陕西铁路工程职业技术学院

陕西铁路工程职业技术学院创办于1973年，前身是铁道部渭南铁路工程学校。2002年由铁道部划归陕西省人民政府，2003年经陕西省人民政府批准、教育部备案，改制升格为专科层次的高等职业技术学院。学院以交通运输类和土木工程类专业为主干，培养铁路、城轨、公路、建筑等基础设施工程建设管理需要的技术技能人才，形成了以大专层次的全日制高职教育为主，成人教育、短期培训和技能培训鉴定相结合的办学格局。

学校概况

学院地处“三秦要道，八省通衢”的渭南市区。建有临渭、高新两个校区，占地面积1050亩，各类在校学生13000余人。所有教室配备多媒体设备;图书馆藏书70余万册，实现了现代化管理及开架借阅;两校区均建有400米八跑道标准田径运动场、文体中心、乒乓球馆等，体育设施齐全先进;学生食堂被教育厅授予“高校标准化学生食堂”称号，学生宿舍实行标准化管理。

学院依托铁路行业办学、突出铁路特色育人。设有铁道工程系、轨道工程系、道桥工程系、测绘工程系、建筑工程系、管理工程系、机电工程系、电气与信息工程系、基础课部、思想政治理论教学科研部、继续教育部、体育教学部八系四部。开设：铁道工程技术、高速铁道技术、道路桥梁工程技术、地下工程与隧道工程技术、城市轨道交通工程技术、城市轨道运营管理、盾构施工技术、工程测量技术、材料工程技术、建筑工程技术、工程造价、工程监理、物流管理、铁道交通运营管理、工程机械运用与维护、铁道通信信号、铁道电气化技术等三十三个专业。

学院现有国家级教学成果奖2项、省级教学成果奖7项，国家精品资源共享课1门、省级精品课程8门，中央财政重点支持建设专业5个、省级重点专业7个，中央财政支持建设的实训基地2个、省级实训基地6个，国家级优秀教师1人、全国“五一巾帼标兵”1人、全国职业教育先进个人1人、全国职业教育轨道交通行业名师3人、省级职教名师6人、省级教学团队4个、省级教学名师4人。建有各类试验实训基地(室)70个，其中测绘教学实训基地占地349亩;在中国中铁、中国铁建、18个铁路局建有126个校外实训基地;试验实训设备固定资产总值达到9018.75万元。

Shaanxi Railway Engineering Vocational and Technical College was founded in 1973, formerly known as Weinan Railway Engineering School of the Ministry of Railways.
