国际小姐世界选美大赛

　　国际小姐(Miss International Beauty
Pageant)是世界三大选美活动之一，首届于1960年在美国加州长滩举办并，每年举办一届;选美主旨是实现妇女对国际社会的贡献;通过国际大会向全世界拓展友谊的网络;使女性的内在美转化为仁爱和友谊来推动世界的亲善与和平。

　　1968年至1970年转移至日本举行，虽于1971年重回长滩，但自1972年起至2007年，几乎全在日本举行。2008年，选美活动于澳门金光综艺馆举行，2012年起重返日本举行。
2006年由华夏时代传媒引入中国大陆，并在中国北京怀柔举行全球总决赛。
2009年、2010年全球总决赛均在中国成都举行，2009年第50届起国际小姐中国大赛均由华夏时代传媒选拔、运营管理。

　　国际小姐的获奖标准是通过全球总决赛选出来的“国际小姐”获胜者不仅仅是“美丽的冠军”。除了“美貌”，获胜者还要具备智慧和处事能力，另外还要具有“强烈的国际意识”，最终成为竭力奉献于国际社会的女性代表。

Miss International (Miss International Beauty)

It was transferred to Japan from 1968 to 1970 and returned to long Beach in 1971, but almost all of it was held in Japan from 1972 to 2007. In 2008, the beauty pageant was held at the Golden Light Variety Museum in Macau and returned to Japan in 2012.

Chinese mainland was introduced by Huaxia time Media in 2006 and the global finals were held in Huairou, Beijing, China.

The 2009 and 2010 global finals were held in Chengdu, China. Since 2009, the 50th Miss International China Competition has been selected, operated and managed by Huaxia time Media.

The winning criterion for Miss International is that the winner of Miss International selected through the global finals is not just a “beautiful champion”. In addition to “beauty”, the winner should not only have wisdom and ability to do things, but also have a “strong international consciousness” and eventually become a female representative who strives to contribute to the international community.
