抓鸟

　　抓鸟隶属于北京奇媒思创信息科技有限责任公司。最初的想法诞生于2004年的牛津，在北郊的一个小镇“夏日之城。”当地两位中国学生居住在此，其中一人研究计算语言学，另一个正在攻读教育语言学。夏日之城景色如画，静谧的学习生活让两人经常在傍晚聊起语言和文化的话题。

　　牛津大学会把不同领域的人安排在一起生活，比如让钢琴家，数学家和历史学家促膝深谈。其背后深意在于人类科学本没有边界，只有融汇和发展。也许正因为是这样，两位中国学生开始渐渐自然地聊到中国人语言学习的问题。渐渐话题深入到能力，弊病，工具和教育方法等。很快两人开始产生一些共同的想法，以及推动改变的心愿。

　　新世纪之初正好是计算力和统计学开始携手爆发威力的年代。懂中文的百度和懂互联网信息的Google正是在这个时候开始繁荣。对于牛津的两位学子来说，当语言学和数学、统计、计算工具结合之后，一定要让它们产生绚烂的“化学反应”。很多优秀的实验开始进行，产品功能开始诞生。但是两人的方向一直有一个主线：有限挖掘技术的深度，无限追求中国用户的体验和效率。这些教育学和计算领域赋予的力量在两人的统一目的之下，得到了快速融合，最终诞生了抓鸟的雏形。

　　抓鸟在诞生之初就无止尽地追求用户体验和效率，从而最终能让优秀的教育方法通过这些手段达到中国的最终语言用户，让他们在使用过程中提高语言能力。就好比在无形间提高了一个人的体能，而后习得更强大动作和行为。这些语言能力包括视听影响，话题影响，关联记忆和阅读训练等等。

Soon the two men began to share some common ideas and a desire to push for change.

The beginning of the new century coincides with the era when computing power and statistics began to explode together. Baidu, which understands Chinese, and Google, which understands Internet information, began to flourish at this time. For the two students in Oxford, when linguistics is combined with mathematical, statistical and computational tools, they must have brilliant “chemical reactions”. Many excellent experiments began to be carried out, and the product features began to be born. But the direction of the two has always had a main line: limited depth of mining technology, unlimited pursuit of Chinese user experience and efficiency. These forces in the field of pedagogy and computing have been rapidly integrated under the unified purpose of the two, and finally gave birth to the embryonic form of catching birds.
