武夷山职业学院

武夷山职业学院—-座落在世界自然与文化双遗产地、世界朱子文化发源地、中国大红袍茶乡、中国革命老区、中国优秀旅游城市的武夷山市高教园区内。学院经福建省人民政府批准、国家教育部备案，具有独立颁发国家承认学历的全日制综合性普通高等院校。校园占地500亩，目前建筑面积已达6万多平方米。校园环境优美，文化底蕴浓厚，是青年学子求学上进的理想之地。

2009年至今，我院先后被评为“中国民办教育百强学校”、“三八红旗集体”、“文明单位”、“卫生单位”、“巾帼文明岗”、“文明学校”。学院以“格物致知，明德尚行”为校训，以“立足武夷，连接两岸，服务海西，辐射全国，全力打造特色鲜明的高职院校”为办学定位。以“专业化、人文化、市场化、国际化”为办学方向，以“为社会培养职业型、创新型、技能型人才，为人才寻找未来发展方向”为使命。

学院现有一支以教授、副教授、讲师及“双师素质型”为骨干的教师队伍。并依托清华大学、中山大学、厦门大学等雄厚的师资力量。学院以国际餐旅、茶专业为龙头，设置高职高专专业18个，共有餐旅管理系、茶学系、工程系、经济系、基础部5个系部。

学院拥有教学区、后勤生活区、运动区、文化活动区等。已建成计算机网络中心、多媒体教室、茶艺室、电子、电工实训室、烹饪室、酒店客房等46多个校内外实训基地。内有大型活动场所、图书馆、体育场、学术报告厅等，以及26个学生社团组织。

我院坚持以就业为导向，以培养高端技能型人才为目标，广泛开展校企合作、校校合作，已与全国众多的大中型企业、台企签订了就业协议。学院已成立国家职业技能鉴定站，学生毕业时不仅能获得国家认可的大专毕业证书，还可获得计算机、英语、导游、茶艺、中级厨师多种职业技术等级证书，做到毕业即就业，上岗即上手。

学院2009年被省教育厅遴选为闽台两岸职业教育交流合作的先行先试校。学院创新办学模式，引进台湾先进的职业教育办学理念，先后与台湾的北台湾、万能、美和、吴凤等6所技术学院达成师资互派、信息交换、教材互用、资源共享、组织学生赴台实习深造等合作协议。同时，还被福建省台湾同胞联谊会确定为台湾同胞培训基地校。目前，学院正站在新的历史起点上，坚定不移地按照现代高职教育要求，依法办学、规范办学、特色办学，为把我院建成特色鲜明的高职院校阔步前进。

Wuyishan Vocational College is located in the Wuyishan higher Education Park of the world’s natural and cultural heritage, the birthplace of world Zhuzi culture, Dahongpao Tea Township of China, the old revolutionary base of China, and the excellent tourist city of China. Approved by the Fujian Provincial people’s Government and filed by the Ministry of Education, the college is a full-time comprehensive institution of higher learning that independently issues nationally recognized academic qualifications. The campus covers an area of 500 mu, and the current construction area has reached more than 60,000 square meters. With a beautiful campus environment and strong cultural heritage, it is an ideal place for young students to make progress in their studies.

Since 2009, our college has been awarded as “Top 100 Chinese Private Education School”, “March 8th Red Flag Collective”, “civilized Unit”, “Health Unit”, “Women’s civilized Post” and “civilized School”. The college takes “knowledge of things and virtues” as its motto, and its school orientation is “based on Wuyi, connecting the two sides of the strait, serving the West, radiating the whole country, and making every effort to create higher vocational colleges with distinctive characteristics”. Take “specialization, human culture, marketization and internationalization” as the direction of running a school, and “train professional, innovative and skilled talents for the society, and find the future development direction for talents” as the mission.

The college now has a team of teachers with professors, associate professors, lecturers and “double-division quality” as the backbone. And rely on Tsinghua University, Sun Yat-sen University, Xiamen University and other strong faculty. With international catering and tea majors as the leader, the college has set up 18 majors in higher vocational colleges, including 5 departments, namely, the Department of Catering and Travel Management, the Department of Tea, the Department of Engineering, the Department of Economics and the basic Department.

The college has teaching area, logistics and living area, sports area, cultural activity area and so on. It has built more than 46 training bases inside and outside the school, such as computer network center, multimedia classroom, tea room, electronics, electrician training room, cooking room, hotel room and so on. There are large-scale activity venues, libraries, stadiums, academic lecture halls, as well as 26 student organizations.

Our college insists on taking employment as the orientation, aims at training high-end skilled talents, extensively carries out school-enterprise cooperation and school-school cooperation, and has signed employment agreements with many large and medium-sized enterprises and Taiwan enterprises across the country. The college has set up a national vocational skills appraisal station, and when students graduate, they can not only obtain a nationally recognized college diploma, but also obtain various vocational and technical certificates of computer, English, tour guides, tea arts and intermediate cooks, so that they can be employed as soon as they graduate.

In 2009, the College was selected by the Provincial Department of Education as the pilot school for the exchange and cooperation of vocational education between Fujian and Taiwan. The college innovates the school-running mode and introduces Taiwan’s advanced concept of vocational education. Cooperation agreements have been reached with six technical colleges in Taiwan, including North Taiwan, Universal, Meihe and Wu Feng, such as the exchange of teachers, the exchange of information, the mutual use of teaching materials, the sharing of resources, and the organization of students to go to Taiwan for internship and further study. At the same time, it has also been identified as a training base school for Taiwan compatriots by the Fujian Taiwan compatriots Association. At present, the college is standing at a new historical starting point, unswervingly in accordance with the requirements of modern higher vocational education, running schools according to law, standardizing schools, and running schools with characteristics, in order to build our college into a higher vocational college with distinctive characteristics.
