中国传媒大学南广学院是中国传媒大学为拓展品牌优势,充分利用优质教育资源,满足国家对应用型信息传播人才日益增长的需求,与南京美亚教育投资有限公司合作,经教育部批准于2004年创办的四年制、本科层次的独立学院。

国内最具规模的跨国影视娱乐传媒集团之一——华夏视听环球传媒集团总裁蒲树林担任南京美亚教育投资有限公司董事长及南广学院董事会董事长。中国传媒大学名誉校长刘继南教授兼任南广学院名誉校长。中国传媒大学副校长高福安教授兼任南广学院校长。

学校坐落在风景秀丽的国家地质公园——江苏南京方山风景区脚下,规划用地1660亩,一期校园规划建筑面积36万平方米,已建设用地810亩,完成校园建筑约33万平方米。校园设计风格别致,中西合璧,四季葱翠,三季繁花,拥有两万多平米的观光草坪、四万余平米的连体图书馆以及气势宏大的教学楼群、室外露天剧场与多功能学生活动中心,是集求学研习、艺术展演、传媒实践为一体的现代化、多功能、园林式校园。

学校依托中国传媒大学独具特色的学科专业优势,根据“大传播、全媒体、综合性、应用型、国际化”的办学理念,现设有播音主持艺术学院、广播电视学院、新闻传播学院、国际传播学院、摄影学院、演艺学院、艺术设计学院、动画与数字艺术学院、文化管理学院、传媒技术学院10个二级学院和1个思政与基础教学部。开设了36个本科专业,90个专业方向,基本覆盖了文化传媒各个领域。其中,播音与主持艺术专业为江苏省“十二五”时期重点建设专业。截至2014年3月,在校本科生已突破12000名,其中,艺术类占60%。

学校坚持以人为本,实施人才强校战略,逐步建立健全了开拓创新、灵活高效的管理体制和机制。现有一批在教育界、传媒界享有盛名、卓有成果的老教授,还有诸多富于创新精神的中青年学术带头人和充满活力的青年教师,已逐步建立了一支创新能力强、教学水平高、师德品质好的师资队伍和管理团队。截至2012年9月,我校共有教职工900余人,其中专任教师750余人。另从国内外业界、学界聘请了400多位知名教授、专家任兼职教师,充实了我校师资力量。

学校明确“特色化发展、差异化竞争”办学思路,重视创新教育教学观念,改革人才培养模式,致力于为信息传播领域培养急需的具备国际化视野、社会责任感,拥有创新精神和实践能力的应用型传媒与艺术人才。

学校鼓励倡导师生实践,创新创意气氛活跃,成果丰硕。建校十年来,师生在国内外各类专业赛事上屡创佳绩,摘获各类奖项达800多项,其中国际范围获奖100多项、国家范围400多项、省市范围600多项,包括Telly国际广告节、法国飞帕电视节、中国纪录片国际选片会、中国国际动漫节、世界小姐选美大赛等重要国内外专业赛事。学校大力支持学术研究,教师获多项省部级科研成果立项,出版应用型本科人才培养教材近百部。

目前,我校已为社会输送了六届近万名毕业生,年均就业率达95%以上,毕业生受到用人单位广泛好评。据江苏省教育厅委托麦可思公司进行的高校毕业生就业跟踪调查显示,我校毕业生“就业竞争力指数”和“毕业时掌握的创新能力水平”两项指标已连续三年位居第一。此外,我校以培养优秀毕业生为目标的“南广名片”工程取得初步成效,《金陵十三钗》女主角倪妮、《西施秘史》女主角邬靖靖等一批优秀毕业生已登上了文化艺术一线舞台。

学校坚持开放办学、国际化办学方针,积极推进对外交流与合作。现已与国内外多家高校、科研和传媒机构建立了良好合作关系。搭建了开放式、国际化学术交流平台,曾成功举办了两届“私立大学生态环境及发展战略国际论坛”,参与承办了两届“世界大学女校长论坛”以及联合国教科文组织教席会议等国际学术会议,接待了500位国外大学校长及政府官员来访。

此外,学校充分依托应用语言教育资源,采取“3+1”、“2+2”以及“3+2”、“3+1+1”本硕连读等模式,与国外高校合作培养具有国际视野的传媒人才。现已与英国谢菲尔德哈勒姆大学、芬兰坦佩雷大学、法国卡昂大学、日本城西国际大学等近30所国外大学建立了合作办学关系,已累计派遣550余名在校生出国学习,600多名毕业生到15个国家和地区知名高校留学深造。此外,学校长期聘请多名外籍教师在校工作并经常邀请国外专家教授来校讲学。

学校面向全国招收艺术类和普通类学生,学生毕业后颁发国家承认的中国传媒大学南广学院毕业证书,按照教育部《独立学院设置与管理办法》规定,对符合学位授予条件者,授予中国传媒大学南广学院学士学位。

学校的发展目标是,力争到2020年把学校建设成为特色鲜明、国内知名、国际化发展的教学型传媒院校,成为中国应用型本科传媒人才培养基地、传媒从业人员继续教育基地和传媒内容创研制作基地。

Communication University Of China Nanguang College is a four-year, undergraduate-level independent college established by Communication University Of China in cooperation with Nanjing Meiya Education Investment Co., Ltd., in order to expand its brand advantages, make full use of high-quality educational resources and meet the country’s growing demand for applied information and communication talents.

Pu Shulin, president of Huaxia Audiovisual Global Media Group, one of the largest multinational film and television entertainment media groups in China, serves as chairman of Nanjing Meiya Education Investment Co., Ltd and board chairman of Nanguang College. Professor Liu Jinan, Honorary President of Communication University Of China, is also Honorary President of Nanguang College. Professor Gao Fuan, Vice President of Communication University Of China, is also President of Nanguang College.

The school is located at the foot of the scenic National Geopark-Fangshan Scenic spot in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, with a planned land area of 1660 mu, a planned campus construction area of 360000 square meters, a construction land of 810 mu, and a campus building of about 330000 square meters. The campus has a unique design style, a combination of Chinese and Western, green four seasons and flowers in three seasons, with more than 20,000 square meters of sightseeing lawn, more than 40,000 square meters of conjoined libraries, magnificent teaching buildings, outdoor amphitheatre and multi-functional student activity center. it is a modern, multi-functional and garden campus integrating study, art exhibition and media practice.

It has opened 36 undergraduate majors and 90 professional directions, basically covering all fields of cultural media. Among them, broadcasting and hosting art major is the key construction major in Jiangsu Province during the Twelfth five-year Plan period. As of March 2014, the number of undergraduates has exceeded 12000, of which art accounts for 60%.

The school insists on people-oriented, implements the strategy of strengthening the school with talents, and gradually establishes and improves a pioneering, innovative, flexible and efficient management system and mechanism. At present, there are a number of well-known and fruitful old professors in the educational and media circles, as well as many young and middle-aged academic leaders and energetic young teachers with innovative spirit.
