广西科技师范学院是一所全日制公办普通本科院校，位于素有“桂中”之称的新兴地级市来宾市，1958年建校以来，共培养了6万多名合格师资及各类应用型人才，被誉为“桂中基础教育师资的摇篮”，并积淀形成了“启智育人、博识敦行”的校训，以及“立足师范本色、服务职教发展、培养应用人才”的办学特色。

办学条件

建校五十五年来，学校发扬“艰苦奋斗、自强不息、求真务实、开拓创新”的办学精神，秉持“质量立校、特色强校、服务荣校”的办学理念和“启智育人、博识敦行”的校训，坚持“立足桂中，凸显师范，服务民族、农村新发展”的办学思路，为社会培养了6万多名合格人才，不少毕业生被评为全国、全区、地(市)级优秀教师和先进工作者，成为各条战线的栋梁之材。

师资力量

学校现有专任教师383人，其中高级职称教师178人(正高职称34人)，占专任教师46.5%;具有研究生学历及硕士学位教师172人(博士6人)，占专任教师44.9%;二级教授、博士生导师1人。“双师型”教师和兼职教师分别为188人和115人。

学校特色

当前，学校正全面加强内涵建设推动转型发展，作为广西“推进高等院校和大中型企业共建‘双师型’教师培养培训基地”，学校将按照“校市共建、校地相融、校企合作”的办学思路，将学校建成以“产教融合、校企合作”为人才培养基本模式，以教育学、工学为主要学科，以培养职业教育、基础教育师资及高素质技术技能型人才为主要任务的、特色鲜明的应用技术型地方本科院校——广西科技师范学院。

Guangxi normal University of Science and Technology is a full-time public ordinary undergraduate university, which is located in Laibin City, a new prefecture-level city known as “Guizhong”. Teachers’ strength

The school now has 383 full-time teachers, including 178 teachers with senior professional titles (34 with senior professional titles), accounting for 46.5% of full-time teachers, 172 teachers with postgraduate qualifications and master’s degrees (6 doctorates), accounting for 44.9% of full-time teachers, and 1 second-class professor and doctoral supervisor. The number of “double-qualified” teachers and part-time teachers are 188 and 115 respectively.

School characteristics

At present, the school is comprehensively strengthening connotation construction to promote transformation and development, as Guangxi’s “promoting colleges and universities and large and medium-sized enterprises to jointly build a ‘double-qualified’ teacher training base”. According to the school-city co-construction, school-site integration, and school-enterprise cooperation, the school will build the school with “industry-education integration and school-enterprise cooperation” as the basic mode of personnel training, with pedagogy and engineering as the main disciplines.
