河北科技学院

河北科技学院(Hebei College of Science and
Technology)是一所经河北省人民政府批准、国家教育部备案的以工科教育为主，工、理、管、经协调发展的民办普通高等学校，纳入国家统招计划，面向全国招生。

据2014年10月学校官网显示，学院占地面积近700亩，建筑面积27万多平方米，现有教学仪器设备总值4000多万元，图书馆藏书56万册，期刊、杂志607种，电子图书687GB，电子期刊8200余种。学院现有教职员工500余人，其中副高级以上职称占教师总数的32%以上，在校生8000余人。设有机电工程系、汽车工程系、建筑工程系、经济管理系、信息与艺术系、继续教育学院、公共课部、培训部等8个教学单位，
52个本、专科专业，是一所以工科为主，理、管、经、文、医多学科协调发展的综合型大学。

截至2014年，一支以专家、教授、高级工程师和高级技师为主体的学科应用型“双师型”师资队伍。目学院有教职工470名，具有副教授以上职称教师106名，具有博士、硕士研究生以上学历教师151名。

学院专门成立了由学科带头人、企事业单位人力资源总监、高级技术总监(工程师、高级技师)以及聘请华北电力大学、河北大学、河北农业大学和河北金融学院等著名大学教授共同组成的创新教改领导小组，作为教学、科研工作的决策及执行机构，参与制订并组织实施教学计划。

据2014年10月学校官网显示，学院开放办学，积极开展国际交流与合作，先后与英国伦敦南岸大学、美国蒙东娜大学达成了国际交流与合作意向;与韩国金浦大学、釜山科技大学、京畿科学技术大学、韩国教育技术大学等高校建立了友好合作关系，签署了校际国际交流与合作协议;与韩国全州大学联合设立了韩国语教育中心，互派交换生，开展了实质性合作。

学院在教学与科研中，获各类成果75项，论文期刊220篇，出版著作、教材107部，省、院级精品课程14门;在全国高校各类竞赛中，共有近300余名学生获得省部级百项以上奖励，在同类院校中名列前茅;学院与战略合作企业共同承担重大研究项目7个;技术革新、市场推广、创业包装等项目13个。

2009年3月建立了重庆维普数据的《中文科技期刊数据库》镜像站;2010年10月，实现了与中国地质大学(北京)网络信息中心中文电子资源的共享。可利用的数据库有：中国知网(中国期刊全文数据库、优秀硕士论文数据库、优秀博士论文数据库和重要会议论文数据库)、万方数据资源(中国学位论文数据库、中国标准文献数据库和中国法律法规全文库)、超星数字图书馆和北大方正Apabi图书系统。

Technology) is a private institution of higher learning approved by the Hebei Provincial people’s Government and filed by the Ministry of Education, which focuses on engineering education with coordinated development of engineering, science, management and economy. It is included in the national unified enrollment plan and faces the whole country.

According to the official website of the school in October 2014, the college covers an area of nearly 700mu, with a construction area of more than 270000 square meters, with a total value of more than 40 million yuan, 560000 books in the library, 607 periodicals and magazines, 687GB e-books and more than 8200 e-periodicals. The college has more than 500 faculty and staff, of which deputy senior titles and above account for more than 32% of the total teachers and more than 8000 students. There are 8 teaching units, including the Department of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, the Department of Automotive Engineering, the Department of Architectural Engineering, the Department of Economic Management, the Department of Information and Art, the College of continuing Education, the Department of Public courses, the Department of training, and so on.

With 52 undergraduate and junior college majors, it is a comprehensive university with engineering as the main discipline and coordinated development of science, management, economics, liberal arts and medicine.

As of 2014, a team of applied “double-qualified” teachers with experts, professors, senior engineers and senior technicians as the main body. The college has 470 staff, 106 teachers with the title of associate professor or above, and 151 teachers with doctor’s degree or master’s degree or above.

The college has specially set up a leading group for innovative teaching reform, which is composed of discipline leaders, human resources directors of enterprises and institutions, senior technical directors (engineers and senior technicians), and professors from famous universities such as North China Electric Power University, Hebei University, Hebei Agricultural University and Hebei Institute of Finance, as the decision-making and implementing institutions of teaching and scientific research, participate in the formulation and implementation of teaching plans.

According to the school’s official website in October 2014, the college is open to running a school, actively carries out international exchanges and cooperation, and has successively reached the intention of international exchange and cooperation with London South Bank University in the United Kingdom and Montona University in the United States. it has established friendly and cooperative relations with Kimpo University, Busan University of Science and Technology, Beijing University of Science and Technology, Korea University of Education and Technology, and signed an agreement on intercollegiate international exchange and cooperation. A Korean language education center has been set up jointly with Jeonju University in South Korea to exchange students and carry out substantive cooperation.

In teaching and scientific research, the college has won 75 achievements, 220 papers and periodicals, 107 books and teaching materials, and 14 high-quality courses at provincial and college levels. in all kinds of competitions in colleges and universities across the country, nearly 300 students have won more than 100 awards at the provincial and ministerial level, ranking among the best in similar institutions; the college and strategic cooperative enterprises jointly undertake 7 major research projects; and 13 projects such as technological innovation, market promotion, entrepreneurial packaging and so on.

The mirror station of “Chinese Sci-tech Journal Database” of Chongqing VIP data was established in March 2009, and in October 2010, it realized the sharing of Chinese electronic resources with the Network Information Center of China University of Geosciences (Beijing). The available databases are: China knowledge Network (China Journal full-text Database, excellent Master thesis Database, excellent doctoral thesis Database and important Conference thesis Database), Wanfang data Resources (China degree thesis Database, China Standard Literature Database and Chinese laws and regulations full text Database), Super Star Digital Library and Peking University founder Apabi Book system.

河北科技学院是国家教育部批准的具有高等学历教育招生资格的普通高等学校，办学层次为全日制普通本科，学院上级主管部门是河北省教育厅。按国家计划面向全国统一招生。
