贵州交通职业技术学院简介

贵州交通职业技术学院是经贵州省人民政府批准成立，国家教育部备案的全日制普通高校。是一所以交通为特色的综合性高职院校，也是我省唯一的国家示范性高职院校。学院老校区坐落于贵阳市城区西北，分南、北两个校区;学院新校区坐落在清镇职教城。学院校区依山傍水，总占地面积1550亩，建筑面积50余万方，各类教学设施齐全。

学院以培养交通建设、管理、服务类高技能人才为主，并积极适应社会发展需求培养经济、信息、旅游、计算机、艺术、物流、航运等实用型高端技能专业人才，面向全国23个省(市)招生。学院共设八系(道路与桥梁工程系、汽车工程系、建筑工程系、管理工程系、信息工程系、机电工程系、物流工程系、航运工程系)、二部(基础部、成教部)、一个交通技师学院、一个驾驶技工学校，开设55个专业，涵盖交通运输领域及相关行业。学院道路桥梁工程技术、汽车运用技术、建筑工程技术、工程机械控制技术等四个专业为国家高职高专示范专业;公路监理、旅游、会计电算化、计算机应用技术专业为省级高职高专重点专业。学院现有全日制在校学生14000人，教职工490余人，其中专任教师350余人，副高以上职称100余人，其中正高职称16人。

此外，学院还充分发挥国家示范院校引领作用，不断深化教育教学改革，大力探索应用型本科学历教育模式，培养本科层次高技能应用型人才。目前，与贵州大学、贵州师范大学联办的应用型本科班在校生人数已达400人。

学院历史沿革

1958年，贵州交通厅干部学校、重庆交通干部学校合并组建贵州省交通学校。

2000年，贵州省交通学校、贵州交通干部学校、贵州省汽车驾驶技工学校合并升格为贵州交通职业技术学院。

2010年，学院通过国家示范性高职院校项目建设验收，成为全国100所国家示范性高职院校之一。

学院坚持“面向社会、依托行业”办学，现已凝练形成独具特色的“厂中校、校中厂，做中学、学中做”为人才培养模式。在全省率先建成国家级、省级重点专业8个，教育部国家教学资源课程3门、国家级、省级精品课程20门，培养出国家级教学名师2名，“贵州省科技创新人才团队”及省级专业教学团队2个，开发出版、教材216门。学院人才培养模式改革荣获国家教学科研二等奖。

学院注重学生职业能力培养，依托设在学校的“贵州省第二、第八十三国家职业技能鉴定所”、
“全国高技能人才培养基地”、“国家级汽车和建筑专业紧缺技能型人才培训基地”等社会培训及服务机构，强化学生职业能力培养，推行多证书(职业技能考核等级证书)制度。

学院注重师资队伍能力建设建设，充分利用设在学校的“全国重点建设职业教育师资培养培训基地”、“贵州省交通技能成才基地”及“贵州省省级职业院校师资培训基地”等平台，加强教师培养培训，不断提高教师执教的能力和水平。，

Brief introduction of Guizhou Jiaotong Vocational and Technical College

Guizhou Vocational and Technical College of Communications is a full-time ordinary university established with the approval of the people’s Government of Guizhou Province and filed by the Ministry of Education. It is a comprehensive higher vocational college characterized by transportation, and it is also the only national exemplary higher vocational college in our province. The old campus of the college is located in the northwest of Guiyang City, which is divided into southern and northern campuses, while the new campus is located in Qingzhen Vocational Education City. The college campus relies on mountains and water, covering a total area of 1550 mu, with a construction area of more than 500,000 square meters and complete teaching facilities.

The college focuses on training high-skilled talents in transportation construction, management and service, and actively meets the needs of social development to train practical high-end skilled professionals such as economy, information, tourism, computer, art, logistics and shipping. Enrollment is open to 23 provinces (cities) across the country. The college has eight departments (Department of Road and Bridge Engineering, Department of Automotive Engineering, Department of Architectural Engineering, Department of Management Engineering, Department of Information Engineering, Department of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Department of Logistics Engineering, Department of Shipping Engineering), two departments (basic Department, Adult Education Department), a traffic technician college and a driving technician school, offering 55 majors, covering transportation and related industries. The four majors of road and bridge engineering technology, automobile application technology, construction engineering technology and construction machinery control technology are demonstration majors in national higher vocational colleges; highway supervision, tourism, computerized accounting and computer application technology are key majors in provincial higher vocational colleges. The college now has 14000 full-time students and more than 490 faculty members, including more than 350 full-time teachers and more than 100 associate senior professional titles, including 16 Zhenggao professional titles.

In addition, the college also gives full play to the leading role of national model colleges, continuously deepens education and teaching reform, vigorously explores the model of application-oriented undergraduate education, and trains high-skilled applied talents at the undergraduate level. At present, the number of students in the applied undergraduate class jointly run by Guizhou University and Guizhou normal University has reached 400.

Historical evolution of the college

In 1958, Guizhou Communications Department cadre School and Chongqing Traffic cadre School merged to form Guizhou Traffic School.

In 2000, Guizhou Traffic School, Guizhou Traffic cadre School and Guizhou Automobile driving Technical School were merged and upgraded to Guizhou Traffic Vocational and Technical College.

In 2010, the college passed the acceptance of the national demonstration higher vocational college project and became one of the 100 national demonstration higher vocational colleges in the country.

In the whole province, we have taken the lead in building 8 national and provincial key majors, 3 national teaching resources courses and 20 national and provincial quality courses of the Ministry of Education. 2 national teachers, 2 “Guizhou Provincial Science and Technology Innovation talents team” and 2 provincial professional teaching teams have been trained, and 216 teaching materials have been developed and published. The reform of the talent training mode of the college won the second prize of national teaching and scientific research.
