中国人民大学法学院

　　中国人民大学是中国一所著名的以人文社会科学为主的综合性大学，法学院是中国人民大学的主要学院之一。王轶教授任院长。

　　中国人民大学法律系成立于1950年，是新中国诞生后创立的第一所正规的高等法学教育机构，被誉为中国法学教育的“工作母机”和“法学家的摇篮”，成为引领法学教育的重镇、凝聚国内优秀法律人才的平台和沟通中外法学交流的窗口。1998年，人大法学院在全国高校系统中第一个被授予“全国五一劳动奖状”。

　　并入中国人民大学法律系的朝阳大学创办于1912年，当时被誉为“中国最优秀之法律院校”，在中国近代法学教育史上享有“北朝阳，南东吴”、“无朝(阳)不成院(法院)”的美誉。

　　法学院设有43个研究中心(所)，拥有“985工程”国家重点创新基地和2个教育部人文社会科学研究基地，建有国家“211工程”重点项目“中国法制信息港”和综合性的法学实验实践教学中心。图书馆现有藏书30余万册，其中中文法律图书25万余册，外文法律图书5万余册，中文法律期刊1300余种3万余册，外文法律期刊80余种3000余册。法学院主办的学术刊物有全国核心学术期刊《法学家》、《Frontiers of Law in China》、《人大法律评论》、《朝阳法律评论》等，并建成了“中国民商法律网”等全国知名的网站。

　　法学院形成了完整的人才培养体系，是全国首批获准在法学一级学科具有博士学位授予权的单位，博士点和硕士点覆盖了全部的二级学科。拥有国家级重点一级学科(含所有二级学科)1个(法学)、国家级重点二级学科4个，经国务院批准设立了中国第一个法学博士后流动站(含全部博士学位学科点)。拥有1个本科专业(法学)，1个第二学士专业(知识产权)，1个法律专业硕士学位点。学院自1950年至今已毕业学生两万余人，培养各类培训生、进修生、法官、检察官、律师、高校教师和国家机关公务员等30余万人。一大批毕业生已经成为共和国法治建设的优秀人才。现有在校注册学生2500余人，以研究生为主体，本科生约占五分之一。

　　法学院师资力量雄厚，拥有一支结构良好的教师队伍，其中既有一批在国内外享有盛誉的资深法学家，更有一大批在全国法律界和相关学科有影响的中青年法学家，先后有9名教授13次为中共中央政治局和全国人大常委会作过法制讲座。

　　60多年来，人大法学院为社会主义法制建设培养了大批优秀的法律人才，并为法学事业的振兴和繁荣做出了重大贡献。在教育部2004、2009、2012、2017年四次正式公布的全国一级学科评估排名中，中国人民大学法学院在全国法学学科中均排名第一，并开始跻身于世界一流法学院行列。

Renmin University of China is a famous comprehensive university focusing on humanities and social sciences in China, and the Law School is one of the main colleges of Renmin University of China. Professor Wang Yi is appointed dean.

The Law Department of Renmin University of China, founded in 1950, is the first formal higher legal education institution established after the birth of the people’s Republic of China. It is known as the mother machine of legal education in China & ldquo; & the cradle of rdquo; and & ldquo; jurists & rdquo;, has become a leading center of legal education, a platform for gathering domestic excellent legal talents and a window for legal exchanges between China and foreign countries. In 1998, the Law School of the National people’s Congress was awarded the first one in the national university system & ldquo; National May 1 Labor Award-rdquo;.

Chaoyang University, which was incorporated into the Law Department of Renmin University of China, was founded in 1912. At that time, it was known as & ldquo; the best law school in China & rdquo;, enjoyed the reputation of & ldquo; North Chaoyang, South Soochow & rdquo;, & ldquo; without court (court) & rdquo; in the history of modern Chinese law education.

The Law School has 43 research centers, ldquo;985 Project & rdquo; National key Innovation Base and 2 Humanities and Social Sciences Research bases of the Ministry of Education. It has the National & ldquo;211 Project & rdquo; key Project & ldquo; China legal Information Port & rdquo; and a comprehensive law experimental teaching center. The library now has a collection of more than 300,000 books, including more than 250000 Chinese law books, more than 50 000 foreign law books, more than 1300 Chinese law periodicals and more than 3000 foreign law periodicals. The academic journals sponsored by the Law School are the national core academic journals “jurist”, “Frontiers of Law in China”, “Law Review of the National people’s Congress”, “Chaoyang Law Review”, etc., and have built & ldquo; China Civil and Commercial Law Network & rdquo; and other nationally well-known websites.

The law school has formed a complete talent training system, which is the first batch of units approved to have the right to grant doctorates in the first-tier disciplines of law, and doctoral programs and master’s programs cover all second-level disciplines. It has one national key first-level discipline (including all second-level disciplines) and four national key second-level disciplines. With the approval of the State Council, it has set up China’s first post-doctoral station in law (including all doctoral programs). It has 1 undergraduate major (law), 1 second bachelor degree (intellectual property), and 1 master degree of law major. Since 1950, the college has graduated more than 20,000 students and trained more than 300,000 trainees, advanced students, judges, prosecutors, lawyers, university teachers and civil servants of state organs. A large number of graduates have become outstanding talents in the construction of the rule of law in the Republic. At present, there are more than 2500 registered students, with graduate students as the main body, and undergraduates account for about 1/5.

The law school has a strong faculty and a team of well-structured teachers, including not only a group of senior jurists who enjoy a high reputation at home and abroad, but also a large number of young and middle-aged jurists who have influence in the legal profession and related disciplines throughout the country. Nine professors have given legal lectures for the political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and the standing Committee of the National people’s Congress 13 times.

Over the past 60 years, the Law School of the National people’s Congress has trained a large number of excellent legal talents for the construction of the socialist legal system, and has made great contributions to the revitalization and prosperity of the legal cause. In the national first-tier discipline evaluation rankings officially released by the Ministry of Education in 2004, 2009, 2012 and 2017, the Law School of Renmin University of China ranked first in the national law disciplines and began to rank among the world’s top law schools.
