周口市人事考试中心隶属周口市人力资源和社会保障局，是参照公务员管理的事业单位，主要承担国家和河南省下达的人事考试任务，组织实施本市的各项考试工作。核定编制8名，经费实行财政全额预算管理，另挂周口市人事考试工作领导小组办公室牌子。目前设有综合室、考务室、微机室、办公室等 4个部门。

主要工作职能是：

一、负责全市人事考试工作的管理，根据上级下达的考试任务研究制定本市考试实施计划和工作安排;

二、组织实施本市专业技术人员职称外语等级考试;

三、组织实施本市专业技术人员各类专业技术职务资格、职业(执业)资格考试;

四、承担全市录用国家公务员的考试工作;

五、承担全市公开招聘(录)事业单位工作人员的考试工作;

六、承担有关单位组织委托的人事人才测评考试;

七、负责各类考试合格人员《资格证书》、《合格证书》的审核办理。

八、负责全国统一考试指定教材的征订发放工作;

九、完成上级领导交办的其他工作。
