2006年4月2日，经四川省人民政府批准，正式撤销四川省招办、四川省自考办，成立四川省教育考试院。四川省考试院作为四川省教育厅直属全额拨款副厅级事业单位，具有行政管理职能，具体负责四川省普通高校、成人高校、中职学校、研究生招生，以及高考、自考命题管理工作。

机构及职能

办公室：负责机关文秘、人事劳资、财务、行政后勤、国有资产、宣传、安全保密、纪检监察、信访、科研、党务、老干等工作。

招生一处：负责普通高校、成人高校、中等职业学校招生工作。

招生二处：负责普通艺术、体育院校、高校及科研单位硕士、博士研究生招生工作。

考学历教育考试处：负责高等教育学历教育自学考试工作。

自考非学历教育考试处：负责各类非学历教育考试宣传策划、市场调研和考试考务工作。

计划信息处：负责各类招生计划汇总公布，招生、自考信息采集、管理及招生、自考数据统计工作。

On April 2, 2006, with the approval of the Sichuan Provincial people’s Government, the Sichuan Provincial recruitment Office and the Sichuan Provincial self-examination Office were formally abolished, and the Sichuan Provincial Education examination Institute was established. As an institution at the deputy department level directly under the Sichuan Department of Education, Sichuan examination Institute has administrative functions, specifically responsible for the enrollment of ordinary colleges and universities, adult universities, secondary vocational schools and graduate students in Sichuan Province, as well as the proposition management of college entrance examination and self-examination.

Organization and function

Office: responsible for secretarial, personnel, labor, finance, administrative logistics, state-owned assets, publicity, safety and secrecy, discipline inspection and supervision, letters and visits, scientific research, party affairs, veterans and other work.

Enrollment one: responsible for the enrollment of ordinary colleges and universities, adult colleges and secondary vocational schools.

The second place of enrollment: responsible for the enrollment of master’s and doctoral students in general arts, sports colleges, universities and scientific research institutions.

Examination Office for academic qualifications Education: responsible for self-study examination of higher education.

Self-examination non-academic education examination office: responsible for all kinds of non-academic education examination publicity and planning, market research and examination work.

Planning Information Division: responsible for the summary and publication of all kinds of enrollment plans, enrollment, self-examination information collection, management and enrollment, self-examination data statistics.
