北京大学光华管理学院(Guanghua School of Management,Peking
University)前身是成立于1985年的北京大学经济管理系，1994年正式更名为光华管理学院。依托北京大学深厚的历史底蕴和文化积淀，作为北大工商管理教育的主体，北京大学光华管理学院是亚太地区最优秀的商学院之一。以“创造管理知识,培养商界领袖,推动社会进步”为使命，本科、学术型研究生、金融硕士、MBA、EMBA、MPAcc、高层管理教育等课程已获得国际权威认证。

北京大学在经济管理方面的学科建设可以追溯至1902年京师大学堂设立的商学科，这是中国高等院校中建立最早的商学系科。伴随着新中国的改革开放和经济发展，北京大学于1985年设立经济管理系，1993年经济管理系与管理科学中心合并成立北京大学工商管理学院，1994年更名为北京大学光华管理学院。

光华管理学院依托北京大学深厚的历史底蕴和文化积淀，以“创造管理知识，培养商界领袖，推动社会进步”为使命，历经近三十年的发展，学院在科研水平、师资建设、人才培养、国际合作等方面位居国内经济管理学院前列，成为亚太地区最为优秀的商学院之一。

光华管理学院有着完整的学科结构，现设有会计学系、应用经济学系、商务统计与经济计量系、金融学系、管理科学与信息系统系、市场营销系、组织管理系、战略管理系等8个系，其中国民经济学、企业管理是国家重点学科。

学院拥有一流的师资队伍，其中包括以厉以宁教授为代表的国内著名学者，以及一批有着国际学术影响力的中青年学术骨干。学院现有111名全职教研人员，78人获得海外知名学府博士学位，并有多位拥有丰富的海外任教经历。学院有4位国家“千人计划”教授，3位国际学会会士(fellow)，5位教育部“长江学者特聘教授”，10位国家杰出青年科学基金获得者，13位教育部新世纪优秀人才支持计划获得者。

学院的科研水平在国内商学院中名列前茅，国内问题研究方面也有着很大的社会影响。学院国际顶级学术论文的人均发表量已经达到并超过国际一流水平，并在国内商学院中常年保持领先位置。光华管理学院积极参与国家大政方针的研究与制定，对中国的经济改革和发展产生了积极的社会影响。

学院具有完整的人才培养体系。学位项目有本科、研究生、金融硕士、工商管理硕士(MBA)、高级管理人员工商管理硕士(EMBA)、会计硕士(MPAcc)项目等。2014年度《金融时报》公布的全球百强MBA排名中，光华MBA项目位居第57位，成为中国大陆高校中唯一上榜的商学院。光华金融硕士项目在《金融时报》2012年度全球金融硕士项目排名中位列第8位，也是排名榜前35位中唯一入选的亚洲院校。学院还设立了高层管理教育中心(ExEd)，提供非学位的公开课程、定制课程和国际课程。

光华管理学院持续引领中国商学教育的国际化进程。学院已与百余所世界知名院校在教学、科研、学生交流等方面建立了紧密的合作关系，实现了中国学生出国交换的全覆盖，并吸引大量来自世界各国的留学生和交换学生，2013-2014年度在校的国际学生有183位，为扩大学院国际影响力奠定了坚实基础。

University) formerly known as the Department of Economics and Management of Peking University, which was founded in 1985, was officially renamed Guanghua School of Management in 1994. Relying on the profound historical heritage and cultural accumulation of Peking University, as the main body of business administration education of Peking University, Peking University Guanghua School of Management is one of the best business schools in the Asia-Pacific region. With the mission of “creating management knowledge, training business leaders and promoting social progress”, undergraduate, academic postgraduate, master of finance, MBA, EMBA, MPAcc, senior management education and other courses have obtained international authoritative certification.

The discipline construction of economic management in Peking University can be traced back to the business discipline established by Peking University in 1902, which is the earliest business department in Chinese colleges and universities. With the reform and opening up and economic development of New China, Peking University established the Department of Economics and Management in 1985, merged the Department of Economic Management and the Center of Management Science in 1993 to form the School of Business Administration of Peking University, and changed its name to Guanghua School of Management of Peking University in 1994.

Relying on the profound historical heritage and cultural accumulation of Peking University, with the mission of “creating management knowledge, training business leaders and promoting social progress”, Guanghua School of Management has been in the forefront of domestic schools of economics and management in terms of scientific research level, faculty construction, personnel training and international cooperation, and has become one of the best business schools in the Asia-Pacific region.

Guanghua School of Management has a complete discipline structure. At present, there are 8 departments, such as Accounting Department, Applied Economics Department, Business Statistics and Econometrics Department, Finance Department, Management Science and Information system Department, Marketing Department, Organization Management Department and Strategic Management Department, among which national economics and enterprise management are national key disciplines.

The college has a first-class teaching staff, including famous domestic scholars represented by Professor Li Yining, as well as a group of young and middle-aged academic backbones with international academic influence. The college now has 111 full-time teaching and research staff, 78 of whom have obtained doctorates from well-known overseas universities, and many of them have rich overseas teaching experience. The college has 4 professors of the National Thousand talents Plan, 3 members of the International Society (fellow), 5 Distinguished Professors of the Yangtze River Scholars of the Ministry of Education, 10 winners of the National Outstanding Youth Science Foundation and 13 winners of the New Century Talent support Program of the Ministry of Education.

The scientific research level of the college is among the best among domestic business schools, and it also has a great social impact on domestic problem research. The per capita publication of top international academic papers has reached and exceeded the international first-class level, and has maintained a leading position among domestic business schools all the year round. Guanghua School of Management has actively participated in the research and formulation of national policies, which has had a positive social impact on China’s economic reform and development.

The college has a complete talent training system. Degree programs include undergraduate, postgraduate, Master of Finance, Master of Business Administration (MBA), Senior Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA), Master of Accounting (MPAcc) program, etc. Sinorama MBA ranked 57th in the global top 100 MBA rankings published by the Financial Times, becoming the only business school on the list of Chinese mainland universities. The Sinorama Master of Finance program ranks eighth in the Financial Times’ 2012 Global Master of Finance ranking and is the only Asian institution selected in the top 35. The College has also set up a Centre for Senior Management Education (ExEd), which offers non-degree open courses, customized courses and international courses.

Guanghua School of Management continues to lead the internationalization of business education in China. The college has established close cooperative relations with more than 100 world-famous universities in teaching, scientific research and student exchanges, realizing the full coverage of Chinese students’ exchange abroad, and attracting a large number of foreign students and exchange students from all over the world. There were 183 international students in 2013-14, which laid a solid foundation for expanding the college’s international influence.
