浙江大学城市学院(Zhejiang University City
College)，简称“浙大城院”，坐落于有“人间天堂”之称的历史文化名城——杭州，由中华人民共和国教育部和浙江省人民政府批准设立，是浙江大学、杭州市人民政府与浙江省电信实业集团共同发起创办的全日制本科普通高校。

根据2015年4月学校官网显示，学校占地1000余亩，校舍面积40万余平方米;辖9个学院，开办39个本科专业，3个中外合作办学项目，6个中外课程合作项目;有教职工1000余名，全日制本科学生13100余名。

浙江大学城市学院(Zhejiang University City
College，ZUCC)成立于1999年7月，是国家教育部和浙江省人民政府批准设立，由浙江大学、杭州市人民政府合作办学，并与浙江省电信实业集团共同发起创办的全日制本科普通高校。

1998年，原浙江大学、杭州大学、浙江农业大学、浙江医科大学四校合并组建新的浙江大学，同时浙江大学与杭州市人民政府决定合作举办一所与地方经济建设和社会发展需求紧密结合的新型大学。

2013年起，浙江大学城市学院土木工程专业、资产评估专业相继被批准列入浙江省本科第一批次(一本)招生。

2014年，CTUC暨CCES-TUWB第十八届年会在学校召开。

师资队伍

根据2015年4月学校官网显示，学校有教职工1000余名，其中专职教师800余名，超过50%的教师具有高级技术职务，超过88%的教师具有硕士以上学历;此外，学校拥有浙江省新世纪151人才工程24人，浙江省之江青年社科学者1人，浙江省教学名师2人，浙江省教坛新秀4人，钱江特聘专家6人。

校徽含义：学校以浙江大学校徽为基础，校徽两侧为浙江大学城市学院校名的英文简称“ZUCC”，校徽中间标志为浙江大学的求是鹰，外圆为学校的中文校名。

吉祥物

“大城小C”作为浙江大学城市学院的吉祥物，源自于浙江大学的校徽图案是求是鹰，城市学院的校徽则是求是雏鹰。选择雏鹰作为校园吉祥物，一方面是传承了浙大的“求是”精神，另一方面可以展现新型学府年轻学子的青春风貌。

City College of Zhejiang University (Zhejiang University City

College,ZUCC), established in July 1999, is a full-time undergraduate university approved by the Ministry of Education and the people’s Government of Zhejiang Province, run by Zhejiang University and Hangzhou Municipal people’s Government, and co-founded with Zhejiang Telecom Industry Group.

In 1998, the former Zhejiang University, Hangzhou University, Zhejiang Agricultural University and Zhejiang Medical University merged to form a new Zhejiang University. at the same time, Zhejiang University and the people’s Government of Hangzhou decided to cooperate to establish a new university that is closely integrated with the needs of local economic construction and social development.

Since 2013, the majors of civil engineering and asset evaluation of the City College of Zhejiang University have been approved to be included in the first batch of undergraduate enrollment in Zhejiang Province.

In 2014, the 18th annual meeting of CTUC and CCES-TUWB was held in the school.

According to the school’s official website in April 2015, the school has more than 1000 teaching staff, including more than 800full-time teachers, more than 50% of them have senior technical positions, and more than 88% of the teachers have master’s degrees or above. In addition, the school has 24 people in Zhejiang New Century Talent Project, 1 youth social science scholar in Zhijiang, 2 famous teachers in Zhejiang Province, 4 rookie teachers in Zhejiang Province, and 6 specially hired experts in Qianjiang.

School emblem meaning: the school is based on the school emblem of Zhejiang University. On both sides of the school emblem is the English abbreviation “ZUCC” of the name of the City College of Zhejiang University. The middle logo of the school emblem is the Qiushi Eagle of Zhejiang University, and the outer circle is the Chinese name of the school.

Mascot

As the mascot of the City College of Zhejiang University, “Big City and small C” derives from the fact that the school emblem of Zhejiang University is an eagle, while the city college’s emblem is a baby eagle. Choosing the baby eagle as the campus mascot, on the one hand, inherits the “seeking truth” spirit of Zhejiang University, on the other hand, it can show the youthful style of the young students in the new university.
