北京市第二中学

北京市第二中学，简称北京二中，是北京市示范高中，前身是清朝左翼宗学，创建于1724年。学校处在北京市的中心区域，坐落在北京市东城区内务部街，师资雄厚，教学设施先进、全面，在社会上拥有良好声誉。每年，超过95%毕业生考入第一批重点大学，六分之一左右的学生考入清华大学、北京大学。二中先后与11个国家和地区的学校建立了友好关系。

师资队伍

现有40余个教学班，学生1500余名，教职工总数215名，其中专任教师134名，特级教师7人，具有博士研究生学历13人、硕士研究生学历24人，市级学科带头人、骨干教师10人，其中，区级骨干教师27人、校级骨干教师24人。

教学设施

学校校舍占地面积20821平方米，建筑面积22624平方米，有6350平方米的高规格全塑胶操场，有理、化、生实验室10个及108平方米的生物走廊，有配备113台586电脑的学生计算机房，容纳240人的学生阅览室，有电子阅览室、舞蹈房、爱立信电信空间分站，校内建有实用高效的计算机校园网，各个教室均配备了投影仪的闭路电视。 北京二中的校训是“敬业乐群”和“扎实、创造、团结、有恒”。在这种校训的熏陶下，毕业生中出现了一批各有专长、成绩卓著的学生 。

教学特色

1.以人为本，坚持品格教育和诚信教育，严格管理。形成了良好的校风，远近闻名。

2.教学上创造了适合学生发展，灵活且自主选择班的教学模式——分层教学(四个学科：数学、英语、物理、化学施行小班分层授课)。分层原则：分层不分班，保底不封顶，学生自选层，层间可流动。

3.各科教学大力夯实基础，注重阅读能力的培养。大胆开发符合现代教育的校本课程，培养学生的创新能力。英语使用纯英国进口教材，聘请经验丰富的外教进行口语训练。

4.为了开阔学生视野、丰富知识，学校每年组织初一至高三的学生去外省市进行社会实践活动，从而激发学生的爱国热情。小学部每月组织一次社会实践活动，让学生接触社会，段练适应社会生存的能力。

5.学校每年利用寒、暑假组织学生赴国外游学，先后去过美国、英国、加拿大、新西兰、澳大利亚等国家。
