四川大学华西医学院

四川大学华西临床医学院/华西医院已成为学科门类齐全、师资力量雄厚、医疗技术精湛、诊疗设备先进、科研实力强大的综合性研究型临床医学院及教学医院;1990年被卫生部评定为三级甲等医院。是中国高等医学教育重要基地，西南地区疑难重症诊疗中心、医学科学研究中心，国家循证医学中心，国家新药、中药安全性评价中心。

师资力量

华西地灵人杰、精英荟萃;有高级职称专家400余人，其中973计划首席科学家、中国科学院院士1名，长江学者5名，自然科学基金杰出青年11名，中国名医百强榜百强名医1名，全国教学名师1名，博士研究生导师89名，硕士研究生导师257名。医学教育设立了五个专业，在院学生4000余人，其中博士、硕士研究生数量超过本科生数量。

学科专业

长期以来，华西临床医学院在医学教育方面始终坚持“精英、精致、精品”的教育思想，保持重视临床实践能力培养的传统，一代代华西学子在医学界创下了良好的声誉。现在，学院设有临床医学博士后流动站，是国家临床医学一级学科博士授权单位，有博士点29个，硕士点覆盖所有学科及其亚专业。

West China Clinical Medical College / West China Hospital of Sichuan University has become a comprehensive research clinical medical college and teaching hospital with complete disciplines, strong teachers, superb medical technology, advanced diagnosis and treatment equipment and strong scientific research strength. It was evaluated as Grade 3A Hospital by the Ministry of Health in 1990. It is an important base of higher medical education in China, a difficult and severe diagnosis and treatment center in southwest China, a medical scientific research center, a national evidence-based medicine center, and a national safety evaluation center for new drugs and traditional Chinese medicine.

Teachers’ strength

There are more than 400 experts with senior professional titles, including 1 chief scientist of the 973 program, 1 academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, 5 scholars of the Yangtze River, 11 outstanding young people of the Natural Science Foundation, 1 of the top 100 famous doctors in China, 1 national teacher, 89 doctoral supervisors and 257 postgraduate supervisors. Medical education has set up five majors with more than 4000 students, among which the number of doctoral and postgraduate students exceeds the number of undergraduates.

Discipline and specialty

For a long time, West China Clinical Medical College has always adhered to the educational thought of “elite, exquisite and high-quality” in medical education, and maintained the tradition of attaching importance to the cultivation of clinical practice ability. Generations of Huaxi students have created a good reputation in the medical field. At present, the college has a postdoctoral station in clinical medicine, which is authorized by the national first-tier discipline of clinical medicine, with 29 doctoral programs covering all disciplines and their submajors.
