江苏科技大学

江苏科技大学是一所省部共建、以工为主、特色鲜明的普通高等学校。学校坐落在风景秀丽的全国历史文化名城——江苏省镇江市，是江苏省重点建设高校，教育部本科教学工作水平评估优秀学校，教育部卓越工程师教育培养计划高校。学校坚持走特色发展、内涵发展之路，形成了船舶、国防、蚕业三大特色，形成了本、硕、博比较完备的人才培养体系，逐步发展成为一所工、管、农、文、理、经、教等多学科协调发展的有特色的大学。

学校办学历史悠久，源自1933年诞生于黄浦江畔的上海大公职业学校，经历了上海市机电工业学校、上海船舶工业学校等时期，1970年迁至镇江，更名为镇江船舶工业学校，1978年升格为镇江船舶学院，1993年更名为华东船舶工业学院。1999年江苏省江海贸易学校并入，2000年中国农科院蚕业研究所与学校合并。2004年学校更名为江苏科技大学。2012年江苏省人民政府与中国船舶工业集团公司、中国船舶重工集团公司签署共建江苏科技大学协议。

学校设有14个学院，56个本科专业，拥有1个博士后科研流动站，2个博士学位授权一级学科、6个博士学位授权点、12个硕士学位授权一级学科、48个硕士学位授权点;有工程硕士、农业推广硕士、工商管理硕士、会计硕士、公共管理等5个专业硕士学位培养类型，其中工程硕士有11个培养领域。拥有1个江苏高校优势学科、2个江苏省重点序列学科、2个江苏省“十二五”一级学科重点学科、1个江苏省“十二五”一级学科重点(培育)学科、1个江苏省人才培养模式创新实验基地，4个江苏省“青蓝工程”优秀学科梯队，1个省级优秀教学团队;国家级示范中心1个，省级11个，校级9个。另外还有国家级大学生校外实践教育基地1个;拥有4个国家级特色专业建设点，11个省级品牌、特色专业，1个国家级“十二五”专业综合改革试点专业，3个国家级卓越工程师教育培养计划专业，5个江苏省卓越工程师(软件类)教育培养计划专业，7个省级重点专业(类)建设项目;近年先后获省级一、二等教学成果奖多项。

学校现有镇江东、南、西3个校区和张家港校区，占地2600余亩。现有教职工2000余名，其中专任教师1155名。具有正高职称人员154名，副高职称人员517名。有享受政府特殊津贴专家60名，全国优秀教师1名，入选“新世纪百千万人才工程”国家级人选1名、江苏特聘教授4名、江苏省有突出贡献中青年专家3名、江苏省教学名师1人、江苏省“333高层次人才培养工程”第二层次培养对象4人、江苏省“六大人才高峰”资助对象13人、江苏省高校“青蓝工程”学术带头人25人。

The school is located in Zhenjiang City, Jiangsu Province, a famous historical and cultural city with beautiful scenery. It is a key university in Jiangsu Province, an excellent school for undergraduate teaching level evaluation of the Ministry of Education, and a university of excellent engineer education and training program of the Ministry of Education. The school has a long history, originated from Shanghai Dagong Vocational School on the banks of Huangpu River in 1933, experienced Shanghai Mechanical and Electrical Industry School and Shanghai Shipbuilding Industry School, moved to Zhenjiang in 1970 and changed its name to Zhenjiang Shipbuilding Industry School. It was upgraded to Zhenjiang Shipbuilding College in 1978 and renamed East China Shipbuilding Institute in 1993. Jiangsu Jianghai Trade School was merged in 1999 and sericulture Research Institute of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences merged with the school in 2000. In 2004, the school changed its name to Jiangsu University of Science and Technology. In 2012, the people’s Government of Jiangsu Province signed an agreement with China Shipbuilding Corporation and China Shipbuilding heavy Industry Corporation to jointly build Jiangsu University of Science and Technology.
