河北科技大学

河北科技大学坐落在太行山东麓的河北省省会石家庄市，1996年由河北轻化工学院、河北机电学院和河北省纺织职工大学合并组建而成，是河北省重点建设的多科性骨干大学。2013年经河北省人民政府与国家国防科技工业局签订协议，我校被列为河北省人民政府与国家国防科技工业局共建省属重点高校。

学校占地2617亩，建筑面积89.6万平方米，固定资产总值14.9亿元，其中教学科研仪器设备总值3.3亿元，图书馆馆藏文献192万册，收订中外文科技期刊2843种，建有中国学术期刊、外文科技期刊等各种数据库，数字化信息资源总存储量达39T。《河北科技大学学报》自然科学版和社会科学版均为河北省优秀期刊，自然科学版为中国科技核心期刊、RCCSE中国核心学术期刊(扩展版)。学校现有教职工2356人，其中教学科研人员1324人，具有副高级以上职称的专任教师720人，博士生导师10人，硕士生导师506人。全日制普通本专科生、研究生、留学生共20541人，成人教育学生15875人。

学校学科专业齐全，涉及工、理、文、经、管、法、医、教育、艺术等九大学科门类，基本覆盖了河北省的传统优势产业和高新技术产业。设有18个学院，74个本科专业，其中30个为河北省名校热门专业，理工、文史类专业全部在本科一批招生;有16个硕士学位授权一级学科，涵盖92个硕士学位授权二级学科，7个专业硕士学位授权类别，16个工程硕士专业学位授权领域，具有在职人员以同等学力申请硕士学位授予权;有6个国家级特色专业建设点，14个省级品牌特色专业，7个省级本科教育创新高地，9个省级重点学科，1个省级重点发展学科。

学校紧密结合地方经济建设需要，加强产学研合作，积极组织多学科联合攻关，逐步形成了以应用研究和开发研究为主，兼有基础研究的科研工作格局。近五年来，共承担国家“973”、国家“863”、国家自然科学基金、国家社科基金等国家级课题70多项和其他纵横向课题2000项，到校科研经费连年递增;获省部级奖励81项;取得鉴定成果513项;获得具有自主知识产权的专利成果266项，专利申请量和授权量名列省内高校前茅，是“河北省知识产权培训基地”和“河北省知识产权优势培育单位”。

学校始终坚持以人才培养为中心，切实推进个性化教育改革，注重实践创新教育，努力为地方经济建设和社会发展培养基础扎实、知识面宽、适应性强、德智体全面发展、具有创新精神和实践能力的高级应用型人才。2007年，学校以“优秀”成绩通过了教育部本科教学工作水平评估。现建有国家级教学团队2个、国家精品课程2门、国家级实验教学示范中心2个，国家级双语教学示范课程1门。近五年来，学生在全国“挑战杯”竞赛、大学生节能减排竞赛、大学生数学建模竞赛、电子设计大赛、航空航天模型锦标赛(科研类)、德国“红点设计大奖”等多项活动和竞赛中，共获国家级奖励240余项、省级奖励290余项，获奖数量、层次均名列省属高校前茅，其中全国航空航天模型锦标赛(科研类)上，我校连续多年稳居奖牌榜首位。在中航工业杯国际无人飞行器创新大奖赛中获创意类一等奖。我校代表国家参加英国国际大学生飞行器设计大赛，荣获电动组项目冠军，并获该赛事唯一一项最佳设计奖。我校毕业生受到用人单位的欢迎，本科毕业生一次就业率连续10年位居省属高校前三名。

学校积极实施对外开放办学战略。与美国、英国、加拿大、韩国、澳大利亚、新西兰等23个国家的102所大学和科研机构在人才培养、教师培训、科学研究、学术交流等方面开展了实质性合作。 目前我校获批中外合作办学项目4个，与韩国诚信女子大学服装与服饰设计专业、新西兰怀卡托大学金属材料工程专业、澳大利亚联邦大学环境科学专业三个本科层次教育项目，以及与韩国祥明大学合作举办的工业设计工程专业硕士研究生教育项目。中外合作办学项目在数量和层次上，都位居河北省前列。

Hebei University of Science and Technology is located in Shijiazhuang, the capital of Hebei Province, at the eastern foot of Taihang Mountain. It was formed by the merger of Hebei Institute of Light and Chemical Technology, Hebei Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering and Hebei Textile University in 1996. It is a key multidisciplinary backbone university in Hebei Province. In 2013, by signing an agreement between the Hebei Provincial people’s Government and the State Administration of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense, our school was listed as a provincial key university jointly built by the people’s Government of Hebei Province and the State Administration of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense.

The school covers an area of 2617 mu, with a construction area of 896000 square meters, with a total value of 1.49 billion yuan in fixed assets, including 330 million yuan in teaching and scientific research instruments and equipment, 1.92 million volumes of literature in the library, and 2843 kinds of Chinese and foreign sci-tech periodicals. There are various databases such as Chinese academic journals and foreign sci-tech periodicals, and the total storage capacity of digital information resources reaches 39T. The natural science edition and the social science edition of the Journal of Hebei University of Science and Technology are both excellent journals in Hebei Province. The natural science edition is the core journal of Chinese science and technology and the core academic journal of RCCSE China (expanded edition). The school has 2356 staff, including 1324 teaching and research staff, 720 full-time teachers with deputy senior titles, 10 doctoral supervisors and 506 master’s degree supervisors. There are 20541 full-time ordinary college students, graduate students and foreign students, and 15875 adult education students.

The school has a full range of disciplines, involving engineering, science, liberal arts, economics, management, law, medicine, education, art and other nine disciplines, basically covering the traditional advantage industries and high-tech industries of Hebei Province. There are 18 colleges and 74 undergraduate majors, of which 30 are popular majors in famous universities in Hebei Province, and all the majors of science and technology, literature and history are enrolled in a batch of undergraduates; there are 16 master’s degree authorized first-tier disciplines, covering 92 master’s degree authorized second-level disciplines, 7 professional master’s degree authorized categories, 16 engineering master’s degree authorized fields, and in-service personnel have the right to apply for the grant of master’s degree with equal academic qualifications. There are 6 national characteristic specialty construction sites, 14 provincial brand characteristic specialties, 7 provincial undergraduate education innovation highlands, 9 provincial key disciplines and 1 provincial key development discipline.

The school closely meets the needs of local economic construction, strengthens industry-university-research cooperation, actively organizes multi-disciplinary joint efforts to tackle key problems, and gradually forms a scientific research pattern of giving priority to applied research and development research, as well as basic research. In the past five years, it has undertaken more than 70 national projects, such as the National Natural Science Foundation, the National Natural Science Foundation, the National Social Science Foundation, and 2000 other vertical and horizontal projects, and has received 81 provincial and ministerial awards. It has obtained 266 patent achievements with independent intellectual property rights, and the number of patent applications and authorizations ranks among the top universities in the province. The school always adheres to personnel training as the center, earnestly promotes the reform of personalized education, and pays attention to practical and innovative education. strive to train advanced applied talents with a solid foundation, wide range of knowledge, strong adaptability, all-round moral, intellectual and physical development, innovative spirit and practical ability for local economic construction and social development. In 2007, the school passed the undergraduate teaching level evaluation of the Ministry of Education with “excellent” results. There are 2 national teaching teams, 2 national high-quality courses, 2 national experimental teaching demonstration centers and 1 national bilingual teaching demonstration course. In the past five years, students have won more than 240 national awards and 290 provincial awards in many activities and competitions, such as national “Challenge Cup” competition, college student energy saving and emission reduction competition, college student mathematical modeling competition, electronic design competition, aerospace model championship (scientific research), German “Red Dot Design Award” and so on. Among them, our school ranked first in the medal table for many years in the National Aerospace Model Championship (scientific research category). Won the first prize in the creativity category in the AVIC Industrial Cup International Unmanned aerial vehicle Innovation Grand Prix. On behalf of our country, our school participated in the British International College Student aircraft Design Competition, won the champion of the electric group project, and won the only best design award in the event. Our graduates are welcomed by employers, and the employment rate of undergraduate graduates ranks among the top three provincial colleges and universities for 10 years in a row.

The school actively implements the strategy of opening up to the outside world. It has carried out substantive cooperation with 102 universities and scientific research institutions in 23 countries, including the United States, Britain, Canada, South Korea, Australia and New Zealand, in personnel training, teacher training, scientific research and academic exchanges. At present, our university has been approved four Sino-foreign cooperative school-running projects, including three undergraduate-level education projects with the clothing and clothing design major of Korea Integrity Women’s University, the metal material engineering major of Waikato University of New Zealand, and the environmental science major of Australian Federal University. and the master’s education program of industrial design engineering organized in cooperation with Xiangming University in Korea. Sino-foreign cooperative school-running projects are in the forefront of Hebei Province in terms of quantity and level.
