黄河水利职业技术学院简介

黄河水利职业技术学院位于历史文化名城、中国优秀旅游城市开封，是首批国家示范性高等职业院校，始建于1929年3月，先后历经国立黄河流域水利工程专科学校、黄河水利专科学校、黄河水利学院、黄河水利学校等历史沿革。1998年3月，改制为黄河水利职业技术学院。2000年3月学校由水利部划归河南省实行省部共建。

学校在水利、测绘、机电等行业享有盛誉。所培养的10万余名毕业生始终活跃在祖国的大河上下、大江南北，被誉为黄河流域“黄埔军校”。原水利部部长杨振怀赞誉学校为“黄河技干摇篮”。水利部副部长李国英曾在视察学校时说：“没有黄河水院，就没有黄河50多年的岁岁安澜。”河南省委书记郭庚茂到校调研职业教育时说，“希望你们继续当好标兵，创出经验，带动全省不同层次的职业教育加快发展。”

学校现有教职工908人，其中专任教师727人，教授
、副教授191人，博士、硕士473人，“双师型”教师281人，享受国务院特殊津贴教师、国家教学名师、河南省教学名师、河南省职业教育教学专家、河南省学术技术带头人、全国水利职教名师等47人，国家级教学团队2支。在校全日制专科生18200余人、成人教育学生2000人。拥有16个
院(系)，开设水利、测量、土木、路桥、机电等66个专业及方向，其中国家级精品专业1个，国家级教学改革试点专业2个，国家重点建设专业5个，省级示范名牌专业16个，拥有国家级精品资源共享课程13门，是河南省国家级精品资源共享课程最多的高校。

学校占地面积1400多亩，建筑面积49万平方米，注册资金11.2亿元，教学仪器设备总值1.6亿，图书馆藏书90多万册。校企合作建设187个校内实训室、610个校外实习基地。

The Yellow River Water Conservancy Vocational and Technical College, located in Kaifeng, a famous historical and cultural city and an excellent tourist city in China, is the first batch of national demonstration higher vocational colleges, which was founded in March 1929. It has gone through the historical evolution of the National Yellow River Basin Water Conservancy College, Yellow River Water Conservancy College, Yellow River Water Conservancy School and so on. In March 1998, it was transformed into Yellow River Water Conservancy Vocational and Technical College. In March 2000, the school was assigned by the Ministry of Water Resources to Henan Province to carry out joint construction between provinces and ministries.

The school enjoys a high reputation in water conservancy, surveying and mapping, electromechanical and other industries. More than 100000 graduates have always been active in the great rivers and north and south of the motherland, and are known as the “Whampoa military Academy” in the Yellow River Basin. Yang Zhenhuai, former minister of water resources, praised the school as the “cradle of the Yellow River technical stem”.
