南方医科大学继续教育学院

南方医科大学(Southern Medical
University)，原中国人民解放军第一军医大学，广东省“211工程”省属重点大学，教育部“卓越医生教育培养计划”试点高校，广东省一级园林式院校。创建于1951年，1979年被确定为中国重点大学，于2004年被批准为中国8所试办八年制医学教育的高等院校之一。2004年8月，学校按照国务院、中央军委下达的命令，整体移交广东省，更名为南方医科大学。

根据2015年5月学校官网显示，学校有校本部、顺德校区2个校区，占地面积176.68万平方米，建筑面积84.67万平方米。有全日制在校生15514人，其中本专科生12061人、研究生3027人、留学生501人。

医疗实力

学校拥有6个广东省医学重点专科， 广东省35项
“名医工程项目”我校占9项。有直属附属医院6所，其中第一临床医学院(南方医院)、第二临床医学院(珠江医院)都是高水平综合性教学医院，展开床位5000余张。在消化病诊治、肾病的综合治疗、中西医结合诊疗、肾肝移植、异体手移植、造血干细胞移植、心脑血管介入、创伤修复、新生儿重症救治和围产医学等方面形成了明显的特色优势。

科研平台

截至2014年6月，学校有4个国家重点实验室，国家中医药管理局三级科研实验室1个，2个省部共建重点实验室，12个广东省重点实验室，4个广东省教育厅重点实验室，校级研究所17个。

Southern Medical University (Southern Medical

University), the former first military Medical University of the Chinese people’s Liberation Army, the key university of Guangdong Province under the “211 Project”, the pilot university of the “excellent Doctor Education and training Program” of the Ministry of Education, and the first-class garden-style college in Guangdong Province. Founded in 1951, it was identified as a key university in China in 1979 and was approved as one of the 8 institutions of higher learning in China to offer eight-year medical education on a trial basis in 2004. In August 2004, the school was handed over to Guangdong Province as a whole in accordance with the order issued by the State Council and the Central military Commission, and its name was changed to Southern Medical University.

According to the school’s official website in May 2015, the school has two campuses, the school headquarters and Shunde campus, covering an area of 1.7668 million square meters and a construction area of 846700 square meters. There are 15514 full-time students, including 12061 undergraduate students, 3027 graduate students and 501 foreign students.

There are 2 national teaching teams, 236 doctoral supervisors and 639 master’s degree supervisors, and 133 people have successively enjoyed the special allowance of the State Council.

Medical strength

The school has 6 key medical specialties in Guangdong Province, 35 in Guangdong Province.

There are 9 famous medical engineering projects in our school. There are 6 directly affiliated hospitals, of which the first Clinical Medical College (Southern Hospital) and the second Clinical Medical College (Zhujiang Hospital) are high-level comprehensive teaching hospitals with more than 5000 beds. It has formed obvious characteristic advantages in the diagnosis and treatment of digestive diseases, comprehensive treatment of nephropathy, integrated diagnosis and treatment of traditional Chinese and western medicine, kidney and liver transplantation, allogeneic hand transplantation, hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, cardio-cerebrovascular intervention, wound repair, neonatal critical treatment and perinatal medicine.

Scientific research platform

As of June 2014, the school has four state key laboratories, one third-level scientific research laboratory of the State Administration of traditional Chinese Medicine, two provincial key laboratories, 12 key laboratories of Guangdong Province, four key laboratories of Guangdong Department of Education, and 17 school-level research institutes.
