上海师范大学

上海师范大学是市重点建设的高校，是一所以文科见长并具教师教育特色的文、理、工、艺学科协调发展的综合性大学。学校已进入上海市教育综合改革部市共同支持的高校行列。

上海师范大学创建于1954年，时名上海师范专科学校，1956年扩建为上海第一师范学院和上海第二师范学院，1958年两所学院合并成立上海师范学院。1972年至1978年与华东师范大学等五校合并成立上海师范大学。1978年恢复上海师范学院。1984年改名为上海师范大学。1994年10月，与上海技术师范学院合并成立新的上海师范大学。1997年9月至2003年8月，上海师范高等专科学校、南林师范学校黄陵卫生保健师范部、上海行知艺术师范学校、上海旅游高等专科学校等先后并入或划归我校管理。学校下设17个二级学院、134个研究机构。另设上海师范大学青年学院是我校与共青团上海市委共建的、旨在培养高层次青少年教育与研究人才的二级学院。上海师资培训中心和《高等学校文科学术文摘》编辑部等机构也设在我校。学校还建有广泛社会影响的老年大学。

学校现有全日制本、专科学生21173人，研究生5578人，夜大学学生13402人。建校60年来，学校培养了20余万各级各类人才。学校被列入来华留学生中国政府奖学金院校以及上海市外国留学生预科基地。截止2015年3月，我校与美国、加拿大、英国、德国、法国、荷兰、比利时、意大利、卢森堡、匈牙利、澳大利亚、新西兰、俄罗斯、博茨瓦纳、科特迪瓦、以色列、日本、韩国、新加坡、泰国、印度尼西亚、越南、智利、墨西哥以及中国香港、台湾等40个国家和地区的298个高校和组织建立了交流合作关系。目前与美国、英国、德国、荷兰、俄罗斯、法国等六个国家的9所高校合作举办10个中外合作办学项目。目前一年期以上在校留学生643人。学校先后在日本广岛福山大学、非洲博茨瓦纳大学和美国密苏里大学建有三所孔子学院。

学校现有本科专业86个，覆盖哲学、经济学、法学、教育学、文学、历史学、理学、工学、管理学、农学、艺术学等11个学科门类。汉语言文学专业拥有教育部批准设立的国家文科基础学科人才培养和科学研究基地，古典文献学专业为全国重点培养古典文献人才的四个基地之一。共获得4期18个上海市本科教育高地建设项目，其中第一期5个，分别为：旅游会展经济与管理、教师教育、汉语言文学、影视传播、英语，第二期2个，分别为：应用化学和生物技术(实验室建设)，第三期5个，分别为：汉语言文学、广告学、旅游管理、小学教育、音乐学，第四期6个，分别为：历史学、对外汉语创新人才培养模式、心理学应用人才培养模式、数学与应用数学、金融保险、广播影视新传媒等。

学校拥有一级学科博士点6个、二级学科博士点46个、博士后流动站9个、共有一级学科硕士点29个、二级学科硕士点161个,另外还有13个专业学位硕士点。经过几十年的努力，学校已经建立起一批具有优势和特色的学科：比较文学与世界文学是国家重点学科;都市文化研究中心是上海地方高校中唯一的教育部人文社会科学重点研究基地;国际教育研究中心是教育部国际教育研究培育基地;非洲研究中心是教育部区域与国别研究培育基地;资源化学实验室是教育部重点实验室;都市文化、计算科学、比较语言学和国际与比较教育是4个设在我校的上海市高校E-研究院。此外，学校还拥有6个上海高校一流学科;14个上海市重点学科;16个上海市教委重点学科;5个上海市普通高校人文社会科学重点研究基地;2个上海市重点实验室和2个上海高校重点实验室;1个上海高校智库;1个上海市协同创新中心。2014年全年，学校科研经费达20248.4万元，其中文科科研经费为：5601万元，理工科科研经费为：14647.4万元。

学校师资队伍结构合理，拥有一批在国内外具有一定影响的专家、学者和优秀青年学术人才，初步形成了一支以特聘教授为旗帜、有较大学术影响的学科带头人为中坚、中青年学术骨干为主体的高水平教师队伍。现有教职员工2810人，其中专任教师1708人。专任教师中具有正高级专业技术职务者273人、具有副高级专业技术职务者619人;具有博士、硕士学位的教师1426人，占专任教师的83.5%，其中具有博士学位的教师792人。此外，还组建了一支500人左右的兼职教师队伍，其中100多位外籍教师。

学校现有徐汇和奉贤两个校区，占地面积154万多平方米。校舍建筑面积76万多平方米，其中教室面积9.3万平方米、学生宿舍面积27.2万平方米、校内实验室和实习场所7.1万平方米;两个中心图书馆藏书近351万册、有100多个电子文献数据库和具有馆藏特色的自建数据库6个;建在我校的上海高校瓷器艺术博物馆是上海市十大高校民族文化博物馆;馆藏古籍13万多册，善本古籍520多种，2009年经国务院专家组审批通过被授予“全国古籍重点保护单位”。全校固定资产总值24.26亿元，其中教学科研仪器设备资产6.03亿元。

Shanghai normal University is a key university in the city. it is a comprehensive university with the coordinated development of liberal arts, science, engineering and art disciplines with the characteristics of liberal arts and teacher education. The school has entered the ranks of colleges and universities jointly supported by the ministries and cities of the comprehensive education reform in Shanghai.

Shanghai normal University was founded in 1954 as Shanghai normal College. In 1956, it was expanded into Shanghai first normal College and Shanghai second normal College. In 1958, the two colleges merged to form Shanghai normal College. From 1972 to 1978, he merged with East China normal University and other five universities to form Shanghai normal University. Shanghai normal University was restored in 1978. In 1984, it was renamed Shanghai normal University. In October 1994, it merged with Shanghai Technical normal University to form a new Shanghai normal University. From September 1997 to August 2003, Shanghai normal College, Huangling Health Care normal Department of Nanlin normal School, Shanghai Xingzhi Art normal School and Shanghai Tourism College were successively incorporated or put under the management of our school. The school has 17 secondary colleges and 134 research institutions. In addition, the Youth College of Shanghai normal University is a secondary college jointly built by our university and the Shanghai Municipal Party Committee of the Communist Youth League, which aims to train high-level youth education and research talents. The Shanghai teacher training Center and the editorial Department of Liberal Arts academic Abstracts of Colleges and Universities are also located in our school. The school also has a university for the elderly with a wide range of social influence.

The school now has 21173 full-time and junior college students, 5578 graduate students and 13402 night university students. Since its establishment 60 years ago, the school has trained more than 200,000 talents of all levels and types. The school is listed as a Chinese government scholarship institution for foreign students in China and a preparatory base for foreign students in Shanghai. As of March 2015 Our school has established exchanges and cooperation with 298 universities and organizations in 40 countries and regions, including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Belgium, Italy, Luxembourg, Hungary, Australia, New Zealand, Russia, Botswana, C ô te d’Ivoire, Israel, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Chile, Mexico and Hong Kong and Taiwan. At present, it has cooperated with 9 universities in six countries, including the United States, Britain, Germany, the Netherlands, Russia and France, to hold 10 Sino-foreign cooperation projects. At present, there are 643 international students in school for more than one year. The school has established three Confucius Institutes at Fukuyama University in Hiroshima, Africa and the University of Missouri in the United States.

The school has 86 undergraduate majors, covering 11 disciplines, such as philosophy, economics, law, pedagogy, literature, history, science, engineering, management, agriculture, art and so on. The major of Chinese language and literature has a national talent training and scientific research base for basic liberal arts approved by the Ministry of Education, and the major of classical philology is one of the four bases for training talents of classical literature in China. A total of 18 undergraduate education highland construction projects in Shanghai have been obtained in 4 phases, including 5 in the first phase, namely: tourism convention and exhibition economy and management, teacher education, Chinese language and literature, film and television communication, English, 2 in the second phase, applied chemistry and biotechnology (laboratory construction), 5 in the third phase, respectively: Chinese language and literature, advertising, tourism management, primary education, musicology, and 6 in the fourth phase. They are: history, innovative training mode of Chinese as a foreign language, applied psychology training mode, mathematics and applied mathematics, finance and insurance, radio, film and television new media and so on.

The school has 6 doctoral programs in first-level disciplines, 46 doctoral programs in second-level disciplines, 9 postdoctoral stations, 29 master’s programs in first-level disciplines, 161 master’s programs in second-tier disciplines, and 13 professional master’s degree programs. After decades of efforts, the school has established a number of disciplines with advantages and characteristics: comparative literature and world literature are national key disciplines; the Urban Culture Research Center is the only key research base of the Ministry of Education of the Ministry of Education in Shanghai; the International Education Research Center is the international education research and cultivation base of the Ministry of Education; the African Research Center is the regional and national research and cultivation base of the Ministry of Education. The Resource Chemistry Laboratory is the key laboratory of the Ministry of Education; Urban Culture, Computational Science, Comparative Linguistics and International and Comparative Education are four E-research institutes in Shanghai. In addition, the school also has 6 first-class disciplines in Shanghai universities; 14 Shanghai key disciplines; 16 Shanghai Education Commission key disciplines; 5 Shanghai ordinary university humanities and social sciences key research bases; 2 Shanghai key laboratories and 2 Shanghai university key laboratories; 1 Shanghai university think tank; 1 Shanghai Collaborative Innovation Center. In 2014, the funding for scientific research in the school reached 202.484 million yuan, including 56.01 million yuan for liberal arts and 146.474 million yuan for science and engineering.

The structure of the teaching staff of the school is reasonable, and it has a number of experts, scholars and outstanding young academic talents who have a certain influence at home and abroad. A high-level contingent of teachers with special professors as the banner, discipline leaders with great academic influence as the backbone, and young and middle-aged academic backbone as the main body has been initially formed. At present, there are 2810 teaching staff, including 1708 full-time teachers. Among the full-time teachers, there are 273 full-time teachers with senior professional and technical positions, 619 with deputy senior professional and technical positions, and 1426 teachers with doctoral and master’s degrees, accounting for 83.5% of the full-time teachers, of whom 792 are teachers with doctoral degrees. In addition, a team of about 500 part-time teachers has been set up, including more than 100 foreign teachers.

The school now has two campuses, Xuhui and Fengxian, covering an area of more than 1.54 million square meters. The construction area of the school building is more than 760000 square meters, including 93000 square meters of classrooms, 272000 square meters of students’ dormitory, and 71000 square meters of laboratories and practice places. The two central libraries have a collection of nearly 3.51 million books, more than 100 electronic literature databases and 6 self-built databases with collection characteristics. The Shanghai University porcelain Art Museum built in our university is one of the top ten national culture museums in Shanghai. The library has a collection of more than 130000 volumes of ancient books and more than 520 kinds of rare ancient books, which were approved by the expert group of the State Council in 2009 and awarded “National key Protection Unit of Ancient Books”. The total value of fixed assets of the school is 2.426 billion yuan, including 603 million yuan for teaching and scientific research instruments and equipment.
