益阳职业技术学院

益阳职业技术学院是经湖南省人民政府批准、教育部备案的全日制公办高校，是教育部人才培养工作水平评估“优秀”学校，是湖南大学与益阳市人民政府共建学校，是“湖南省汽车制造业高技能人才培养培训基地”，是湖南省汽车行业协会第五届理事会副会长单位和益阳现代制造职业教育集团理事长单位，面向全国招生。

学院座落在湖南省美丽的银城益阳市，是文化名人“三周一叶”的故乡，地属长、株、潭、益一体化经济圈，紧靠长沙大河西两型社会建设先导区，位于长常高速公路益阳市迎风桥高速公路进出口处，距省会长沙40分钟车程，长石铁路、洛湛铁路、319国道与204省道在此交汇，交通十分便利。

学院环境十分优美，是湖南省绿色学校。现有在校学生6000人，校园面积580亩，建筑面积17万平方米，总资产2.4亿元。学院拥有先进的现代制造实训基地、数控模具实训中心、中央财政支持的汽车检测维修实训中心、汽车驾驶员培训考试中心、园林花卉培植中心、畜牧养殖中心、计算机实训中心、电子实训中心、财会实训中心等100多个实践教育培训中心。

学院设有汽车工程系、机电与电子应用工程系、经济管理系、生物与信息工程系、旅游航空学院(筹)、基础课部、培训中心等教学单位。学院注重对外文化学术交流和国际合作，与韩国湖南大学、南海大学签订了合作办学协议，常年聘请外籍教师执教及国内外知名专家讲座，与加拿大、澳大利亚、新加坡、韩国开展联合办学和出国培训，是“湖南省外派劳务培训基地”。

学院设有国家职业技能鉴定所，全面推行双证制，学生毕业后在获得毕业证书同时，还可获得包括驾驶执照、计算机和英语等级证在内的与专业相应的职业资格证书。学院注重强化学生的技能训练，学生多次在省内外职业技术能大赛中获奖，在全省高职学院中名列前茅。

近年来，学院先后与中联重科、三一重工、比亚迪汽车、万科物业、快乐购等200多家国内外知名企业签订了就业合作协议，毕业生就业率高达92%以上。学院教学严谨，管理严格，先后被评为“全国德育工作先进单位”、“湖南省职业教育与成人教育先进单位”、“湖南省毕业生就业工作先进单位”、“首届湖南社会信赖学校”。学生食堂被省教育厅评为“湖南省普通高校标准化学生食堂”。学院秉承育人为本、产学结合、教以致技、学以致用的办学理念，坚持质量立校、人才强校、特色兴校，为生产、建设、管理、服务第一线培养了一大批高素质的高端高技能人才。

Yiyang Vocational and Technical College is a full-time public university approved by the Hunan Provincial people’s Government and filed by the Ministry of Education. It is an “excellent” school for evaluating the level of talent training of the Ministry of Education. It is a joint school built by Hunan University and the people’s Government of Yiyang City. It is a “training base for high-skilled talents in Hunan automobile manufacturing industry”. It is the vice chairman of the fifth council of Hunan Automobile Industry Association and the chairman of Yiyang Modern Manufacturing Vocational Education Group.

The college is located in Yiyang City, the beautiful silver city of Hunan Province, and is the hometown of cultural celebrities “three weeks and one leaf”. It belongs to the integrated economic circle of Changsha, Zhuzhou, Tan and Yi, and is close to the leading area of the construction of two types of society in Changsha. It is located at the entrance and exit of Yingfeng Bridge Expressway in Yiyang City of Changchang Expressway, 40 minutes away from the provincial capital Changsha, Changshi Railway, Luozhan Railway, National Highway 319 and Provincial Highway 204 meet here, the traffic is very convenient.

The college has a very beautiful environment and is a green school in Hunan Province. At present, there are 6000 students, the campus area is 580mu, the construction area is 170000 square meters, and the total assets are 240 million yuan. The college has advanced modern manufacturing training base, numerical control mold training center, central financial support automobile inspection and maintenance training center, car driver training and examination center, garden flower cultivation center, animal husbandry center, computer training center, electronic training center, accounting training center and so on more than 100 practical education and training centers.

The college has teaching units such as Department of Automotive Engineering, Department of Mechanical and Electrical and Electronic Applied Engineering, Department of Economic Management, Department of Biology and Information Engineering, School of Tourism and Aeronautics (chips), basic courses Department, training Center and so on. The college pays attention to foreign cultural and academic exchanges and international cooperation, has signed cooperation agreements with Hunan University and Nanhai University in South Korea, and has hired foreign teachers to teach and lectures by well-known experts at home and abroad. It is a “Hunan expatriate labor training base” to carry out joint school running and overseas training with Canada, Australia, Singapore and South Korea.

The college has set up the National Vocational skills Accreditation Institute, which comprehensively implements the double certificate system. After graduation, students can also obtain professional qualification certificates corresponding to their majors, including driving license, computer and English grade certificate. The college pays attention to strengthening the skills training of students, and students have won awards in vocational and technical competitions inside and outside the province for many times, and they are among the best in the higher vocational colleges of the province.

In recent years, the college has successively signed employment cooperation agreements with more than 200 domestic and foreign well-known enterprises, such as Zoomlion heavy Science, Sany heavy Industry, BYD Automobile, Vanke property, Happy purchase, etc., and the employment rate of graduates is as high as 92%. The college has strict teaching and strict management. it has been awarded as “National Advanced Unit of moral Education”, “Advanced Unit of Hunan Vocational Education and Adult Education”, “Advanced Unit of Employment of Hunan graduates” and “first Hunan Social Trust School”. The student canteen was rated as “standardized student canteen of ordinary colleges and universities in Hunan Province” by the Provincial Department of Education.
