西南财经大学介绍

西南财经大学(Southwestern University of Finance and
Economics)，简称“西财或西南财大(SWUFE)”，位于四川省成都市，是教育部直属的全国重点大学，国家首批“211工程”大学之一，国家“985工程优势学科创新平台”重点建设高校。

师资队伍

截至2013年，学校共有专任教师1231人，有教授189人、副教授342人，博士生导师252人。教师中有“国家教学名师”奖获得者2人，国家“青年拔尖人才支持计划”入选人选2人，享受国务院政府特殊津贴专家35人，教育部“长江学者”讲座教授4人、“长江学者”特聘教授1人，人事部“百千万人才工程”入选人选5人，教育部“新世纪优秀人才支持计划”入选人选29人，全国会计领军人才入选6人，教育部霍英东优秀青年教师奖及资助计划获得者13人，四川省学术和技术带头人24人，四川省学术和技术带头人后备人选30人，四川省有突出贡献的优秀专家23人。

学术交流

学校是西部地区经济与管理科学的国内外学术交流中心，每年都要举办和承办具有重大影响力的学术研讨会，比如一年一度
“中国金融论坛”、“海峡两岸会计、统计、金融学术研讨会”、“中德货币政策研讨会”、“香港经济学年会”、“美国国民经济研究局(NBER)中国研讨会”等重要的大型学术会议。

Southwest University of Finance and Economics (Southwestern University of Finance and

Economics), abbreviated as “Xicai or Southwest Finance University (SWUFE)”, located in Chengdu City, Sichuan Province, is one of the national key universities directly under the Ministry of Education.

Teaching staff

As of 2013, the school has 1231 full-time teachers, including 189professors, 342associate professors and 252doctoral supervisors. Among the teachers, there are 2 winners of the “National famous Teachers” Award, 2 candidates for the National Top Young Talent support Program, and 35 experts who enjoy the special subsidy of the State Council. There are 4 chair professors of “Yangtze River Scholars” of the Ministry of Education, 1 specially appointed professor of “Yangtze River Scholars”, 5 candidates of “10 million Talent Project” of the Ministry of personnel, and 29 candidates of the “Outstanding talents support Program of the New Century” of the Ministry of Education. Six national accounting leaders were selected, 13 winners of the Fok Ying Tung Outstanding Young teacher Award and funding Program of the Ministry of Education, 24 academic and technological leaders in Sichuan Province, and 30 reserve candidates for academic and technological leaders in Sichuan Province. There are 23 outstanding experts with outstanding contributions in Sichuan Province.

Academic exchange

The school is a domestic and foreign academic exchange center for economic and management science in the western region. it holds and undertakes influential academic seminars every year, such as the annual one.

Important large-scale academic conferences such as the China Financial Forum, the Cross-Strait Symposium on Accounting, Statistics and Finance, the Sino-German Seminar on Monetary Policy, the Annual meeting of Hong Kong Economics, and the NBER China Seminar.
