鄂州职业大学创建于1984年，是经教育部批准的公办全日制普通高等职业院校。学校坐落于武昌鱼故乡，吴王古都鄂州市中心城区莲花山，依山傍水，叠峦耸翠，环境优美。

院系设置

学校设有商学院、建筑工程学院、机械工程学院、医学院、电子电气工程系、计算机系、管理学院、外语系、艺术与传媒学院、社科部、体育系、中职学院
共12个院(系、部)，2013年招生专业46个。

师资力量

学校有专任教师685人，其中，具有硕士及以上学位教师301人，占教师比例为43.9%;具有高级专业技术职务的教师246人(其中三级教授6人)，占教师比例为35.9%。建成837人的兼职教师资源库。楚天技能名师14人，教学名师10人，专业双带头人37人(校内20人，校外17人)，骨干教师283人，占专任教师比41.3%;“双师”素质教师617人，占专任教师比达到90.1%。

教学建设

学校建有2个中央财政支持建设实训基地(中心);建有3个湖北省职业教育实训基地(中心);建有112个校内实训室;签有合作共建协议的校外顶岗实习基地289个;建成2个央财支持社会服务能力提升重点专业、7个湖北省重点专业、2个湖北省战略支柱(新兴)产业人才培养计划专业;建有国家精品资源共享课1门，国家精品课程及省级精品课程共计8门，省级精品资源共享课1门，湖北省高等学校教学团队2个。近三年获省级教学成果一等奖1项，二等奖1项，三等奖3项。

对外交流

学校还与美国林肯大学、澳大利亚南澳大学等联合办学，在校生、毕业生可在相关学校继续攻读所设置的课程，符合条件者可获相应学校相关专业的学位。学校与南澳大学等高校建立了稳定友好的合作关系，每年互派留学生，互派访问学者进行学术交流。

Ezhou Vocational University, founded in 1984, is a public full-time higher vocational college approved by the Ministry of Education. The school is located in the hometown of Wuchang fish, the ancient capital of Wu Ezhou City, the central city of Lianhua Mountain, leaning on mountains and water, stacked verdant, beautiful environment.

College and department setting

The school consists of Business School, School of Architectural Engineering, School of Mechanical Engineering, Medical College, Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering, Department of computer Science, School of Management, Department of Foreign languages, School of Arts and Media, Department of Social Science, Department of physical Education, Secondary Vocational College

There are 12 colleges (departments, departments), with 46 enrollment majors in 2013.

Teachers’ strength

The school has 685 full-time teachers, including 301 teachers with master’s degrees or above, accounting for 43.9% of teachers, and 246 teachers with senior professional and technical positions (including 6 third-level professors), accounting for 35.9% of teachers. Teaching construction

The school has two central financial support for the construction of training bases (centers), three vocational education training bases (centers) in Hubei Province, 112 on-campus training rooms, 289 off-campus internship bases with cooperation and co-construction agreements, and two key specialties in supporting social service capacity enhancement, seven key specialties in Hubei Province and two talents training programs in strategic pillar (emerging) industries in Hubei Province. There are 1 national high-quality resource sharing course, 8 national high-quality courses and provincial high-quality courses, 1 provincial high-quality resource sharing course, and 2 teaching teams of colleges and universities in Hubei Province. In the past three years, he has won 1 provincial first prize for teaching achievement, 1 second prize and 3 third prize.

Foreign exchange

The school also runs jointly with the University of Lincoln in the United States and the University of South Australia in Australia. Students and graduates can continue to study the courses offered in the relevant schools, and those who meet the requirements can obtain degrees in related majors from the corresponding schools. The school has established a stable and friendly cooperative relationship with the University of South Australia and other universities, sending foreign students and visiting scholars to carry out academic exchanges every year.
