学校介绍

同济大学医学院历史源远而流长。1907年成立的“德文医学堂”是同济医学专业的开端，也是同济大学的雏形。历经百年沧桑，在新世纪之初，医学重新扎根于同济大学，成为重点建设的学科，走上复兴之路。同济大学医学院通过“分段要求、贯通培养、坚持标准、合理分流”的人才培养模式，致力于培养有社会责任感、能引领学科发展、具有国际竞争力的高层次拔尖创新医学人才。

机构设置

同济大学医学院设有基础医学院、预防医学院(筹)和七个附属医院：附属同济医院、附属第十人民医院、附属东方医院、附属口腔医院、附属上海市肺科医院、附属第一妇婴保健院、附属上海同济宝隆医院、附属上海养志康复医院。主要开展临床医学专业的本科生(包括五年制、七年制和八年制)和研究生培养，授予学士、硕士和博士学位。医学院以培养全面、人道的医学生为目的，遵循“以人为本”的思想，
秉承精英化医学教育的理念，充分利用同济大学学科门类齐全，教学设施完备，理工文法实力雄厚的特点，利用长期对外合作办学的优势，通过开展“名师上讲台”、加强学生创新能力培养等方式，力求培养出融知识、能力、人格为一体的文、理、医相结合的人才。

科研成果

医学院拥有世界卫生组织命名的“WHO围产保健合作中心”;拥有两个上海市重点学科(胸外科重点学科和护理学科重点学科)、三个上海市重点专科(心力衰竭诊治重点专科、口腔种植修复重点专科和创伤骨科重点专科);中医心脑血管和视觉复明(与外院共建)两个上海市临床医学中心;拥有上海市产前诊断中心和上海市早产儿医疗护理中心;拥有上海市结核(肺)重点实验室。通过大力引进和培养人才、营造科研氛围，学科建设有了突破性的发展，在《Science》等国际学术刊物上发表了重要学术论文，获得了包括国家科技进步二等奖、教育部自然科学一等奖、上海市科技进步奖、上海市医学科技奖等在内的一批科研成果。

School introduction

The Medical College of Tongji University has a long history. German Medical School, founded in 1907, is not only the beginning of Tongji medical specialty, but also the embryonic form of Tongji University. After a hundred years of vicissitudes, medicine has re-rooted in Tongji University, become a key discipline and embarked on the road of revival at the beginning of the new century. Through the talent training mode of “sectional requirements, consistent training, adherence to standards and reasonable diversion”, the Medical College of Tongji University is committed to training high-level innovative medical talents with a sense of social responsibility, leading discipline development and international competitiveness.

Mechanism setup

The School of Medicine of Tongji University has basic Medical College, Preventive Medical College (chip) and seven affiliated hospitals: affiliated Tongji Hospital, affiliated Tenth people’s Hospital, affiliated Oriental Hospital, affiliated Stomatological Hospital, affiliated Shanghai Lung Hospital, affiliated first Maternal and Child Health Hospital, affiliated Shanghai Tongji Baolong Hospital, affiliated Shanghai Yangzhi Rehabilitation Hospital. It mainly carries out the training of undergraduates (including five-year, seven-year and eight-year) and postgraduates majoring in clinical medicine, awarding bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees. For the purpose of training comprehensive and humane medical students, the medical school follows the idea of “people-oriented”.

Adhering to the concept of elite medical education, making full use of the characteristics of Tongji University with complete disciplines, complete teaching facilities and strong grammar of science and technology, and making use of the advantages of long-term foreign cooperation in running schools, by carrying out “famous teachers on the podium” and strengthening the cultivation of students’ innovative ability, we strive to cultivate talents who combine liberal arts, science and medicine with knowledge, ability and personality.

Scientific research achievements

The Medical College has the WHO Perinatal Health Care Cooperation Center named by the World Health Organization; it has two Shanghai key disciplines (thoracic surgery and nursing key disciplines), three Shanghai key specialties (heart failure diagnosis and treatment, oral implant restoration and trauma orthopaedics); and two Shanghai clinical medical centers of traditional Chinese medicine, cardio-cerebrovascular and visual fuming (co-built with other hospitals). It has Shanghai Prenatal diagnosis Center, Shanghai premature Infant Medical Care Center and Shanghai Tuberculosis (Lung) key Laboratory. Through vigorously introducing and training talents and creating a scientific research atmosphere, discipline construction has made a breakthrough. Important academic papers have been published in international academic journals such as Science, and a number of scientific research achievements have been won, including the second prize for national scientific and technological progress, the first prize for natural science of the Ministry of Education, the Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award, and the Shanghai Medical Science and Technology Award.

Teaching idea

According to the trinity training goal of “knowledge, ability and personality” of Tongji University, the medical school takes the establishment of teaching quality assurance and continuous improvement system, highlighting the teaching characteristics of clinical practice skills and humanistic service spirit, paying attention to the cultivation of college students’ innovative ability and international cooperative education as the main line that runs through the educational ideas of medical schools.
