北京培黎职业学院

北京培黎职业学院是经北京市人民政府批准，国家教育部备案，在原北京培黎职业大学基础上设立，具有独立颁发国家承认学历的市属全日制民办普通高校，开展高等职业教育(专科)。学院设置7个系，23个高职教育专业，在校生4000余人。

2008年4月12日，尊敬的温家宝总理在日理万机中为我院亲书校训“手脑并用，创造分析”和给同学们复信，给予全院师生极大的教育、鼓舞和鞭策。

学院的前身是创建于1983年5月的北京培黎职业大学，系我国改革开放中最早创立的民办大学之一。其历史源于上世纪抗战时期路易·艾黎创办的培黎学校。

培黎职业大学的创办和建设，得到了国际友人、著名社会活动家路易·艾黎的大力支持，他和马海德一起担任我校首任名誉校长。1984年，艾黎亲自把我校校名确定为培黎职业大学，之所以命名为“培黎”，一是为纪念其先师约瑟夫·培黎，二是含有为中华的黎明培养人才之意。路易·艾黎1927年来华，参加了第一个国际性的马克思主义学习小组，并与中国共产党建立了联系，其住所成为党的地下工作碰头点和避难所，为中国的抗战和新中国的建设、教育、宣传做了许多工作，邓小平同志称他是“伟大的国际主义战士”，中国人民的一位老战士、老朋友、老同志。

学院在全国26个省、市(自治区)投放统招招生指标，按照各省、市(自治区)高校招生办公室规定统一录取学生。学院专业适应人才市场需求，特色鲜明，为有志报考的同学提供适合的教育。

学院以“为黎明而培训”、“教书育人”为宗旨，坚持服务首都经济建设和社会发展的办学定位，立足北京、依托中关村、服务基层;坚持依法治校、诚信办学、规范管理，以“为国家分忧，为家长解难，为青年学生成才铺路”为己任，实践“社会公办、平民大学、以人为本、民主管理”的办学理念;以高端服务为宗旨，以高质量就业为导向，走产学结合的高职教育发展道路，坚持工学结合的人才培养模式，不断深化专业建设和课程改革，提高教育教学质量，培养高素质技能型人才，近几年学生参加北京市专升本考试的录取率达到70%左右，居本市同类高校前列;学院形成了以经济管理类专业为主体，工程、文化艺术类专业相互支撑、协调发展的格局，奠定了学院内涵发展、特色立校、品牌强校的坚实基础，办学实力进一步增强。

学院迄今已为社会培养输送了3万余名实用型人才，受到了社会各界的欢迎和好评。学院历年毕业生就业率达到98%左右，就业质量高，每年均有一批毕业生被多家大型商业银行录用。从2001年9月起，学院开办春蕾大专班，自筹资金300多万元资助品学兼优、家庭贫困女生完成大专学业，使128名女生改变了生活命运。为提升学生的职业核心能力和就业竞争力，拓宽就业渠道，学院建设了46个校内实训室，满足各专业学生的实训需要。同时大力加强学生在校期间充分接触社会的实践锻炼，学院各专业先后与北京市海淀区人民检察院、联想集团、招商证劵股份有限公司、金蝶软件(中国)有限公司北京分公司、中国工商银行北京分行、中国人民人寿保险股份有限公司、中骏腾达商贸有限公司、枫叶国际学校、长富宫饭店、清华大学科教仪器厂、利星行汽车集团公司等单位建立了30多个校外实训基地。

建院30年来，学院办学成绩卓著，多次荣获教育行政主管部门的表彰奖励。2004年11月被中共北京市委教育工作委员会和北京市教育委员会评为“2004年度北京市民办教育先进单位”;2005年11月被中共北京市委教育工作委员会和北京市教育委员会评为“北京市依法治校示范校”;2005年被北京市民政局、北京市人事局、北京市社团管理办公室评为“先进民间组织”;2006年被北京市民办教育安全稳定工作委员会评为“北京市民办高校安全稳定工作先进单位”;2008年被中共北京市委教育工作委员会、北京市教育委员会、共青团北京市委员会等授予“首都教育系统奥运工作先进单位”;2009年5月被中华全国妇女联合会授予“中国儿童慈善奖”;2009年10月被首都国庆60周年群众游行指挥部授予“首都国庆60周年群众游行优秀组织单位”;2009年11月被首都精神文明建设委员会授予“迎国庆、讲文明、树新风活动先进单位”;2010年11月获得教育部中国教师发展基金会授予的“全国民办教育先进单位”;2011年6月被中国民办教育协会高等教育专业委员会评为“中国民办高等教育优秀院校”;2011年7月被中华全国妇女联合会、中国儿童少年基金会授予“中国儿童慈善奖”;2012年12月被北京市民政局评为北京市“5A级社会组织”，2013年2月荣获市民政局“北京市社会组织示范基地”等。

Beijing Peili Vocational College is established on the basis of the former Beijing Peili Vocational University with the approval of the Beijing Municipal people’s Government and the record of the Ministry of Education. The predecessor of the college is Beijing Peili Vocational University, which was founded in May 1983. It is one of the earliest private universities established in China’s reform and opening up. Its history originates from the Peili School founded by Louis Alley during the Anti-Japanese War in the last century.

The establishment and construction of Peili Vocational University has been strongly supported by Louis Alley, an international friend and a famous social activist. Together with Mahaide, he served as the first honorary president of our school. In 1984, Alley personally named our school Peili Vocational University, the reason why it was named “Peili”, one is to commemorate his former teacher Joseph Peili, and the other is to train talents for the dawn of China. When Louis Alley came to China in 1927, he joined the first international Marxist study group and established ties with the Communist Party of China. His residence became the meeting point and refuge for the party’s underground work. He did a lot of work for China’s War of Resistance and the construction, education, and propaganda of New China. Comrade Deng Xiaoping called him a “great internationalist soldier” and an old soldier, old friend and comrade of the Chinese people.

The college has launched unified enrollment indicators in 26 provinces and municipalities (autonomous regions) across the country, and uniformly enroll students in accordance with the regulations of the admissions offices of colleges and universities in all provinces and municipalities (autonomous regions). The college major adapts to the needs of the talent market and has distinctive features, providing suitable education for students who are interested in applying for the examination.

With the tenet of “training for dawn” and “teaching and educating people”, the college adheres to the orientation of serving the economic and social development of the capital, based in Beijing, relying on Zhongguancun and serving the grass-roots level. With high-end service as the purpose, high-quality employment as the guidance, taking the development road of higher vocational education with the combination of production and learning, adhering to the talent training mode of the combination of work and learning, constantly deepening professional construction and curriculum reform, improving the quality of education and teaching, training high-quality skilled talents, in recent years, the admission rate of students participating in this examination in Beijing has reached about 70%, ranking in the forefront of similar colleges and universities in this city. The college has formed a pattern of mutual support and coordinated development of engineering, culture and art majors with economic and management majors as the main body, which has laid a solid foundation for the connotation development, characteristics and brand development of the college, and the strength of running a school has been further enhanced.

So far, the college has trained more than 30,000 practical talents for the society, which has been welcomed and praised by all sectors of the community. Over the years, the employment rate of college graduates has reached about 98%, and the employment quality is high. Every year, a group of graduates are employed by a number of large commercial banks. Since September 2001, the college has set up a junior college class for spring buds, raising more than 3 million yuan to help girls with excellent moral and academic qualifications and poor families to complete their college studies, which has changed the lives of 128 girls. In order to enhance students’ professional core competence and employment competitiveness, and broaden employment channels, the college has built 46 training rooms to meet the practical training needs of students of various majors. At the same time, great efforts should be made to strengthen the practical training of students’ full contact with the society during the period of school. Each major of the college has worked with Beijing Haidian District people’s Procuratorate, Lenovo Group, China Merchants Securities Co., Ltd., Kingdee Software (China) Co., Ltd. Beijing Branch, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Beijing Branch, people’s Life Insurance Co., Ltd., Zhongjun Tengda Trading Co., Ltd., Maple Leaf International School, Changfu Palace Hotel, Tsinghua University Science and Education instrument Factory, Lixing Automobile Group and other units have established more than 30 off-campus training bases.

Since its establishment 30 years ago, the college has made outstanding achievements in running a school, and has been commended and rewarded by the department in charge of education administration many times.
