六盘水职业技术学院

六盘水职业技术学院是2002年经贵州省人民政府批准，国家教育部备案的一所全日制公办高等专科院校，位于中国凉都和江南煤海之地贵州省六盘水市，占地面积37公顷，规划建筑面积14万平方米，绿化面积12万平方米。原全国人大常委会副委员长、著名人类学家、社会学家费孝通先生题写了校名。

六盘水职业技术学院于2002年6月经省政府批准，由原六盘水市农校、财校、卫校、农科所、林科所、农机所合并组建成立。2010年9月，学院实现了集中办学。在边建设、边办学、边发展的过程中，经过“教学、人事、财务、后勤”四项改革，已发展成为一所具有一定办学规模、办学实力和办学水平的高职院校。

学院紧密结合西部大开发和六盘水及周边地区实际，积极探索教学改革,重视实践教学，突出培养学生的操作技能;面向市场需要，科学设置专业;充分发挥科研优势，注重“产学研相结合、教科训一体化”;培养生产、建设、管理、服务第一线需要的具有较强实践操作技能的高级职业技术人才。学院围绕以人为本的育人理念，形成了以培养学生能上岗的个人综合素质与相对竞争力为核心的育人思想体系，学院高度重视学生职业技能训练，学生综合素质高，就业竞争力强，2010年以来毕业生就业率85%以上，部分就业率高达90，毕业生普遍受到用人单位的好评。为社会培育了更多具有创新思维、学习能力和实践能力的应用型、实用型人才。

Liupanshui Vocational and Technical College is a full-time public college approved by the Guizhou Provincial people’s Government in 2002 and filed by the Ministry of Education. It is located in Liupanshui City, Guizhou Province, which is the capital of Liangdu in China and the coal sea in the south of the Yangtze River. It covers an area of 37 hectares, with a planned construction area of 140000 square meters and a greening area of 120000 square meters. Mr. Fei Xiaotong, a famous anthropologist and sociologist and former vice chairman of the standing Committee of the National people’s Congress, wrote the name of the school.

Approved by the provincial government in June 2002, Liupanshui Vocational and Technical College was established by the merger of the former Liupanshui Agricultural School, Finance School, Health School, Agricultural Science Institute, Forestry Institute and Agricultural Machinery Institute. In September 2010, the college achieved a centralized school. In the process of construction, running a school and developing at the same time, through four reforms of “teaching, personnel, finance and logistics”, it has developed into a higher vocational college with a certain scale, strength and level of running a school.

In close connection with the development of the western region and the reality of Liupanshui and its surrounding areas, the college actively explores teaching reform, attaches importance to practical teaching, highlights the cultivation of students’ operational skills, sets up majors scientifically to meet the needs of the market, and gives full play to the advantages of scientific research. pay attention to “the combination of industry, learning and research, the integration of education and education”; train senior vocational and technical personnel with strong practical skills needed in the front line of production, construction, management and service. Centering on the concept of people-oriented education, the college has formed an educational ideological system with the core of cultivating students’ personal comprehensive quality and relative competitiveness. The college attaches great importance to students’ vocational skills training, and students’ comprehensive quality is high. Employment competitiveness is strong. Since 2010, the employment rate of graduates is more than 85%, and some of them are as high as 90%. Graduates are generally praised by employers.
