衡阳师范学院

衡阳师范学院是经教育部批准、湖南省直属的普通全日制公办本科院校。学校坐落于王船山(王夫之)故里、蔡伦家乡所在的历史文化名城、中国优秀旅游城市——衡阳市，地理位置优越，北望南岳衡山，南接奔腾湘江，京广铁路、武广高铁、湘桂高铁、京珠高速、衡枣高速、衡邵高速、衡炎高速等环绕四周，距高铁衡阳东站2公里，距南岳机场20公里。学校前身为1904年创办的湖南官立南路师范学堂，百余年来“南学津梁”弦歌不断，培养了近30万莘莘学子，恽代英、张秋人、蒋先云、黄静源、黄克诚、江华、陶铸、张经武、张平化、张际春、曾希圣、唐天际、周里、秦光荣、樊芬芳等是我校校友的杰出代表。

进入新时期，学校抓住高等教育“大改革、大发展、大提高”的重要战略机遇，发展进入了快车道。1999年3月，经教育部批准，衡阳师范高等专科学校、衡阳教育学院合并组建衡阳师范学院。2001年2月，湖南省第三师范学校并入。2006年学校以优异成绩完成教育部本科教学水平评估。2013年，学校成为湖南省首批协同创新中心(即“2011计划”)立项建设高校。2015年,学校成功入选2015-2020年教育部—中兴通讯ICT产教融合创新基地第一批合作院校。

学校有东、西两个校区，西校区481亩，东校区(新)1685亩。校园环境优美，是湖南省文明卫生单位、湖南省园林式单位。现有人文社会科学学院、经济与管理学院、法学院、文学院、新闻与传播学院、外国语学院、数学与统计学院、物理与电子工程学院、化学与材料科学学院、城市与旅游学院、计算机科学与技术学院、音乐学院、美术学院、体育科学学院、生命科学与环境学院、教育科学学院、初等教育学院、中兴通讯信息工程学院等18个二级教学单位，1个独立学院——南岳学院，1个继续教育与教师培训学院，面向全国30个省(直辖市、自治区)招生，全日制在校学生2万余人。

学校以专业建设为基础，以学科建设为龙头，不断加强学科、专业建设，形成了文、理、工协调发展的学科专业结构。现有55个全日制本科专业，其中，物理学为国家级特色专业，地理科学为国家级综合改革试点专业，另有6个省级特色专业、3个省级重点建设专业、2个省级综合改革试点专业。拥有1个教育部—中兴通讯ICT产教融合创新基地、1个国家级大学生校外实践教育基地和人文地理学、光学、运筹学与控制论、中国古代文学、材料物理与化学、区域经济学等6个省级重点建设学科。有1个省级重点实验室、1个省级工程实验室、1个省级高校重点实验室、1个省级应用基础研究基地、1个湖南省院士工作站、1个省级产学研合作示范基地、3个省级社科研究基地、2个省级社科普及基地、2个省级基础课示范实验室、1个省级虚拟仿真实验教学中心、2个省级实践教学示范中心、3个省级大学生创新训练中心、2个省级校企合作人才培养示范基地。另有12门省级精品课程，9个省级优秀实习基地、4个省级优秀教研室。

学校大力加强师资队伍建设，成效显著。有专任教师800余人，其中具有正高级专业技术职务114人(二级教授11人)，具有博士学位专任教师141人，在读博士60余人。有2个省级科技创新团队、2个省级自然科学基金创新研究群体、4个省级教学团队。有享受国务院特殊津贴专家、全国优秀教育工作者、全国优秀教师、全国高校优秀思想政治教育工作者、教育部新世纪优秀人才、省新世纪121人才、省级教学名师、省优秀社科专家、省级学科带头人、省级青年教学能手、省级青年骨干教师共计140余人。外聘海内外兼职教授100余人。

学校大力加强科研工作，科研实力逐年增强。有30多个省、市级科研机构。近三年来，学院承担省级及以上科研项目近600项，其中国家自然科学基金和社会科学基金项目34项，部级项目15项;立项国家级和省部级教改项目80余项;发表学术论文2200余篇;出版专著、译著和教材130余部;获国家级和省部级科研奖励、教学成果奖近30项;获国家授权专利共45项，产教融合、校企合作成果丰硕。《衡阳师范学院学报》被评为第三届“全国百强社科学报”、“RCCSE中国核心学术期刊”、教育部两届“优秀特色科技期刊”。

学校积极开展国际学术交流与合作办学，现已具备招收来华留学生资格。先后与美国、英国、韩国、香港等国家和地区的10多所高校建立了良好合作关系，近三年来，获得近20项国家留学基金、湖南省海外名师和省级引智项目，教师赴国外高校接受培训、学生暑期赴美社会实践活动、学生参加海外大学的国际交换生计划等一系列合作办学项目正在积极开展。

学校始终坚持质量立校，着力为基础教育和职业技术教育培养优秀教师，为地方经济和社会发展培养高素质应用型人才。近三年来，学生在各类竞赛活动中，获得国家级、省级奖项450余项，其中，在第三十届奥运会上获得个人第四名、在十七届亚运会和第十二届全运会上获得“五金二银”优异成绩。应届毕业生一次性就业率一直保持在90%以上，办学质量受到社会各界好评。

Hengyang normal University is an ordinary full-time public undergraduate university approved by the Ministry of Education and directly under Hunan Province. The school is located in the hometown of Wang Chuanshan (Wang Fuzhi), the famous historical and cultural city where Cai Lun’s hometown is located, and China’s excellent tourist city-Hengyang City, with a superior geographical location, looking at Nanyue Hengshan Mountain in the north and Pentium Xiangjiang River in the south. Beijing-Guangzhou Railway, Wuhan-Guangzhou High-speed Railway, Xiang-Gui High-speed Railway, Beijing-Zhuhai Expressway, Hengzao Expressway, Hengzao Expressway, Hengyan Expressway, etc., 2 kilometers away from Hengyang East Station of High-speed Railway and 20 kilometers away from Nanyue Airport. The school, formerly known as Hunan Guanli South Road normal School, was founded in 1904. For more than a hundred years, the string songs of “Nanxue Jinliang” have been continuous. Entering the new period, the school has seized the important strategic opportunity of “great reform, great development and great improvement” of higher education and entered the fast track of development. In March 1999, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, Hengyang normal College and Hengyang Institute of Education merged to form Hengyang normal College. In February 2001, the third normal School of Hunan Province was merged. In 2006, the school completed the undergraduate teaching level evaluation of the Ministry of Education with excellent results. In 2013, the school became the first batch of collaborative innovation centers in Hunan Province (that is, the “2011 Program”) to build colleges and universities. In 2015, the school was successfully selected into the first batch of cooperative schools of the Ministry of Education-ZTE ICT Industry-Education Integration Innovation Base from 2015 to 2020.

The school has two campuses in the east and west, with 481mu in the west and 1685 mu in the east (new). With a beautiful campus environment, it is a civilized health unit and garden-style unit in Hunan Province. The existing faculties of humanities and social sciences, economics and management, law, liberal arts, journalism and communication, foreign languages, mathematics and statistics, physics and electronic engineering, chemistry and materials science, city and tourism, computer science and technology, music, fine arts, sports science, life science and environment, education science, primary education, 18 second-level teaching units, including ZTE Information Engineering College. One independent college, Nanyue College, and one College of continuing Education and teacher training, enroll students from 30 provinces (municipalities and autonomous regions directly under the Central Government), with more than 20,000 full-time students.

Based on the professional construction, the school takes the discipline construction as the leader, continuously strengthens the discipline and professional construction, and forms the discipline professional structure of the coordinated development of liberal arts, science and engineering. At present, there are 55 full-time undergraduate majors, of which physics is a national characteristic major and geography science is a national comprehensive reform pilot major. There are also 6 provincial characteristic majors, 3 provincial key construction majors and 2 provincial comprehensive reform pilot majors. It has a Ministry of Education-ZTE ICT production-education integration innovation base, a national off-campus practical education base for college students, and six provincial key construction disciplines, including human geography, optics, operational research and cybernetics, ancient Chinese literature, material physics and chemistry, and regional economics. The school has made great efforts to strengthen the construction of teaching staff, and achieved remarkable results. There are more than 800 full-time teachers, including 114 senior professional and technical positions (11 second-class professors), 141 full-time teachers with doctoral degrees and more than 60 doctoral students. There are 2 provincial scientific and technological innovation teams, 2 provincial natural science fund innovation research groups and 4 provincial teaching teams. The school has made great efforts to strengthen scientific research, and the strength of scientific research has been enhanced year by year. There are more than 30 provincial and municipal scientific research institutions. In the past three years, the college has undertaken nearly 600 scientific research projects at and above the provincial level, including 34 projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation and Social Sciences Foundation, 15 ministerial projects, more than 80 educational reform projects at the national and provincial and ministerial levels, more than 2200 academic papers have been published, more than 130 monographs, translation works and teaching materials have been published, and nearly 30 national, provincial and ministerial scientific research awards and teaching achievement awards have been won. A total of 45 patents have been authorized by the state, and the integration of industry and education and the cooperation between schools and enterprises have achieved fruitful results. “Journal of Hengyang normal University” was awarded as the third “National Top 100 Social Science Journal”, “RCCSE China Core academic Journal”, and two “excellent characteristic Sci-tech Journals” of the Ministry of Education.

The school actively carries out international academic exchanges and cooperation in running a school, and is now qualified to recruit foreign students to China. It has successively established good cooperative relations with more than 10 universities in the United States, Britain, South Korea, Hong Kong and other countries and regions. In the past three years, it has obtained nearly 20 national study abroad funds, famous teachers from Hunan Province and provincial intelligence introduction programs. A series of cooperative school-running projects, such as teachers’ training in foreign colleges and universities, students’ summer social practice activities in the United States, and students’ participation in the international exchange program of overseas universities, are being carried out actively.

The school always adheres to the quality of the school, strives to train excellent teachers for basic education and vocational and technical education, and trains high-quality applied talents for local economic and social development. In the past three years, students have won more than 450 national and provincial awards in various competitions, among which, they won the fourth place in the 30th Olympic Games and the excellent results of “hardware and Silver” in the 17th Asian Games and the 12th National Games. The one-time employment rate of fresh graduates has been maintained at more than 90%, and the quality of running a school has been well received by all sectors of the community.
