简介

湖南财政经济学院地处湖南省长沙市风景秀丽的湘江之滨、岳麓山下，是一所由湖南省人民政府主办、省教育厅主管、省财政厅协管的全日制本科院校。

学院前身是1933年创办的“厚生会计讲习所”，创办者是熊崇煦、李肖聃、王季范、陈家瓒等我国近代著名的教育家和经济学家。他们早年求学于日本，归国后致力于传播经世济用理念和西方先进的管理方法。学校创办后，便秉承“厚德载物，惠及民生”的湖湘学派经世济用理念，成为中国近代会计技术传播和会计人才培养的摇篮之一。1942年，厚生会计讲习所改名为湖南私立厚生会计补习学校。

解放后，私立厚生会计补习学校由湖南省人民政府接管，并于1951年更名为“湖南厚生会计学校”，由私立改为公办。此后，又相继更名为湖南省财政学校、湖南省财贸学校、湖南省财政会计学校、湖南省财会学校等。1985年由湖南省财会学校升格为湖南财经专科学校，1993年更名为“湖南财经高等专科学校”。2010年3月，经教育部批准，学校升格为普通本科院校，正式定名为“湖南财政经济学院”。

经过多年的建设，学院已经发展成为一所以经济、管理学科为主体，办学特色鲜明、教育竞争力不断增强的省属财经本科院校。学院与正在建设中的长沙西湖文化公园、梅溪湖毗邻而居，枫林二路、金星大道和新开通的地铁二号线为学院提供着便利的交通条件。校园内绿树成荫，花团锦簇，被誉为省级“园林式单位”，是莘莘学子理想的求学之地。

学院现有在校学生1万余人，占地面积760多亩，设有10个教学系部，即会计系、财政金融系、工商管理系、信息管理系、工程管理系、外语系、法学与公共管理系、思想政治理论课部、基础课部、体育课部。至2014年底，开设有会计学、财务管理、审计学、财政学、金融学、税收学、市场营销、国际商务、国际经济与贸易、物流管理、人力资源管理、行政管理、计算机科学与技术、信息管理与信息系统、电子信息工程、电子商务、英语、日语、翻译、商务英语、工程管理、工程造价、土地资源管理、房地产开发与管理24个本科专业，另还保有会计电算化、投资与理财、工程管理等专科专业，基本形成了能够适应地方经济社会发展需要，以经济类、管理类等应用型专业为主的专业布局。

学院现有教职工651人，其中有正高职称教师73人(教授70人，研究员3人)，副教授190人;有博士学位教师51人，有硕士学位教师325人。专任教师中，有享受政府特殊津贴专家 4人、入选新世纪百千万人才工程国家级人选1人、入选教育部新世纪优秀人才支持计划 2人、铁道部青年科技拔尖人才1人、湖南省跨世纪学术与技术带头人1人、省十大社科专家1人、省级教学名师1人、入选“湖南省121人才工程”5人、省级以上优秀教师1人、省级教学能手5人、省级青年骨干教师46人、省级优秀教学团队3个。已初步形成了一支结构日趋合理，素质日益提高的师资和管理干部队伍。

学院建有先进的现代化、数字化教学平台和完善的校内实训、校外实践教学体系。拥有计算机房28个(教学用计算机2117台)、多媒体教室157个(多媒体教学座位数13219个)、语音室9个(语音教学座位数544个)，已建成覆盖整个校园范围的校园计算机网络服务体系，是全国教育系统首家通过教育部“教育电子政务试点工程”验收的试点单位。2012年12月，学院成为教育部第一批教育信息化试点单位中湖南省本科院校中四所试点院校之一;校内建有会计实验中心、金融财税实验室、市场营销实验室(包括市场营销实训超市)、工程经济管理实训教学基地、经济法务实训教学基地、信息技术与信息管理实践教学示范中心等3个实验实训中心，29个各类专业实验室，校外建有61个相对稳定的校外实习基地。学院图书馆馆藏图书115万余册，本地数字资源总量达10TG;现代化多功能的体育馆，能满足师生锻炼健身需要。

学院高度重视国际交流与合作，先后与ACCA授权教育机构Kaplan成都中心合作成功开设会计学专业ACCA(特许公认会计师)方向班;与美国哈町大学、阿卡迪亚大学，英国罗汉普顿大学，韩国亚洲大学，台湾高雄第一科技大学等境外高校建立了友好合作关系，境外学者来校访问和校内师生赴境外交流学习日趋频繁。

Brief introduction

Hunan Institute of Finance and Economics is located on the shore of the Xiangjiang River and at the foot of Yuelu Mountain in Changsha City, Hunan Province. it is a full-time undergraduate university sponsored by the people’s Government of Hunan Province, in charge of the Provincial Department of Education and co-managed by the Provincial Department of Finance.

The predecessor of the college is the Housheng Accounting Institute founded in 1933 by famous educators and economists in modern China, such as Xiong Chongxu, Li Xiaofeng, Wang Jifan and Chen Jiazan. They studied in Japan in their early years, and when they returned home, they devoted themselves to spreading the concept of economic and economic use and advanced western management methods. After the establishment of the school, adhering to the concept of “carrying things with virtue and benefiting the people’s livelihood”, the Huxiang School has become one of the cradles of accounting technology dissemination and accounting personnel training in modern China. In 1942, Housheng Accounting Institute was renamed Hunan Private Housheng Accounting tutorial School.

After liberation, the private Housheng Accounting School was taken over by the Hunan Provincial people’s Government, and its name was changed to “Hunan Housheng Accounting School” in 1951. Since then, it has changed its name to Hunan Finance School, Hunan Finance and Trade School, Hunan Finance and Accounting School, Hunan Finance and Accounting School and so on. It was upgraded from Hunan Finance and Accounting School to Hunan College of Finance and Economics in 1985 and changed its name to “Hunan College of Finance and Economics” in 1993. In March 2010, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, the school was upgraded to an ordinary undergraduate university, officially named “Hunan Institute of Finance and Economics”.

After years of construction, the college has developed into a provincial financial and economic undergraduate college with economics and management disciplines as the main body, distinctive school-running features and increasing educational competitiveness. The college is adjacent to the West Lake Cultural Park and Meixi Lake in Changsha. Fenglin Road, Venus Avenue and the newly opened Metro Line 2 provide convenient transportation conditions for the college. With shady trees and flowers, the campus is known as the provincial “garden-style unit” and is an ideal place for students to study.

The college now has more than 10,000 students, covering an area of more than 760 mu, and has 10 teaching departments, namely, Department of Accounting, Department of Finance and Finance, Department of Business Administration, Department of Information Management, Department of Engineering Management, Department of Foreign languages, Department of Law and Public Administration, Department of ideological and political Theory, Department of basic courses, Department of physical Education. The college now has 651 faculty members, including 73 teachers with high professional titles (70 professors and 3 researchers), 190 associate professors, 51 doctoral teachers and 325 master’s degree teachers. Among full-time teachers There are 4 experts who enjoy the special government allowance, 1 person selected as the national candidate of the 10 billion talents project in the new century, 2 people selected in the New Century Talent support Program of the Ministry of Education, 1 young scientific and technological top-notch talent of the Ministry of Railways, 1 cross-century academic and technological leader of Hunan Province, 1 provincial top social science expert, 1 provincial teaching teacher, 5 selected “Hunan 121 Talent Project” and 1 excellent teacher above provincial level. The college has advanced modern and digital teaching platform and perfect on-campus training and off-campus practical teaching system. It has 28 computer rooms (2117 teaching computers), 157multimedia classrooms (13219 multimedia teaching seats) and 9 language labs (544 pronunciation teaching seats). The campus computer network service system covering the whole campus has been built, and it is the first pilot unit in the national education system to pass the “Education E-Government pilot Project” of the Ministry of Education. In December 2012, the college became one of the four pilot universities in Hunan Province among the first batch of educational informatization pilot units of the Ministry of Education. There are accounting experiment center, finance and taxation laboratory, marketing laboratory (including marketing training supermarket), engineering economic management training teaching base, economic law practical training teaching base, information technology and information management practice teaching demonstration center and so on. There are 3 experimental training centers, 29 professional laboratories and 61 relatively stable off-campus practice bases. The college library has more than 1.15 million books, and the total amount of local digital resources reaches 10TG. The modern multi-functional gymnasium can meet the fitness needs of teachers and students.

The college attaches great importance to international exchanges and cooperation, and has successively cooperated with Kaplan Chengdu Center, an ACCA authorized educational institution, to successfully set up an ACCA (chartered certified accountant) class for accounting majors. It has established friendly and cooperative relations with overseas universities such as Harding University and Arcadia University in the United States, Rohampton University in the United Kingdom, Asia University in Korea, and the first University of Science and Technology in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. visits by foreign scholars and exchanges between teachers and students abroad are becoming more and more frequent.
