肇庆学院

肇庆学院为公办全日制综合性本科大学，创办于1970年。

学校地处珠三角核心区广东省肇庆市端州区，坐落于国家级重点风景名胜星湖景区内，校园总占地面积1214.3亩，环境优美，先后获评为“全国绿化模范单位”、“广东省文明单位”，2012年成功入选50所“全国毕业生就业典型经验高校”。

学校有经济学、法学、教育学、文学、历史学、理学、工学、农学、管理学、艺术学等十大学科门类，59个本科专业，面向广东、广西、湖南、甘肃、湖北、河南、河北、江西、辽宁、山东、云南、山西、吉林、海南、贵州、陕西、宁夏、内蒙古、新疆等21个省市招生，具备招收留学生和港、澳、台学生资格。

学校现有全日制在校生22893人，教职工1375人，“双聘”院士1人，教授等正高职称人员110人，副高以上职称人员420人，具有博士学位人员187人，具有硕士学位人员542人。以西江学者为代表的高层次人才队伍不断壮大;一批享誉海内外的专家、学者受聘担任学校的客座教授。拥有1个教育部批准特色专业，5个省级特色专业，1个省级重点扶持学科，6个省级实验教学基地。

学校硬件设施完善。现有教学仪器设备超过1.2亿元，学校图书馆纸质藏书144.3万册，电子图书2335GB，纸质报刊1500多种，拥有音像、光盘等资料20000多种(件)，开通了《中国数字图书馆》、《中国期刊网》、《Springer
Link》等10多个全文数据库。

学校将教师教育作为立校之本，同时设有多个非师范专业，向多科性、综合型院校方向发展，坚持以培养知识面宽、基础扎实、具有较强适应性和实践能力的应用型高级专门人才为培养目标定位。学校先后与英、美、日、澳、意、蒙古、印尼等多所高校开展密切的学术交流。

学校重视校园文化建设，积极组织学生参加科技、文化、体育、艺术竞赛活动，在“全国大学生电子设计竞赛”、“全国大学生数学建模竞赛”、“挑战杯”大学生课外学术科技作品竞赛、全国大学生艺术展演等各类比赛中屡获殊荣，共12次被中宣部、教育部、团中央和全国学联评为全国大学生社会实践活动先进单位。

Zhaoqing College is a public full-time comprehensive undergraduate university, founded in 1970.

The school is located in Duanzhou District, Zhaoqing City, Guangdong Province, the core area of the Pearl River Delta, and is located in Xinghu Scenic spot, a national key scenic spot. The campus covers a total area of 1214.3 mu and has a beautiful environment. It has been awarded as “National Greening Model Unit” and “Guangdong Civilization Unit”. In 2012, it was successfully selected into 50 “National Graduate Employment typical experience Universities”.

The school has ten disciplines, including economics, law, pedagogy, literature, history, science, engineering, agronomy, management and art, with 59 undergraduate majors. Enrollment is open to 21 provinces and cities, including Guangdong, Guangxi, Hunan, Gansu, Hubei, Henan, Hebei, Jiangxi, Liaoning, Shandong, Yunnan, Shanxi, Jilin, Hainan, Guizhou, Shaanxi, Ningxia, Inner Mongolia and Xinjiang. At present, the school has 22893 full-time students, 1375 teaching staff, 1 academician with “double employment”, 110professors and other senior professional titles, 420 professional titles above deputy high school, 187doctoral degree personnel and 542 master’s degree personnel. The team of high-level talents represented by Xijiang scholars continues to grow, and a number of experts and scholars who are renowned at home and abroad have been employed as visiting professors of the school. The school has perfect hardware facilities. The existing teaching equipment exceeds 120 million yuan, the school library has a paper collection of 1.443 million books, 2335GB, more than 1500 kinds of paper newspapers and periodicals, more than 20000 kinds of audio-visual, CD-ROM and other materials, and has opened “China Digital Library”, “China periodical Network” and “Springer”.
