湖北省教育考试院

湖北省教育考试院位于美丽的东湖之滨，是湖北省教育厅直属事业单位，负责组织全省的教育考试工作，于1997年11月18日正式挂牌。内设院办公室、财务管理中心、高等教育考试办公室、高等教育自学考试办公室、综合考试办公室、命题制卷办公室(命题制卷中心)、科技信息办公室等处室，共有在岗员工140人;院属产业有湖北招生考试杂志社、湖北楚才教育考试印务中心、湖北楚才考试服务公司、湖北楚才传媒有限责任公司等产业。

湖北省教育考试院的主要职责是：贯彻执行国家和省有关教育考试的方针、政策和法规;按照国家和省有关教育发展和改革的精神，制定全省教育考试的实施办法，并负责组织、监督全省教育考试的实施工作。具体包括：负责普通高考，成人高考，研究生考试及同等学力人员、在职人员攻读硕士学位的考试;拟定全省高等教育自学考试开考专业及考试计划，组织全省高等教育自学考试的考试;审核颁发自学考试单科合格证书和毕业证书;对全省自考助学活动进行指导和监督;受教育部委托，负责湖北省内的全国计算机等级考试、全国公共英语等级考试等非学历证书考试;承担国家下达的普通高考命题、高等教育自学考试命题及其他部门委托的考试命题任务;负责开发、设计、推广新兴考试项目;负责教育考试信息管理及现代技术的开发、应用;开展教育考试研究，主办教育考试刊物和教育考试网站。此外，湖北省教育考试院还承办其他单位委托的各类考试。

湖北省教育考试院承办考试项目达40余种，年考生达300万人次。经过多年的努力，湖北省教育考试院在考试管理、考试评价、考试科研、考试基地及考试队伍建设等方面建立了完善的制度，积累了丰富的经验，并取得了显著成绩：各类考试报名、管理基本实现电子化，网上评卷得到全面推广;无纸化考试等一批科研成果产生较大影响;现代化考场、命题制卷中心等可为各类考试提供比较完善的服务;管理人员的数量、年龄结构、专业素质等都能较好地适应各类考试需要。目前，湖北省教育考试院已基本形成了国家考试与社会考试、国内考试与海外考试、学历考试与非学历考试等共同发展，种类丰富、品种多样的教育考试体系;形成了命题、制卷、考试、评卷等功能完善的考试服务体系;形成了科研、宣传、咨询等特色鲜明的考试信息体系。湖北省教育考试院承办的各类考试因组织严密、管理科学而备受主办单位和社会肯定，湖北省教育考试院也因此树立了良好的社会形象，并成为湖北省内最权威的考试机构。

The main duties of the Hubei Provincial Educational examination Institute are to implement the principles, policies and regulations of the state and the province on educational examinations, to formulate measures for the implementation of provincial educational examinations in accordance with the spirit of national and provincial educational development and reform, and to be responsible for organizing and supervising the implementation of educational examinations in the province. Specifically include: responsible for the general college entrance examination, adult college entrance examination, postgraduate examination and the examination of personnel with equivalent academic ability and in-service personnel to study for a master’s degree; draw up the professional and examination plan of the provincial self-study examination of higher education; organize the examination of the self-study examination of the whole province; examine and issue the single subject qualification certificate and graduation certificate of the self-study examination; guide and supervise the self-study aid activities of the whole province. Entrusted by the Ministry of Education, responsible for non-academic certificate examinations such as the National computer Grade examination and the National Public English Grade examination in Hubei Province; to undertake the national general college entrance examination propositions, higher education self-study examination propositions and other examination propositions entrusted by other departments; responsible for the development, design and promotion of emerging examination projects; responsible for educational examination information management and the development and application of modern technology Carry out educational examination research, host educational examination publications and educational examination websites. In addition, the Hubei Provincial Education examination Institute also undertakes all kinds of examinations entrusted by other units.
