山西财经大学

山西财经大学是一所以经济学、管理学、法学为主干学科，经、管、法、文、理、工、教、艺术相互支撑的多科性教学研究型大学。学校始建于1951年，是新中国成立后建校最早的高等财经类院校之一。学校面向全国30个省、自治区、直辖市及港澳台地区招生，现有各类在校学生30000余人，其中，全日制本科生16000余人，研究生3300余人。

学校位于具有2500多年历史的文化名城──山西省省会太原市，分坞城、迎泽和平阳三个校区办学，校园占地面积近1100亩，建筑面积近60万平方米。学校现有教职工1684人，其中专任教师1140人，教授、副教授457人，具有博士和硕士学位的教师926人。有国务院特殊津贴专家、教育部新世纪优秀人才、省级中青年学科学术带头人等43人，省级教学名师24人。学校还聘请了120余名国内外知名专家学者担任客座或兼职教授，聘请了258名校外研究机构的专家学者和著名企业家担任硕士研究生校外指导教师。

学校设有24个教学单位和27个学术研究机构。现有1个博士后科研流动站，3个一级学科博士学位授权点，14个二级学科博士学位授权点，8个一级学科硕士学位授权点，56个二级学科硕士学位授权点，57个本科专业(方向)，5个国家级特色专业，7个山西省高等学校特色专业，11个山西省普通高等学校本科品牌专业，获得29项省级教学成果奖，61项山西省高等学校教学改革项目。学校具有高校教师专业硕士学位培养资格和同等学力人员申请硕士学位授予权，可在15个本科专业授予双学士学位。拥有3个省级重点学科、5个省级重点建设学科和5个省级重点扶持学科，4个省级人文社科重点研究基地，1个国家级实验教学示范中心。

学校拥有网络与信息技术中心、实验教学中心、体育场馆中心、国际学术交流中心以及晋商与票号博物馆、ERP实验室、金融实验室、会计模拟实验室、模拟法庭等现代化教学、科研和实验设施。学校图书馆馆藏图书348万余册，电子图书140万余册。

学校始终坚持以教学工作为中心，不断深化教育教学改革，实施“特色与综合”人才培养模式，教育教学和人才培养质量不断提高，我校学生在全国大学生英语竞赛、数学建模竞赛、高等院校工程算量大赛、计算机设计大赛、创业综合模拟大赛等活动中连续取得优异成绩。建校64年来，为国家和社会培养输送了12万余名大学毕业生。近年来，学校高考录取分数达到第一批本科录取线的学生人数占到了全部招生人数的三分之一以上，本科毕业生和研究生就业率一直保持在90%以上。

学校重视科学研究工作，科研数量和质量不断提升。编辑出版《山西财经大学学报(经济版)》、《高等财经教育研究》等学术刊物，主办山西财经大学“中青年学术论坛”与“人文大讲堂”。近年来，学校承担国家级科研项目64项，在国家级出版社出版专著88部，承担国家“十一五”、“十二五”规划教材5部，在国家级刊物上发表论文872篇，获得各类奖项250余项，其中，省部级奖136项，主办国际性、全国性学术会议50余次，学校综合办学实力和核心竞争力稳步提升。

学校积极开展对外交流与合作，与德国马格德堡大学、英国哈德斯菲尔德大学、德国埃森经济管理应用技术大学、澳大利亚迪肯大学、台湾建国科技大学等30多所大学建立了校际交流与合作关系。政治经济学、金融学和统计学3个专业还具有接受一般访问学者资格。2002年与德国埃森经济管理应用技术大学合作举办了山西财经大学中德学院，2004年学校与德国马格德堡大学签署协议，实施“2+3+2”的模式联合培养本科生和硕士生;2010年，学校与英国哈德斯菲尔德大学签署协议，实施“2+2”、“3+1”、“1+1+1”的模式联合培养本科生和硕士生。

Shanxi University of Finance and Economics is a multidisciplinary teaching and research university with economics, management, law, liberal arts, science, engineering, teaching and art as its main disciplines. Founded in 1951, the school is one of the earliest financial institutions after the founding of the people’s Republic of China. The school enrolls students from 30 provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government and Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan regions. There are more than 30000 students, including more than 16000 full-time undergraduates and more than 3300 postgraduates.

The school is located in Taiyuan, the capital of Shanxi Province, a famous cultural city with a history of more than 2500 years. It is divided into three campuses: Wucheng, Yingze and Pingyang. The campus covers an area of nearly 1100 mu and the construction area is nearly 600000 square meters. The school now has 1684 staff, including 1140 full-time teachers, 457 professors and associate professors, and 926 teachers with doctoral and master’s degrees. There are 43 special subsidy experts of the State Council, outstanding talents of the Ministry of Education in the new century, academic leaders of provincial middle-aged and young disciplines, and 24 provincial famous teachers. The school has also hired more than 120 well-known experts and scholars at home and abroad as visiting or part-time professors, and 258 experts and scholars from off-campus research institutions and famous entrepreneurs as out-of-school instructors for postgraduates.

The school has 24 teaching units and 27 academic research institutions. At present, there are 1 post-doctoral research station, 3 first-tier discipline doctoral degree authorization points, 14 second-tier discipline doctoral degree authorization points, 8 first-tier discipline master degree authorization points, 56 second-tier discipline master degree authorization points, 57 undergraduate majors (direction), 5 national characteristic specialties, 7 characteristic majors of Shanxi colleges and universities, 11 undergraduate brand majors of Shanxi ordinary colleges and universities. Won 29 provincial teaching achievement awards and 61 teaching reform projects in colleges and universities in Shanxi Province. The school has the professional master’s degree training qualification of university teachers and the right to apply for the grant of master’s degree, and can award double bachelor’s degree in 15 undergraduate majors. It has 3 provincial key disciplines, 5 provincial key construction disciplines and 5 provincial key supporting disciplines, 4 provincial key research bases of humanities and social sciences, and 1 national experimental teaching demonstration center.

The school has network and information technology center, experimental teaching center, sports venue center, international academic exchange center and modern teaching, scientific research and experimental facilities such as Shanxi Merchants and ticket Museum, ERP Laboratory, Finance Laboratory, Accounting Simulation Laboratory, moot Court and so on. The school library has more than 3.48 million books and more than 1.4 million e-books.

The school has always persisted in taking teaching work as the center, constantly deepening education and teaching reform, implementing the “characteristic and comprehensive” talent training model, and constantly improving the quality of education, teaching and personnel training. Our students have continuously achieved excellent results in the national English competition for college students, the mathematical modeling competition, the engineering calculation competition in colleges and universities, the computer design competition and the comprehensive simulation competition for entrepreneurship. Over the past 64 years since its establishment, the school has provided more than 120000 university graduates for the training of the country and society. In recent years, the number of students whose college entrance examination scores reached the first batch of undergraduate admission lines accounted for more than 1/3 of the total enrollment, and the employment rate of undergraduate graduates and postgraduates has been maintained at more than 90 percent.

The school attaches importance to scientific research, and the quantity and quality of scientific research are constantly improving. He edited and published academic journals such as Journal of Shanxi University of Finance and Economics (Economic Edition) and Research on higher Finance and Economics Education, and hosted the “Young and Middle-aged academic Forum” and “Humanities Lecture Hall” of Shanxi University of Finance and Economics. In recent years, the school has undertaken 64 national scientific research projects, published 88 monographs in state-level publishing houses, undertaken 5 textbooks of the country’s Eleventh five-year Plan and 12th five-year Plan, and published 872 papers in national journals. It has won more than 250 awards, including 136 provincial and ministerial awards, hosting more than 50 international and national academic conferences, and the school’s comprehensive school-running strength and core competitiveness have improved steadily.

The school has actively carried out exchanges and cooperation with more than 30 universities, including Magdeburg University in Germany, Huddersfield University in England, Essen University of Economics and Management Applied Technology in Germany, Deakin University in Australia and Jianguo University of Science and Technology in Taiwan. The three majors of political economy, Finance and Statistics are also qualified as general visiting scholars. In 2002, the Sino-German College of Shanxi University of Finance and Economics was established in cooperation with Essen University of Economics and Management Applied Technology in Germany. In 2004, the school signed an agreement with Magdeburg University in Germany to jointly train undergraduates and master’s degree students. In 2010, the school signed an agreement with the University of Huddersfield in the UK to jointly train undergraduates and master’s degree students in the mode of “2: 2”, “3: 1” and “1: 1: 1”.

After more than 60 years of passing on the fire and the hard struggle of several generations, Shanxi University of Finance and Economics has made brilliant achievements.
