贵州警官职业学院简介

学院前身是创建于1950年的贵州省人民政府公安干部学校，是贵州省唯一的一所普通专科教育为主的公安司法院校。成立迄今已有65年办学历史。

贵州警官职业学院办学规模

学院占地面积441536平方米(662.31亩)。校舍总面积18.33万平方米。学院现有教学科研仪器设备价值1.1040亿元。学院馆藏适用图书60.70万册。

学院现有全日制在校生5000余人。现设有侦查、治安管理、警察管理、禁毒、经济犯罪侦查、刑事技术、警犬技术、安全防范技术、法律文秘、法律事务、计算机应用技术、社区管理与服务12个专科专业。

学院教职工中，专任教师300人，正高职称的专业技术人员23人，副高职称的专业技术人员109人，博士12人，硕士104人，有1名教师被评为公安部高等院校教学名师，6人分别获“全国优秀教师”、“全国公安系统优秀教师”和“全国司法系统优秀教师”荣誉称号。2名教师被评为贵州省哲学社会科学学术带头人，5名教师被聘为贵州省社科院特约法学研究员。有10余名教师被聘为贵州大学等高校教授、硕士生导师和硕士生课程主讲教师，有30余名教师被聘为贵州大学等高校任课教师，有多名教师担任全国、贵州相关学术团体副主委、会长、副会长等。

学院《公文写作》、《案件言语识别》、《文件检验》、《法医学》、《犯罪心理学》、《刑事图像》等课程分别被评为国家级、省部级精品课程。近年来，学院获得省、部级优秀教学成果奖14项;其中一项为公安部部级优秀教学成果一等奖。在2012年8月公安部组织的首届全国公安院校教学技能大赛中，我院4名参赛教师分别获得现场专业教学一等奖1项，二等奖2项，三等奖1项。

近5年，学院教师出版著作10部;论文集5部;主编、副主编、参编教材48部;主持承担公安部等各级各类研究课题134项;在公开期刊上发表论文1213篇，其中北图核心期刊76篇。此外，学院共获得贵州省政府哲学社会科学优秀成果奖、省高校人文社科优秀成果奖、省委政法委优秀调研论文奖、省公安科技强警奖等各类政府奖52项。学院学报连续4届被评为全国优秀社科学报，公安法治栏目连续两届被评为全国社科学报特色栏目(学院现已入选武汉大学RCCSE中国学术期刊评价体系高职高专成高类核心学报)。

学院在校外建立了27个教学实习实训基地和建有52个校内实验场所。贵州警官职业学院将坚持科学发展，推进内涵建设，努力实现向培养应用型人才的公安本科教育转型。

Brief introduction of Guizhou Police Vocational College

The college, formerly known as the Public Security cadre School of the people’s Government of Guizhou Province, founded in 1950, is the only public security and judicial college in Guizhou Province based on general college education. It has been 65 years since its establishment.

The college covers an area of 441536 square meters (662.31 mu). The total area of the school building is 183300 square meters. The existing teaching and scientific research equipment of the college is worth 110.4 million yuan. The college has a collection of 607000 books.

The college has more than 5000 full-time students. There are 12 specialties in investigation, public security management, police management, drug control, economic crime investigation, criminal technology, police dog technology, security technology, legal secretarial, legal affairs, computer application technology, community management and service.

Among the faculty and staff of the college, there are 300 full-time teachers, 23 professional and technical personnel with high professional titles, 109 professional and technical personnel with deputy high professional titles, 12 doctors and 104 masters. One teacher was awarded as a famous teaching teacher in colleges and universities of the Ministry of Public Security, and 6 were awarded the honorary titles of “National excellent teacher”, “National excellent teacher of Public Security system” and “National excellent teacher of Judicial system” respectively. Two teachers were rated as academic leaders of philosophy and social sciences in Guizhou Province, and five teachers were employed as special law researchers of Guizhou Academy of Social Sciences. More than 10 teachers have been employed as professors, mentors and lecturers of master’s degree courses in Guizhou University and other universities, and more than 30 teachers have been employed as teachers in Guizhou University and other colleges and universities. there are a number of teachers serving as vice-chairmen, presidents and vice-presidents of relevant academic organizations in the country and Guizhou.

Honors of Guizhou Police Vocational College

The courses of “official document Writing”, “case speech recognition”, “document examination”, “Forensic Medicine”, “Criminal Psychology” and “Criminal Image” were awarded as national, provincial and ministerial level courses respectively. In recent years, the college has won 14 provincial and ministerial excellent teaching achievement awards, one of which is the first prize for excellent teaching achievements at the ministerial level of the Ministry of Public Security. In the first National Public Security College Teaching skills Competition organized by the Ministry of Public Security in August 2012, four teachers from our college won one first prize, two second prize and one third prize respectively.

In the past five years, college teachers have published 10 books, 5 essays, 48 chief editors, deputy editors and co-compilers of teaching materials, presided over 134 research projects at all levels, such as the Ministry of Public Security, and published 1213 papers in public periodicals. among them, 76 are the core journals of Beitu. In addition, the college has won 52 government awards, such as the Guizhou Provincial Government philosophy and Social Sciences Outstanding Achievement Award, the Provincial University Humanities and Social Sciences Outstanding Achievement Award, the Provincial Party Committee political and Law Commission excellent Research Paper Award, and the Provincial Public Security Science and Technology Police Award. The journal of the college has been awarded as the national excellent social science journal for four consecutive years, and the public security rule of law column has been named as the characteristic column of the national social science journal for two consecutive times (the college has been selected into the RCCSE evaluation system of Chinese academic journals of Wuhan University).

The college has set up 27 teaching practice and training bases and 52 on-campus experimental places outside the campus. Guizhou Police Vocational College will adhere to scientific development, promote connotation construction, and strive to realize the transformation to the undergraduate public security education of training applied talents.
