上海博世汽车职业技术培训学校作为上海市交通学校的分校，在国家级重点院校上海交通职业技术学院、上海市交通学校的支持与领导下，专业为社会提供汽车技术培训平台，多年办学以来，一直遵循“专一、专注、专业”汽车服务行业专业技术培训，为蓬勃发展的中国汽车行业提供更优秀的高知识高技术复合型人才。倾力打造的一所中国大型汽车技术培训学校。

学校成立于1960年，是全日制国家级重点中专学校。55年来，学校背靠行业，面向社会，形成了职前职后并举，中、高职接轨的教育体系，培养了近数万毕业生，社会培训了数万名职业技能人才，覆盖交通运输、汽车维修、汽车销售、汽车美容装潢、汽车钣金喷漆专业人才。

学校共有专任教师200余名，中高级职称85%以上，其中高级职称27人，“双师型”教师47人。学校教学设施先进，实验设备精良，拥有全市一流的汽车实训中心。

学校是全国汽车运用与维修专业紧缺人才培训基地、保时捷中国培训学院合作学校，丰田汽车有限公司中国T-TEP样板学校、上海大众校企合作实训中心、上海通用校企合作实训中心、北京奔驰校企合作实训中心。作为上海市“星光计划”汽车类项目竞赛赛场，学校成功承办了2005和2007年“星光计划”比赛。学校被誉为“培养交通人才的摇篮，学习汽车技术的基地”。 先后被评为“上海市文明单位”、“上海市职业教育先进单位”，2004年通过了2000版ISO9001质量体系转版认证。
