中国矿业大学徐海学院简介

中国矿业大学是教育部直属的全国重点高校、国家“211工程”和“985优势学科创新平台项目”建设高校，同时也是教育部与江苏省人民政府、国家安全生产监督管理总局共建高校，学校设有研究生院。通过长期发展和建设，已经形成了以工科为主、以矿业为特色，理工文管等多学科协调发展的学科专业体系和多科性大学的基本格局。

中国矿业大学徐海学院学院设置

学校设有22个学院，现有59个本科专业，有35个一级学科硕士点，10个专业学位授权点，16个一级学科博士点，14个博士后科研流动站;有1个一级学科国家重点学科，8个国家重点学科，1个国家重点(培育)学科;8个“长江学者奖励计划”特聘教授设岗学科;4个省一级学科重点学科、6个“江苏高校优势学科建设工程”立项学科和1个“江苏高校优势学科建设工程”省重点序列学科。现有教职工3200多人，拥有1名中国科学院院士、15名中国工程院院士(其中外聘7名院士担任相关学院的院长或研究中心主任)。

多年来，学院坚持“学而优则用，学而优则创”的办学理念，以“培养德智体美全面发展，厚基础、精专业、重实践、强能力、高素质的应用性、复合型人才”为人才培养目标，不断完善人才培养方案，优化人才培养模式，强化学生创新精神、实践能力的培养，逐步形成了结构合理、优势明显的学科专业体系和注重实践、注重创新的人才培养特色，学院的办学水平不断提高。学院积极推进国际化战略，与澳大利亚格里菲斯大学、迪肯大学、爱尔兰国家学院、都柏林理工大学、法国拉罗谢尔高等商科学院等多所国外著名大学广泛开展合作，为学生拓宽国际视野、出国深造提供便利条件。

China University of Mining and Technology is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education and the national “211 Project” and “985 advantage discipline Innovation platform Project”. At the same time, it is also a university jointly built by the Ministry of Education, the people’s Government of Jiangsu Province and the State Administration of work Safety. Through long-term development and construction, it has formed a multi-disciplinary professional system and the basic pattern of multi-disciplinary universities, which is dominated by engineering, characterized by mining, and the coordinated development of multi-disciplines such as science and technology, culture and management.

Establishment of Xuhai College of China University of Mining and Technology

The school has 22 colleges, 59 undergraduate majors, 35 master’s degree programs in first-tier disciplines, 10 professional degree authorization programs, 16 first-tier discipline doctoral programs and 14 postdoctoral research stations; there are 1 national key discipline of first-tier discipline, 8 national key disciplines, 1 national key (nurturing) discipline, and 8 specially appointed professors of the Yangtze River Scholars Award Program. Four provincial-level key disciplines, six “Jiangsu University advantage discipline Construction Project” and one “Jiangsu University advantage discipline Construction Project” provincial key sequence disciplines. At present, there are more than 3200 faculty members, including 1 academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and 15 academicians of the Chinese Academy of Engineering (of which 7 academicians are employed as presidents of relevant colleges or directors of research centers).

School-running concept of Xuhai College of China University of Mining and Technology

For many years, the college adheres to the school-running concept of “learning while excellent is used, and excellent is creating”. With the goal of “cultivating all-round development of morality, intelligence, physique and beauty, thick foundation, fine specialty, emphasis on practice, strong ability, high-quality applied and compound talents”, the college constantly improves the talent training plan, optimizes the talent training mode, and strengthens the cultivation of students’ innovative spirit and practical ability. It has gradually formed a discipline and professional system with reasonable structure and obvious advantages, and the talent training characteristics of paying attention to practice and innovation, and the running level of the college has been continuously improved. The college actively promotes the internationalization strategy and cooperates extensively with many famous foreign universities, such as Griffith University in Australia, Deakin University, National College of Ireland, Dublin Polytechnic University, La Rochelle College of higher Business and so on. It provides convenient conditions for students to broaden their international horizons and go abroad for further study.
