兴安职业技术学院

　　兴安职业技术学院坐落在大兴安岭南麓乌兰浩特市。乌兰浩特市是内蒙古自治区政府成立的地方，素有“内蒙古延安”之美称。其前身是兴安盟师范学校和兴安盟教育学院，其中兴安盟师范学校始建于1970年，是全国六所示范性评估试点学校之一。2004年按照盟委、盟行署关于做大做强兴安职业技术学院的决定精神，将兴安盟农牧学校、卫生学校、财经学校、交通技工学校、粮食干部培训学校并入学院。

　　学院占地面积 40万平方米，建筑面积 97189平方米，固定资产总额为56645086元，图书馆藏书232426册，教学仪器设备总值为10807014元。现下设四个分院，十七个处室，十三个教学系，一个研究所。学院现有在编教职工552人，其中专任教师 413人，副高级以上职称教师139人，中级职称 163 人。

　　学院学科门类齐全，专业设置合理。目前开设护理、旅游管理、法律事务、汽运技术、装潢艺术设计、设施农业技术、园艺技术、食品加工技术、畜牧兽医、新闻采编与制作、电子商务、舞蹈表演、道路桥梁工程技术、计算机网络技术、应用英语、英语教育、学前教育、音乐教育、蒙汉双语、汉语言文学等涵盖文、理、农、医四大学科体系的36个专业。其中11个是重点建设专业。

　　学院坚持以教学为中心，全面实施“名师工程”，加强专业建设、学科建设和课程改革。现有博士研究生5名，硕士研究生 101名。

　　学院采取“半封闭式和半军事化”的管理模式，实施“平安教育”工程，多年来保持零重大伤亡率，得到了社会、家长和广大学生的好评。

　　几年来，学院累计投入 6159万元用于基础设施建设和校园环境建设，师生员工工作、学习和生活条件及校园环境面貌发生了根本改变，达到了同类院校的先进水平。

　　学院毕业生就业渠道通畅，就业前景广阔。在北京、大连、天津等地建有稳定的就业基地。订单式、多证制的办学策略，使毕业生一次就业率达到98%以上，得到了社会公众的广泛认可。

　　学院与国内外多家高校有着广泛的合作项目。现已与蒙古国东方省联合互派留学生，与俄罗斯海参崴国立经济大学、青岛北方对外教育交流学院开展了中俄联合培养本科生项目。学院是内蒙古师范大学与兴安盟行政公署联合共建院校，同时与东北师范大学、吉林大学、内蒙古民族大学等学校有着实质性的联系和合作。

　　近年来，学院发挥院校整合优势，加强基础设施建设，探索出一条适合学院发展的路子。形成了立足兴安盟，服务自治区，以职业教育与师范教育为基础，重点加强应用技能型专业建设，将学院建设成为文、理、农、医等多学科的高等院校，为地方经济建设和社会发展培养应用技术人才的办学思路。我们相信，在不远的将来，一所历史文化底蕴深厚，地方民族特色鲜明，学科专业特色突出，规模、效益、结构合理的现代化、正规化、特色化的大学必将跻身于全国先进高校的行列。

Xing’an Vocational and Technical College is located in Wulanhaote at the southern foot of Daxing’an Mountains. Wulanhaote is the place established by the government of Inner Mongolia Autonomous region, which is known as “Inner Mongolia Yan’an”. Its predecessor is Xingan normal School and Xingan Institute of Education, among which Xingan normal School was founded in 1970 and is one of the six pilot schools for demonstration evaluation in the country. In 2004, in accordance with the spirit of the decision of the League Committee and the League Administration on expanding and strengthening Xing’an Vocational and Technical College, Xing’an Agriculture and Animal Husbandry School, Health School, Finance and Economics School, Traffic Technical School and Grain cadre training School were merged into the college.

The college covers an area of 400000 square meters, the construction area is 97189 square meters, the total fixed assets is 56645086 yuan, the library collects 232426 books, and the total value of teaching equipment is 10807014 yuan. There are now four branches, 17 offices, 13 teaching departments and one research institute. The college now has 552 faculty members, including 413 full-time teachers, 139 teachers with deputy senior titles and 163 intermediate titles.

The college has a full range of disciplines and reasonable professional settings. At present, it offers nursing, tourism management, legal affairs, motor transportation technology, decoration art design, facility agricultural technology, horticulture technology, food processing technology, animal husbandry and veterinary medicine, news gathering and production, e-commerce, dance performance, road and bridge engineering technology, computer network technology, applied English, English education, preschool education, music education, Mongolian and Chinese bilingual, Chinese language and literature, etc. There are 36 majors in the four major disciplines of medicine. Eleven of them are key construction majors.

The college insists on teaching as the center, comprehensively implements the “famous teacher project”, and strengthens specialty construction, discipline construction and curriculum reform. At present, there are 5 doctoral students and 101 master’s students.

The college adopts a “semi-closed and semi-militarized” management model, implements the “safety education” project, and has maintained zero major casualty rate for many years, which has been well received by the society, parents and the majority of students.

Over the past few years, the college has invested a total of 61.59 million yuan in infrastructure construction and campus environment construction, and the working, learning and living conditions of teachers, students and staff and the campus environment have fundamentally changed, reaching the advanced level of similar colleges and universities.

College graduates have unobstructed employment channels and broad employment prospects. Stable employment bases have been built in Beijing, Dalian, Tianjin and other places. The school-running strategy of order-type and multi-certificate system has enabled the one-time employment rate of graduates to reach more than 98%, which has been widely recognized by the public.

The college has extensive cooperation projects with many universities at home and abroad. At present, we have jointly sent foreign students with Oriental Province of Mongolia, and launched a Sino-Russian joint undergraduate training program with Vladivostok State University of Economics and Qingdao Northern Institute of Foreign Education and Exchange. The college is jointly established by Inner Mongolia normal University and Xingan Administrative Office, and has substantial contact and cooperation with Northeast normal University, Jilin University, Inner Mongolia University for nationalities and other schools.

In recent years, the college has given full play to the advantages of institutional integration, strengthened infrastructure construction, and explored a way suitable for the development of the college. It has formed a foothold in Xingan, serving the autonomous region, focusing on strengthening the construction of applied skills specialties on the basis of vocational education and normal education, and building the college into a multi-disciplinary institution of higher learning such as liberal arts, science, agriculture, medicine, and so on. the idea of training applied technical personnel for local economic construction and social development. We believe that in the near future, a university with profound historical and cultural heritage, distinctive local ethnic characteristics, outstanding discipline and professional characteristics, modernized, regularized and characterized with reasonable scale, efficiency and structure will join the ranks of advanced colleges and universities in the country.
