术等4大专业链,整合专业教育资源,推进学科交叉与融合,培育新的交叉性、融合性专业增长点,形成与区域经济和产业结构相适应的专业格局。到2020年,形成40个左右的本科专业和若干有特色的专业方向。建设省级重点学科1-2个,校级重点学科4-5个。现设有电子工程学院、计算机科学与技术学院、土木与环境工程学院、经济管理学院、传媒艺术学院(筹)、基础教学部、思想政治理论课教研部和继续教育学院等8个二级教学单位,在校生6488人。

师资力量:

学校建立了一支以工为主、行业特色鲜明的师资队伍。现有专任教师360人,高级职称的教师144人,其中正高级43人,副高级101人;具有硕士研究生以上学历的教师182人。到2020年,学校计划再引进和培养具有副高以上职称的专任教师50人,其中30%以上具有企业和高校双重工作经历;引进有博士学位的专任教师20人,有海外留学、工作和访学经历的高层次人才10人。

人才培养:

学校着眼于人才培养适应新经济、新动能转换需求,建立和完善适应传统动能转型要求的产业人才培养机制,根据传统产业创新发展的新要求、新特点开发课程体系,加大对生产、管理过程重点环节技术技能的“螺旋上升式”实践教学,培养富有精益求精的工匠精神的一线工程师。建立和完善“互联网+”产业人才培养的机制,以物联网、云计算为基础,将下一代信息技术渗透到传统专业,建设跨学科的应用型专业群,培养创新能力强、跨界融合的“互联网+”一线工程师。将生产性工程实践与智能制造相结合,引进企业个性化定制、柔性化生产的智能制造中试线、生产线,培养具有产业全局视野,熟悉产业链从研发、设计、生产、销售到服务“全链条”的一线工程师。

Discipline and major:

To meet the major strategic needs of the construction and development of the Free Trade Experimental Zone of China (Fujian) and the core area of the Maritime Silk Road in the 21st century, the school has set up 39 undergraduate majors, covering engineering, management, economics, art and other disciplines. Engineering and management are the main disciplines. We will constantly improve the four major chains of electronic information, civil engineering, economic management and art, integrate professional education resources, promote the intersection and integration of disciplines, and cultivate new cross and integrated professional growth points. to form a professional pattern suited to the regional economy and industrial structure. By 2020, about 40 undergraduate majors and a number of distinctive professional directions will be formed. We will build 1-2 provincial key disciplines and 4-5 school-level key disciplines. At present, there are eight second-level teaching units, such as the School of Electronic Engineering, the School of computer Science and Technology, the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering, the School of Economics and Management, the School of Media Arts (chips), the basic Teaching Department, the Department of ideological and political Theory and continuing Education. 6488 students are enrolled.

Faculty strength:

The school has established a team of teachers with industry-oriented and distinctive industry characteristics. At present, there are 360 full-time teachers and 144 senior teachers, including 43 senior teachers and 101 deputy senior teachers, and 182 teachers with master’s degree or above.
