南开大学滨海学院

南开大学滨海学院是2004年经教育部批准设立，由南开大学和天津市滨海新区政府按照新的模式和机制合作创办的全日制普通本科高校，坐落于天津市滨海新区大港高教生态园内。

学院为股份制合作办学实体，具有独立的校园和基本办学设施，实施独立的教学组织与管理，具有独立法人资格，实行董事会领导下的院长负责制。

学院拥有千亩校园，万人规模，总建筑面积22万余平方米，在校生9799人。学院面向全国招生，学生毕业后颁发国家统一印制的南开大学滨海学院毕业证书，符合学位授予条件的授予南开大学滨海学院学士学位证书。

10年多来，在各级领导的亲切关怀与社会各界的支持下，滨海学院整体办学实力迈上了新的台阶，赢得了社会各界的广泛赞誉。2006 年、2007
年学院被中国教育科学研究院等单位分别授予中国最具竞争力独立学院和中国十大名牌独立学院称号。2007年，天津市教委、人事局授予学院天津市教育系统先进集体荣誉称号。同年5月，时任中央政治局委员、天津市委书记张高丽来学院视察，对学院校园规划和办学特色给予高度评价。学院党委分别被天津市委教工委、南开大学党委授予天津市教育系统先进基层党组织和红旗党组织称号。

滨海学院紧密依托南开大学优质教育资源，根据经济和社会发展，特别是滨海新区开发开放的需要设置专业。现设有经济管理、金融、外语、法政学、艺术、信息管理、计算机科学、电子科学、环境科学与工程等
9个系、40个专业方向。各系(专业)主任由南开大学相关院系负责人或有丰富教学和管理经验的专家、教授担任，500余名任课教师主要来自南开大学，其中大部分任课教师具有副教授以上高级职称，并有多位博士生导师直接授课。

滨海学院积极开展对外交流与合作，把跨文化观念融入教学和校园文化之中，体现了国际化的办学理念。学院从美国、日本聘请多名外籍教师任教，并与美国圣克劳德州立大学、明尼苏达大学、威斯康辛大学，英国BPP大学、诺森比亚大学、埃塞克斯大学，日本城西国际大学、函馆大学、山梨学院大学、色彩设计研究所，澳大利亚墨尔本皇家理工大学、埃迪斯科文大学，台湾南开科技大学、侨光科技大学等10余所国际(地区)高校和研究机构建立了合作关系。已开展或正在推进的有中外合作办专业、推荐毕业生到国外大学攻读硕士研究生、2+2联合培养双学位本科生、3+2本硕连读、4+2本硕连考连读、学生短期互访交流、教师短期研修、教师及后备干部境外培训和共同举办国际学术会议等项目。

The Binhai College of Nankai University is a full-time undergraduate university established by Nankai University and the government of Tianjin Binhai New area according to the new model and mechanism approved by the Ministry of Education in 2004. it is located in the Dagang higher Education Ecological Park of Tianjin Binhai New area.

The college is a joint-stock cooperative school-running entity, with independent campus and basic school facilities, independent teaching organization and management, independent legal personality, and dean responsibility system under the leadership of the board of directors.
