达州职业技术学院位于中国气都-达州市
学院办学历史可追溯到1940年，2001年4月由达县农业学校，达州卫生学校，达州教育学院，达县农机学校组合而成，经四川省人民政府批准、国家教育部备案的一所综合性全日制普通高等院校，四川省省级示范性高等职业院校培育单位。是四川成立最早的8所高职院校之一，是川内高职高专院校医学专业最齐全的院校之一，是川内最早开设临床医学专业的高职院校。是川东地区唯一一所以医学专业为主的高等院校。学院开设涵盖农业类、医药卫生类、教育类、现代服务类、加工制造类、艺术类等50余个专业，设9系4部。

院系机构

师范系是在原达县教育学院、达州职业技术学院师范部的基础上，由语言文学艺术系和小学教育系合并而成，拥有数十年办学底蕴，师资力量雄厚，现有70多人的专兼职师资队伍，其中教授3人，副教授以上职称占38%，讲师占52%。

教学建设

达州职业技术学院是一所综合性全日制国办普通高等学校。学院现占地面积1020亩，建筑面积29万平方米，固定资产17000余万元，馆藏图书68万册。建有附属医院2家，非直属附属医院2家;建有中央财政支持的护理实训基地和数控实训基地;建有机电教学实习基地，畜牧兽医教学做一体化基地，校外实习基地140多家。

科研成果

从1940年算起，学院已逾70年办学历程，共为社会培养了万余名各类合格人才，涌现出一批在国内外颇有影响的优秀人才，绝大部分毕业生成长为全省乃至全国各条战线上的领导干部或技术骨干。在长期的办学实践中，学院积累了丰富的办学经验，形成了“励精图治、艰苦创业、于时俱进、奋发有为”的学院精神，取得了良好的办学效益。先后被授予“省级文明单位”、“全省职教工作先进单位”，被确认为“国家星火学校”、省、市“劳务开发培训基地”、全国“电子产品营销员全国统一鉴定培训考核点”、国家级职业技能鉴定站，全国“紧缺型护理人才培养基地”之一，湘鄂渝川黔五省边区校际协作会员单位。

学术资源

学院正牢牢抓住西南职教园区建设重大发展机遇，围绕“整体规划、整体设计、分期建设、分批入驻”的总体思路，投资近8亿元，占地850亩，力争三年初具规模、五年基本建成，在职教园区建成生态环境优美、生活设施齐全、教学设备先进的达州职业技术学院新校区。学院继续坚持以就业为导向，以素质教育为核心，以师资队伍建设为根本，进一步强化内涵建设，大力推进职业教育人才培养模式和教学模式改革创新，不断提高办学质量，争创高职名校，为达州市打造“一枢纽、两中心、三基地”，建设秦巴地区经济文化强市作出新的贡献。

Dazhou Vocational and Technical College is located in Dazhou, the gas capital of China.

The history of running the college can be traced back to 1940. In April 2001, it was composed of Daxian Agricultural School, Dazhou Health School, Dazhou Institute of Education and Daxian Agricultural Machinery School. Approved by the Sichuan Provincial people’s Government and filed by the Ministry of Education, it is a comprehensive full-time ordinary university and a provincial demonstration higher vocational college training unit in Sichuan Province. It is one of the earliest 8 higher vocational colleges in Sichuan, one of the most complete medical majors in Sichuan higher vocational colleges, and the first higher vocational college in Sichuan to set up clinical medicine major. It is the only university specializing in medicine in eastern Sichuan. The college offers more than 50 majors covering agriculture, medicine and health, education, modern services, processing and manufacturing, art, etc., with 9 departments and 4 departments.

College and department organization

On the basis of the former Daxian College of Education and the normal Department of Dazhou Vocational and Technical College, the normal Department is formed by the merger of the Department of language, Literature and Art and the Department of Primary Education. It has a history of running a school for decades and has a strong force of teachers. there are more than 70 full-time and part-time teachers, of which 3 are professors, 38% are associate professors and 52% are lecturers.

Teaching construction

Dazhou Vocational and Technical College is a comprehensive full-time state-run ordinary university. The college now covers an area of 1020 mu, with a construction area of 290000 square meters, fixed assets of more than 17000 million yuan and a collection of 680000 books. There are 2 affiliated hospitals and 2 non-directly affiliated hospitals; nursing training bases and numerical control training bases supported by central finance; mechanical and electrical teaching practice bases, animal husbandry and veterinary teaching as integrated bases, and more than 140 off-campus practice bases.

Scientific research achievements
