北京市陈经纶中学是国家公立学校，始建于1921年,是朝阳区唯一一所具有90年历史的老校，2002年被批准为北京市首批示范性普通高中，是目前朝阳区办学规模最大的市级示范校。学校先后荣获“全国精神文明建设先进单位”、“全国体育工作先进校”、“北京市德育工作先进校”、“北京市教科研工作先进校”、“北京市金鹏科技团”、“北京市校园环境示范校”、“北京市文明礼仪示范校”、“北京市中小学校长培训实践基地”、“北京市骨干教师行动研究项目基地校”、“北京市‘校本课程’建设先进校”、“北京市基础教育课程建设先进学校”、“北京市高中课程网建设先进单位”等集体荣誉称号。

陈经纶中学具备一流的办学设备。新建的图书馆、阅览室宽敞明亮，藏书13万册，实行开架借阅;学校各类专用教室齐全，今年投资建设朝阳区第一个数字博物馆，并拥有设施先进的学术报告厅、和可容纳近2000人的多功能大礼堂，可安排不同规模的教育教学活动;学校拥有竞赛标准的田径运动场，室内篮球馆和游泳馆;2007年10月竣工的陈经纶中学数字化校园工程，无限扩展了师生的教育视野和学习时空，成为了学校全面建设和发展的新平台。

近年来，陈经纶中学的高考成绩稳居朝阳教育第一质量平台。升学率100%，99%以上升本科，80%升入重点大学。尤其是2009年以来，陈经纶中学连续两年大幅度超额完成升学指标，摘得中高考质量双优学校的桂冠。陈经纶中学每年都有相当数量的学生考入清华、北大、人大、复旦等一流学府，四分之一以上的应届毕业生进入中科大、北航、北理工等部属名校。2010年我校吴轶凡同学被哈佛商学院以全额奖学金录取，孙一能同学被美国蒙特霍利学院录取，他们不仅成绩优异，更是在我校校本课程体系中有丰富的实践活动经验，符合这些世界名校对未来人才的遴选标准。

Beijing Chen Jinglun Middle School is a national public school, founded in 1921. It is the only old school with a history of 90 years in Chaoyang District. In 2002, it was approved as the first batch of demonstration high schools in Beijing. It is currently the largest municipal demonstration school in Chaoyang District. The school has won the “National Advanced Unit for the Construction of spiritual Civilization”, “National Advanced School for Sports work”, “Beijing Advanced School for moral Education”, “Beijing Advanced School for Educational and Scientific Research”, “Beijing Jinpeng Science and Technology Troupe”, “Beijing Campus Environment demonstration School”, “Beijing civilized Etiquette demonstration School”, “Beijing Primary and Middle School Principal training practice Base”, Collective honorary titles such as “Beijing backbone teacher Action Research Project Base School”, “Beijing School-based Curriculum Construction Advanced School”, “Beijing basic Education Curriculum Construction Advanced School”, “Beijing Senior High School Curriculum Network Construction Advanced Unit” and so on.

Chen Jinglun Middle School has first-class equipment. The newly-built library and reading room are spacious and bright, with a collection of 130000 books and open-shelf lending; the school has a complete range of special classrooms, and this year it has invested in the construction of the first digital museum in Chaoyang District. It also has an advanced academic lecture hall and a multi-functional auditorium that can accommodate nearly 2000 people, which can arrange educational and teaching activities of different sizes; the school has competition-standard track and field playgrounds, indoor basketball courts and swimming pools. The digital campus project of Chen Jinglun Middle School, completed in October 2007, has infinitely expanded the educational vision and learning time and space of teachers and students, and has become a new platform for the all-round construction and development of the school.

In recent years, the college entrance examination score of Chen Jinglun Middle School ranks firmly in the first quality platform of Chaoyang education. The enrollment rate is 100%, 99% or more, and 80% of them are admitted to key universities. Especially since 2009, Chen Jinglun Middle School has substantially exceeded the enrollment target for two consecutive years and won the crown of a school with double excellent quality in the college entrance examination. Every year, a considerable number of students from Chen Jinglun Middle School are admitted to first-class universities such as Tsinghua University, Peking University, National people’s Congress and Fudan, and more than 1/4 of the fresh graduates enter famous universities affiliated to China University of Science and Technology, Beijing University of Science and Technology, and Beijing Institute of Technology. In 2010, Wu Yifan was admitted to Harvard Business School with a full scholarship, and Sun Yineng was admitted to Monteholi College in the United States. they not only achieved excellent results, but also had rich experience in practical activities in our school-based curriculum system. in line with the selection criteria for future talents of these world-famous universities.
